What a game. Lakers have too many turnovers and Anthony Davis has a foul problem. LaVine is on fire and DeRozan put some buckets when needed. Great % in threes for Bulls. That would be a though loss at home.
It looks like Lakers' streak will end soon. Last seven games will be vital. They don't have a luxury to lose any game. Pelicans may pass them tomorrow.

Pat Bev though, funny that when he scored against Lebron, he gestures that James is way too small for him.  Cheesy

That who he is, he  always do that with any players trying to get into their heads to lose their focus in the game. That's also some sort of revenge for trading him away with the Bulls.
But that was really a tough loss for the Lakers as every game for them is a much needed win. Another loss or two may put them out of the playoff/play-in contention.
Hope they'll make it as they are now going to be a complete roster comes playoffs.

He only want to create a discussion to highlight his name but overall he is nothing on what Lebron's achieve. Maybe for now he can mock Lebron at that time but for sure next season Lakers will be a good title contender team. For sure only media hype the name of Pat Bev but other player doesn't give any damn about what he is saying since he is just creating crazy things just to make his opponent angry to him. Although their lose to Bulls is disappointing but for sure they learn a lot especially on rooster rotation. If they can't make it this year well next season is good year to bounce back.

Same thing with how he do it with KD before. Remember those times where he and KD were being hyped as social media make
a big deal with how he frustrates KD, something that brings a hype to his name.

This is just something that will easily be forgotten, nothing especial to that only those critics will make that a big deal.

Moving forward, Lakers with a healthy squad will make a good run next season if they will fail to move up to the playoffs or even
play-in, without changing the lineup and established the chemistry, they are more competitive now.

I don't think it was only Pat Bev, the whole Bulls team got into the head of the Lakers players.
They are at least trying to make a comeback. But the Bulls players got so much into their heads that they absolutely lost their nerve.

Anthony Davis was making fouls out of frustration. This has certainly made the chance of the Lakers making the playoffs real harder.

The news of Damian Lillard ending the season made me a little sad. I don't want him to be injured at all, if he has a problem, it may be difficult for him next season. When such a good player deals with serious injuries, he cannot catch up with his old performance, and his age has started to progress.
Portland Trailblazers doesn't have much of a chance to be successful this year anymore. Therefore, the decision taken may be the right one
Yes, I agree, this is a good decision by the Trail Blazers management. Let him take his rest and figure out what he can do next season. Simons and Jerami Grant are both injured so there's nothing much to do.
The only would be to lose more games and try to have a better chance at the lottery in the next draft pick.
I mean, last year was a successful one for Orlando Magic with Paolo Banchero and Houston Rockets' Jabari Smith also making a lot of progress on both offensive and defensive ends.
Once they have a deeper bench, I bet they can come back and play better next year. Perhaps changing the plays should also be their main focus, it cannot be Damian Lillard who handles the ball all the time, there must be someone else who can step up their game to spread the floor more.
I am intrigued about what position will be their target in the Draft, perhaps a shooting guard too or a center/forward.

Unlike before when CJ still playing for them, he can carry the team, even Dame is sitting and resting or if the main alpha is in injury, he can manage to win games with the role players.

Something that Simon and Grant need to work out. They need to step for the team and make it possible
to win games while Dame is resting, we will see how they will take the draft looking to see a rookie that
will help them both offense and defense.

Damian Lillard is a millionaire player who has won seven NBA All-Stars and six All-NBA Team Selections.
In October 2021 Lillard was named the league's greatest player of all time.
Lillard also won a gold medal on the 2020 US Olympic team in Tokyo.
He has given a number of wins and became a core player on the Blazers team.
By deciding to end the season, the Blazers will lose strength and this will be a big loss for the Blazers because they will not have a great player like Lillard.
Maybe the Blazers have prepared another player to replace Lillard, but I'm not sure I can be as good as Lillard.
Injuries can happen to anyone including professional players like Lillard but let's hope he doesn't get hurt in the slightest.
Whether he'll get time for healing his injury, he's all set for life. He's spent his money wisely and AFAIK, he's got a car dealership business and that's why even if his team shuts him down, he may just have to accept it because the fact that he can't do anything from that decision, he has to follow necessary steps and decisions made by his team.
He will have quite a long time when it really ends the season to heal his injury.
Yes, with his decision he will never live in trouble because he already has a lot of assets and enough wealth so that even if he stops playing for the Blazers team he is unlikely to suffer and run out of money.
He really has to follow the steps that have been made and he can only surrender because indeed circumstances are not in his favor for the end of this season.

Hornets with MJ's management should be released and he's good that he's selling it now.
Dallas is such a terrible team by not having a good results with both Kyrie and Luka playing. The fans have expected a lot from both but that's it.
They're both great ball handlers but it seem that they're exploding and I mean by exploding is like that there's no direction while I'm seeing them play both.
Well, MJ got his profit now, so I guess it's time for him to sell his shares already. Now the question is will there be any buyer?

Luka-Kyrie tandem is a fail at least for me. Yes their offense got better (I guess), but their defense gotten worse. Their defense has been bad already since they got Irving, and letting go their defensive player just made them even worse defensively. No wonder why they are now out of the play-in tournament.

Pat Bev though, funny that when he scored against Lebron, he gestures that James is way too small for him.  Cheesy
It's the same as what Luka said over Booker. "Everybody acting tough, when they're up."
At least he must've do that kind of gesture when the game is close. Do it when it's still anybody's game. He's kind of funny like what you said, but at least he isn't the same as what "Dynasty" Brooks is currently doing to many players. Cheesy

Yeah, but they did manage to comeback in this game and cut the lead to 7 last one minutes and a half of the game. But if they could have just played good defense and not allow easy basket and stop and then they score on the other end, it might be a different story.

Yeah, Bulls shoot good at 3, even DeRozan who is not known to be a good shooter or at last attempt at 3, have at one point back to back hits.

It’s truly sad to know that they are now letting go Lillard due to his frequent injury to give more room for another prospect. We can’t deny that his performance is drastically downgrade due to his many injuries in the past. He is a good player but letting him in for the rest of the season and the following will just a burned money for Blazers without expecting any return.

A new solid guard or forward might boost again their team next season.

It's worth noting Lillard is under contract until the 26/27 season, and he is still a very valuable player for the Blazers, as he averages 32.2 points per game this season. I think the Blazers' management made the right decision because the current roster probably wouldn't have any success in the postseason even if they made the play-in tournament. So there's no reason to risk Lillard's health one more time in the remaining games.

That might be true. But we will know after the season if the Blazers will keep Lillard or will move on without him on the team. They have invested a lot in Lillard but he was not able to earn a championship for them since they failed to give him enough support to make a run. Since they traded McCollum, it has been downhill for the Blazers. A restructure could be good for them if they can find a new player they can put their money on.

Players don't normally make a pass to the referee like that. There was frustration and you can clearly see the aggression in that throw so the force was enough to warrant a call. Was ejection the right one or maybe should have been just a technical? I don't know. Perhaps it's considered as a physical "assault" to the ref which would make the ejection of Trae justifiable.

An ejection was too much. The ref is letting his emotions ruin the game for us. The NBA should not let this happen and check the refs that passes unwarranted ejections just because of emotions. This will ruin the game specially if they kick out key players.

The grounds of ejecting Trae is something that the review should be done, they can give technical foul, but throwing him away from the game will impacted to the whole game of his team.

He's the main alpha, the primary offensive player for the team throwing him out will have a big impact on the performance
of the whole squad. Luckily that they've won the game for sure if they lose it, today lots of gamblers will be pissed because
of that action from the ref.
I still haven't seen the "power" of the ball that was thrown, like I have seen westbrook mistakenly send it to a refs head and get technical as well, so we know it happens and it has happened before and that is understandable. However, refs are getting worse while players are getting worse as well.

I believe this; players are foul chasing more than ever in history, which is terrible for the game, we either see people scoring, or they miss, or they are fouled, back in the day we saw people defending these, we do not see so much of defense anymore, it's just hit or miss or foul, that's it, no blocks like the old days, no steals like old days, mostly interceptions not real steals, not as many as we used to have at least.

This is what players are looking for and angry at refs and they are wrong. What refs are wrong for is the calls, the footballs VAR system needs to be here as well, and refs needs to look at their wrong decisions and overturn them easily, because right now they have come as far as causing teams to lose games because of wrong calls, that is terrible.

Trae got ejected in the third quarter because he threw the ball "to hard" to the ref, haha. How this in enough to through a player out I don't understand, these refs are getting more and more like a Karen.

Something has to change I think.

LOL, it wasn't that hard, but the good thing is that they won the game. Trae Young is very important for the team, and I hope the technical fouls he committed this season won't have any effect on the playoffs. We don't want to see him getting suspended for one game because he accumulated enough technical fouls to merit a suspension.

Anyhow, Denver demolished the Bucks very easy, it's the preview of what could have been the finals, but it was in the Nuggets home court so they have all the advantage. Giannis still had a good game with 31 points, but I think it was Middleton, who had a bad game.

Good game for the Nuggets, the Bucks controlled the first half, but in the 3rd quarter it was all Nuggets, everyone  who got on the floor played very good for the Nuggets and if they play like this, their form, their shooting and their defense, it's hard to stop them. Bucks lead at the top is now just 2 games behind the Celtics, so if the fight for the playoff spot in the West is close for the 8th to down position, I think it's also interesting how the Celtics and the Bucks will end up as well in the top in the East. Philly losing 2 games now could have also had an impact, if they won those two, it will be obviously closer as well.

Lakers vs the Bulls right now, the Bulls had a big lead, they might have to spoil Lebron James comeback game here.

Hey I'm a Dame fan but he isn't even in the top 10 players this year.  He isn't antlywhere near the top of the best players of all time.  He might not even be the best blazer of all time.  Clyde Drexler would give him a run.  But you are talking MJ, Lebron, kobe, bird, magic, wilt, so and and so on.

Clyde or even a prime Walton (not the Bill Walton that the majority we have seen in 80's as a Celtics as he is already injury prone and in the tail end of his career), and Walton bring a championship to the Blazers organization. There could also be the case of Brandon Roy, but retired already at age 26 because of injuries as well.

Anyhow, yeah, just sad to see him go down again this season, it's like the Blazers are cursed with such good players but injuries slow them down or retire for good like the case of Greg Oden.

Yeah, that's how deep Atlanta was, even if Trae was ejected, they were able to maintain their composure and win that game. Lately though, this referees are making a lot of bad calls, and if this worsen in the playoffs, for sure there will be a lot of players that are  going to criticized them. And what will be their response? either eject the player, suspect or fine him, not good.

I mean the referee can just give a technical to Young, but instead the referee ejected. Referees really are becoming more sensitive right now.
It's because of how they think they're mistreated. But they don't understand where these players are coming from.

the nba games when they are happening I'm already getting ready to sleep or sometimes I'm already in bed sleeping. but these last few weeks I've been tending to watch the games at stake, but I confess that I get sleepy during the games

Los Angeles Lakers - Chicago Bulls

the lakers arrive for this game with 37 wins and 37 losses, and in the last 10 games they had wins and only 3 losses. they have a sequence of 3 consecutive victories, while the Bulls arrive for this game with 35 victories and 38 defeats, and in the last 10 games they managed to have 6 victories and 4 defeats. also had won in their last game. in my opinion the lakers can win this game, the odds in case the lakers win is also not something attractive looking at the risk - benefit since this will be a very difficult game

Cleveland Cavaliers  -  Houston Rockets

Cavaliers comes to this game with a very good campaign, they had 47 wins and 28 losses, and in the last 10 games they had 8 wins and only 2 losses. It is also necessary to note that he has 3 consecutive victories. on the other side we have the already eliminated Rockets, they had 18 wins and 56 losses, and in the last 10 games they managed to get 3 wins and 7 losses. they have 4 consecutive defeats, I don't see the Rockets having any motivation in this game, they will lose

Atlanta Hawks -  Memphis Grizzlies

Hawks come to this game with 37 wins and 37 losses, and in the last 10 games they managed to get 5 wins and 5 losses, but an interesting fact is that they won in their last game. on the other hand we have the Grizzlies who have 46 wins and 27 losses, and in the last 10 games they managed to win in 8 games and only lost in 2 games and have a sequence of 5 victories. my guess is that the Grizzlies have everything to come out of this game with victory
