How about the Celtics losing tonight against the Rockets? It's totally unexpected for the Celtics to go down against a low team like the young Rockets, but it did happened and it was a very close game.

The thing is that Boston allowed the Rockets to be comfortable at their home, building momentum and takes double digit. And this guys are so young that there are not pressures whatsoever, they just play, hit the 3's and play good defense.

^^ 7-26 away from home, so that speaks for the Warriors road record. So maybe in their last 5 games, might not be good for the Warriors. But being the defending champion, who knows, they still have that DNA to win against the top teams right now despite missing Wiggins.

And it seems that Poole has found his touch tonight against the Suns, so at least this a good sign for the Warriors. We have discussing this a few pages back, at least Jordan Poole responded now. And the Warriors needed that kind of performance in the road.

Warriors won!
Steph and Klay were hot in the 1st half making a 25-point lead. But the Suns never gave up and pursued a close battle, they did and even got close to a 3-point lead. But the early foul trouble and bonus for the Warriors at 6 minutes left in the 4th are what made the difference, then there's Jordan Poole who suddenly got hot.
Did they shake hands after the game? I didn't see it. Seems like even Damion Lee is creating some trouble against Jamychal Green in garbage time.

Great to hear that the Warriors are back! They seem to be on a roll lately, with two consecutive wins against tough opponents in the NBA, the Bucks and the Suns. It's always fun to watch Thompson shoot his normal, and he seems to be more comfortable now in the 3 point line. He has been consistent lately with his shooting, which is great news for the Warriors.
Warriors won "ON THEIR HOME" where they have one of the best home records right now.

TBH, I'm more nervous than exciting on how the Warriors are playing this season. Yes the Warriors are winning on their home, and like you said, they beat Bucks and Suns who are at the top teams currently, but that's on their home. What if that happened on the road? Will it be the same.

Anyway, that's Warriors' 8th straight home win, but they are on a 8-game road lose streak as well. They are 1st in 3-pt FG% on their home, but only 29th on the road which is a huge disparity. Anyway, Splash Brothers + Poole lead their team scoring 81 of the total 123 points. Klay exploded for 33 points in the first half, and got 8/12 3-pt shooting while the team overall got 14/21 from threes in first half alone. They ended the game having 14/39 3-pt shots. The Suns made a comeback in the 3rd quarter putting the lead of the Warriors as low as 4 points, but the good thing is that the Warriors made a small run to end the quarter leading by 10 points, and eventually the win.

Now the Warriors will be tested because their next 5 games will be on the road. It will be against Clippers, Hawks, Grizzlies, Rockets & Mavericks. They are currently 5th at the standings right now, but if they will not adjust on their next games and will still lose on the road, a 3 loss out of these 5 road games will put them down as low as 9th spot, so they need to make some adjustments before their road games.

As for the Suns, it's possible that they may need Durant in order to win against the Warriors. If Durant is ruled out for the rest of the season, it could potentially affect the Suns' chances of winning. It'll be interesting to see how things play out in the coming games, I hope the Warriors winning streak will continue especially on the road where they are weak.

Utah Jazz will have a game later.
I am curious if Talen Horton-Tucker could continue his hot performance
~snip

In the last match, Horton Tucker absolutely went wild. He got 37 points in 32 minutes. This match was against the Hornet.

The next match is going to be against the Miami Heat. So, I believe Miami Heat is going to be a lot harder to beat for the Jazz. And I also do not know if Horton Tucker is going to be able to have consistent performance. I believe every player will need to perform well from the Jazz if they want to win. Butler from the Miami Heat performed really well in the last match. The Jazz will have to keep him in check. They are going to certainly need to heavily guard him at all times.
Well, I think that ends my curiosity. So, Talen Horton-Tucker cannot continue his hot streak even if he played 27 minutes of game time. Markkanen did most of the work. As you said, he is not known for consistency yet. I bet when Clarkson is back, he will also be put on bench minutes. But, he could always make the most out of it when given the time.

Is Ja Morant back on the Grizzlies line up? I was just wondering because they are currently the favorite against the Mavs. Is it because they are on a winning streak while their opponent is still struggling to find that right balance? Maybe I'm missing something here.

Interesting developments in the West with less than a month to play. Top 3 teams probably through but still tough to call who will make it to the top 6 or even the play in tournament.

No, Ja Morant is still not playing but the Mavs will not have Luka Doncic today because of a thigh injury and Kyrie Irving is questionable as well. I do not know why they are favorites because aside from Ja Morant, the Grizzlies are also missing Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, and 2 others. It is a good time to bet for the Mavs since they are solid in home and the Grizzlies are bad on road. You should take advantage of this.
I saw a Facebook post from Bleacher Report FB page (a reliable source) saying that Ja Morant will be away from the Grizzlies "INDEFINITELY".

I bolded the word indefinitely because that's the key word with this one. Many are expecting that he will come back and play for the playoffs, but with what happened, we might not see him playing on this regular season as well as the playoffs.

Base on that post, he entered a counselling program in Florida and there is no timetable for his return. This is a bad news for the Grizzlies and their fans. Adams, is out and might come back at least in the playoffs. Clarke is already gone for the season because of his injury, and Morant will be away indefinitely because of the issue. Good thing for the Grizzlies is that, they have Tyus Jones who is playing really well as their reserved point guard. They will still enter the playoffs, but the question is that, how high they will achieve?

They didn't hesitate fouling the knocks just did a great job keeping the ball moving.  People sure do love the Lakers, they are barely a fringe playoff team they have zero chance of winning the championship.  They might not even get to play the playin...bottom line knicks won on the road in LA, Getty up.

I also have doubts they will win the championship with all the other teams very stacked right now. But they have a chance to enter the playoffs though. With the way they are playing lately, they can win enough games to enter the play in and eventually the playoffs. Anyway, I lose my bet because of that bad sequence.

No, Ja Morant is out indefinitely by suspension. Yes, the Memphis is somewhat on the losing streak, and then the Mavs 0-2 right now. And the most important factor while they are the underdogs is that Kyrie and Luka are still out.

It's over now, the Nuggets still on the losing skid, they just lost to the Brooklyn Nets. But it was a good game as they comeback from a 11 deficit in the 4th quarter and just lost by 2 points. Jokic has the chance to take the lead, but he was double team. And then they foul and sent Bridges to the line with 1.8 seconds like, making 1 out 2. And in the final seconds, Jokic has again had the ball in his hands, but it was a bad shot in my opinion. They are still seeded number 1 in the West and slim chance to lost that seeding. However, they need to start to win again. This lost is big because it's in their homecourt. They will have to travel to Toronto for their next game.
He averages 24.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 10.0 assists this season. Even though he's a center, he's playing with a triple-double season average, it's really great. Definitely the biggest candidate for the mvp award, but it would be a great injustice if mvp is not chosen just because it will not be the third time in a row. The only thing missing is the championship. He will be called the best European ever if he wins a championship. I can understand the criticism he recieves about defending the basket but nobody is perfect. He is also not doing too bad, imo. Defense is not a one man work, it is a definitely team effort. Nuggets seems like on their way to a solid number 1 spot on the west. They will win the needed games.

Interesting that you brought out the numbers, against their lost to the Bulls, Luka didn't get a triple double, and they say it was one of the reasons for that big blow out lost against Chicago. But against their back to back losses, he had, very close triple double numbers but they still lost.

They are still the top seed, but they are showing their weakness right now, just like the Boston Celtics when they had a losing skid. So they need a good win, last 10 is 6-4. Tomorrow will be against the Raptors and I will say that it is a must win for them.

It's normal to foul in that situation, but what's not normal is taking too much time before fouling Josh Hart. It's just unfortunate that he didn't miss the free throw, and even if the Lakers made the 3-point shot, time was not in their favor. Maybe they'll reflect on what happened, as they came back but wasted the opportunity to have a chance to win in the end.
What is to be so aware of? I mean players should be aware of the time that is remained, and the point difference and they should know if they should foul or not. There is no scenario where it is alright to let the other team take so much time when the situation is like that, what did they expected Knicks to throw the ball in the air? Obviously the time would run out if you do not foul right away.

Plus, we are talking about a situation that doesn't even require the coach to tell you to foul, it is the common sense and you should be doing it right away even without getting any orders from the coach as well. This was a simple mistake, shouldn't be repeated for sure.

That is the kind of question where the players could only answer why it took them some precious time before they realized that they should foul it to have their team some time to prepare for it because that time was the only thing left that does hold their chance from being defeated. But seeing what they did earlier was clearly a mistake on their side, they should be aware of what is happening and take steps ahead just to be sure. That was a wasted game for sure.

Winding down.

Lakers had a mini comeback, but they made a wrong execution in the end. It was heartbreaking as they were unable to complete it, and the Knicks won the game, splitting the two games at the Lakers' home court.

They wasted a lot of time in the dying seconds and failed to foul right away, which resulted in their inability to execute a good game plan. It was a bad play, and they seemed to be experiencing a mental breakdown.

Yes, they made it down to 2 points, but they allow the Knicks to score as they foul Josh Hart, and then make those 2 FT. I think it's just bad play in the 4th quarter as they look for more isolation play.

But good experience for them at least with this kind of lost, it's a winnable one, but they really need to really focus specially when they make the comeback in the 3rd quarter. But lost concentration in the 4th and it's kind late when they have to do the catch up again in the last 4 minutes of the game.

It's normal to foul in that situation, but what's not normal is taking too much time before fouling Josh Hart. It's just unfortunate that he didn't miss the free throw, and even if the Lakers made the 3-point shot, time was not in their favor. They should talk and analyze what lapses they've made and try not to repeat that same mistake, almost a good rally but in that last dying minutes they've failed to have good decision making.

Still no LeBron and they are doing or playing with good chemistries, the winning chance is good for the Lakers
it's just a learnable mistake that they can work out and adjust to their future games.

They just don't know how to reverse the odds in their favor by having the technicalities of the fight on their side, if only LeBron was there playing, I'm quite sure that he can make it in time so that they can have enough time to make another rally and potentially, defeat the tired Knicks. Now, I'm not a LeBron fan but I can somehow assure that situations like that can somehow be prevented because they now got a good defensive team and as an offensive team as well. Now, the bad side is, LeBron is not that familiar with the newly acquired players and it would take some of their precious times just to get them in synch as I'm sure their gameplay won't be the same if their main man will return.

Some str*p clubs have been dropping Ja's image, I thought that it wasn't him but after looking at the images and the fan's comments, they all tell that it was him.
It's not an actual big thing right when someone goes in there and has some fun but in his case, he's an NBA player and that makes it sense for that establishment to drop his image. If I were Ja, I'll do something like sue the management by releasing that image.

However, Poole's production is not that important. What matters now is that the Warriors continue to win to secure a safe playoff spot.

I agree, they just need to remain consistent just as how they've won against Bucks.

Yeah, but he knows that he is a public figure now, so everything he did on public, for sure someone has eyes on it, camera rolling and stuff like that. He really need a good circle of friends right now, not those gangsta because it can ruin him in the future.

If I'm not mistaken, Poole was made the second unit when Steph went back. But probably he is just having a bad scoring night.

But you can see he still has it, quick moves in the inside and his outside shots.

I hope that kid can renew his self to be a better man once he returns to the hardwood, he was just unfortunate because he was surrounded by the wrong crowd which resonates his actions to act like gangsta. Even the real gangsta like Dame doesn't behave like gangsta because he knows that career is much more important first because that's how you got your life and your family's life comfortable, so be professional about it.

For Jordan Poole, he still got the speed and nothing has change. The only changes was he wasn't getting those passes because Curry is now back on the team and him, back on the 2nd unit but still efficient in his role despite the less load he got.

Yes, they almost had it but here they goes again, we are again witnessing the inconsistent Lakers after making a spot in the Play-In bracket and now, they are back again in the 11th seed because of that. Honestly, they got a good advantage in the game earlier especially in the size as AD was there and then we have Knicks without Brunson but it seems to me that the Knicks wasn't even having that much challenge that I expected.

LeBron's come back is still uncertain and reports says he's doing everything he can to get back to the team. With that lost against the Knicks, they fall back to 11th seed. Without LeBron the chances for the Lakers to make it to the playoffs is so small. I though LeBron's injury was not too major that he would be able to play after 1-2 weeks. Let's see if LeBron's return will just in time or too late for the Lakers. Cant wait for the playoffs though.
A number of comments have been made about his absence due to injury, and I can't understand how the news of his doping scandal is not being talk about and how it will affect his ban from ever playing basket ball again according to the news. Does it mean that the news is fake or is still under investigation?

Utah Jazz will have a game later.
I am curious if Talen Horton-Tucker could continue his hot performance while Jordan Clarkson is still out. 3 consecutive games with 20+ points thanks to the added minutes while their main guard is resting.
In his recent game, he went nuts with almost a triple-double performance. 37 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists to help the Jazz win against the Hornets.
I know he is one of the most underrated players like Cam Thomas of the Brooklyn Nets but whenever they are given minutes and let the ball handling be in their hands, they will surely give a wild performance.
Against Miami Heat later, one of the known defensive teams in the league, let's see how he will break that strong defense of theirs. I bet Butler will handle him.

I didn't really expect they will break their losing streak against the Lakers because that team had been playing better and been trying to climb the high ranks. More unpredictable outcomes might happen as we get close to the playoffs.

Don't forget that the Knicks are also a good team. While the Lakers are doing well, the Knicks are also playing well. Currently ranked number 6 in the East with a 40-30 win/loss record, you can tell that they are a tough team as they are above .500. The next few games are very crucial for the Lakers. They need to win all the remaining games to ensure they will be in the play-in tournament, as that is also the mentality of teams who are not yet disqualified.
