That was a close game. The commentator said at the beginning to punish the Warriors in the paint for playing small ball, but it seems small ball is still effective. They just made some mistakes in the dying minutes. Overall, either team could have won, it only differed on the execution in the end. With the outcome, the Warriors losing streak continues.
And... they lost again on the road. 2/5
Yes I'm counting it because these 5 road games will be very crucial for the whole team. If they will still lose in these next 3 road games, they might go down to as low as the 9th or even 10th spot. That's how important these next games for them especially that they are on a Western Conference where the 4th until the 12th spot are only separated by 5 games.

I also thought that the Warriors will win on that game, but missed threes, turnovers caused them the game, and with that they extended their road losing streak into 10.

What a beauty this ending was.

Our guy Maxi Kleber with 3 clutch free throws 15sec before the end to make it a 1 point game and then after a Lakers turnover Maxi's first NBA game winner buzzer 3 pointer.

He is a force on the defensive end but his shooting from 3 is  definitely worth mentioning as well.

Thanks AD for the "great" foul on Maxi shooting a 3, amazing.

GO MAVS.
The Lakers' defense crumbled at the final seconds of the game, and they focused their attention on Irving too much that they left his other teammates.
On the other hand, I'm pretty sure nobody expected Kleber to shot the buzzer beater right, but still it's not ok to leave the you're guarding away because they can just shoot on three if needed like what happened. Anyway, it's a good revenge win for the Mavericks after blowing out a 26-point lead on their home to lose eventually against the Lakers.

Injuries are really taking a toll one the NBA as we get closer to the end of the season. I should be getting excited about the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Dallas Mavericks tonight, but I’m not sure if any of the superstars are going to be on the floor. Luka maybe will put on a show but I would’ve loved to have seen Kyrie and LeBron face off again on their latest teams.

It was basically how the Lakers team has been for the last couple of years.  They just aren't that good and I hope they don't make a full series playoff because they will get smacked around and be boring.  Was funny because as I was watching that broken play and was thinking to myself the Lakers are gonna screw this up and bam.  3 at the buzzer lol.

The match between the Hawks and the Golden State Warriors was interesting. As usual Stephen Curry was carrying the Warriors. I don't know if I should say that this was a bad performance from the Warriors. Because they definitely did not play that bad. I thought if another player could pull off a performance like Stephen Curry, The result come could have been different.

Personally, I think it was a good performance from the Hawks. They have played really well and also played as a team. They did not win just because of individual performance. Of course, they had good individual performances in that match but the reason why they won is because they performed well in both defense and offense.

A wise decision indeed, with the current status of the team and the amount of potential value if you'll going to weight it up possible
that you will go to the same direction as what MJ will project it by now.
Selling the majority shares and remain to have a decent amount of investment around the organization will give him huge amount
of money.
A good investment to release out after more than 10 years, a projected more than a billion of dollar that MJ will earn here.

Exactly. I am not so sure about the amount. But I believe it is going to be around that region of a billion. There is a big chance if he keeps his share, he is going to achieve a lot less money compared to what he is going to if he does sell them now.

What brought them down though is the poor shooting of the Warriors specially in the last couple of minutes.
They should be clutch, but Curry, Donte and Klay missed very important shots in that span that could have tie the score and maybe gain the momentum. Interesting that Poole was bench by Steve Kerr and decided to go with Moody in that last 2 minutes of the game.
It was a close match till the end and both teams are really eager to win from one another, but the crucial momentum got missed by
the warriors with those shots that might be a game changer if happened that they made it.

But for me fans really enjoy the game, both teams are not giving any big chance of making a huge rally, they keep chasing and keep coming back.
Lucky for those who pick Hawks most for those who consider the ML even hawks was the slight favorite here.

But let's take a look at the fact that Joel Embiid is showing top of the line stats every game. Not just in offense but Embiid is also showing consistency in providing good defense. That consistency help him push his way up on the MVP ladder rankings and put Jokic on a brink of a possible failed attempt in getting his 3rd consecutive MVP award.

I'm more looking forward that the season MVP award will now finally being achieved by Joel Embiid this time. It's been several years since the "Trust the Process" commenced and he never failed to become the only consistent Sixers player to show good performance every season.

At least Joel being healthy right now is pushing for the MVP, last season he is also toe to toe with Jokic until he got that injury and prevented him again to fight for that trophy. Now it's going to be close and indeed have overtaken Jokic.

So it's going to be a close one for this year, and Joel chances are high specially if will maintain his stats.
Wow! Just as the regular season is ending, Joel Embiid suddenly rises and is in a serious attempt to get the MVP. Earlier, I thought this season will be another easy Jokic 3-peat MVP and if there is someone that is getting close to him, I was expecting it would be Giannis. It is also a factor that the 76ers are on a 7-game winning streak which would further validate Embiid's case. 13 remaining games and I think the MVP race is still in contention, I also give Giannis the chance to win especially since the Bucks have the best record in the NBA and it's been performing very well even the time when Middleton is out.

Warriors are reliable at home, but not on the road.
That's true, we cannot argue with that, but we have to understand that they are the defending champions. So, anytime they can win and dominate their opponents. I'm sure they will play harder against Memphis since these two teams do not like each other. It will fuel the Warriors to be more aggressive and confident in winning the game. Regardless of the outcome, I'm sure this will be a pretty good game to watch.

The Atlanta Hawks also beat the Golden State Warriors. Trae Young recorded 25 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists, a pretty good performance. Trae has a lot of work that the team scored.
Curry again scored over 30 points. They continued to fight until the last quarter, but after stealing the ball from Curry at the last minute, we can say that the game is over. It was actually a close enough match to end with a buzzer beater

As usual, the Warriors are struggling to get a win on the road. This trend continues, and it says a lot to us bettors who should avoid picking them when they're away. The Warriors are good at home but terrible on the road, so we better be smart. We should not let our emotions ride with our decision-making, as that would only result in more losses. Warriors are reliable at home, but not on the road.

Well, that 4 game losing streak by the Nuggets really affected Jokic's MVP race.
On the other hand, Embiid deserves it as well as he is performing very well in their last games. It will be a close duel between these 2 Centers on who will be the MVP now that we only have few games left on the regular season. I'd want to see Jokic making history though as the 4th NBA player in history to have 3 consecutive MVP titles. Smiley

Actually, regardless if the Nuggets are losing, if Nikola Jokic was able to maintain his stats, he will continue to clinch the weekly top.

It's hard to maintain his stats if his team is losing.

But let's take a look at the fact that Joel Embiid is showing top of the line stats every game. Not just in offense but Embiid is also showing consistency in providing good defense. Yeah. MJ should just rest and play golf. This may not be his forte as he and the Hornets' management made a lot of wrong decisions in letting go of players that are now better. Perhaps someone better could take over and make this team better. Their record will not lie. 2 playoff appearances in the last 12 seasons. Both lost in the first round.
That's what I think, he's a goat and he could apply easily all of his experience to the team and aspiring and rising superstars. But I guess, it's easier to talk than to apply it. There's really a change that should happen as soon as possible and they should just expect nothing on this season.

While this selling off is already on the news, I guess there have been inquiries already to MJ about the possible acquisition of any one that he's gonna choose that shown interest of taking over.

Once this acquisition is being done, I just hope that teams like Hornets and the others that have been underperforming, they get better on the next seasons.

Coach Mike Brown will definitely win this 2022-2023 Coach of the Year Award.
There's no doubt what he did for the Sacramento Kings was pivotal as they are now the top 2 in the West. The Kings are also one of the top offensive teams in the league. Their defense may not be the best but in terms of offense, they can definitely answer back and forth with high accuracy against another offensive team.
Joe Mazulla is next to him and then Mike Malone.

So it seems like NBA legend Michael Jordan is finally willing to give up his majority ownership of the Charlotte Hornets. Serious talks are ongoing and I would like to see Jordan let go as the majority owner. The team has been failing to perform and is one of the weakest teams in the NBA for over a decade. Maybe the new majority owner can guide the team to success. Now that most NBA teams are capable of competing in the playoffs, the possible new majority owner should be willing to spend more especially since the team now has potential when healthy.

The rumors are out and about regarding the Wiggins situation. I hate to be the one to spill it here, but it is rumored that the personal issues Wiggins is going through stem from his wife cheating on him with his best friend over a long period of time and his best friend being the true father of their children. No idea if it is true, but that is what everyone is saying on social media.
Well, a rumor will still be a rumor until there's no official announcement, but if this is the truth then... Man that hurts... a lot for sure.
I mean cheating alone while being married is already heart-breaking, but to cheat with your bestfriend? If that's the case then I guess it's better for Wiggins not to play in the NBA at least for now because he will just be distracted by this "rumor", and that might affect the whole team.

At this point , Kings wining the West is not a dream anymore right ? I know the chances are low and most likely it won't happen but still , this is maybe the best season they had in the last 15 years of franchise and they do have a team that could go deep in play offs.   Smiley
It's the first time that the Kings got a winning season since 2005-2006. That's a good achievement for the team already.
As for winning the West, I don't think so. Yes they have a very good coach in Mike Brown whose been an assistant coach for the Warriors when they won a title, but we know how experience matters especially in the playoffs. Congratulations to the Kings on clinching the playoffs (for sure they will), but most teams want to face them in the first round because they're inexperienced.

And if we talk about the MVP race, Kia MVP Ladder: Joel Embiid overtakes Nikola Jokic for No. 1 spot.

1. Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
2. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets

However , for me , Bucks are still the best and strongest team in the NBA , followed closely by Celtics who are having another phenomenal season that could end with another NBA final.

Absolutely the best season they have from the last 17 years I say, as the Sacramento Kings last playoffs appearance was in 2006 led by Mike Bibby and Kevin Martin. The 2023 Kings will most probably going to finish with the best record than the 2006. However, there is a huge difference in a regular season and a playoff game. Most inexperienced team that gets to the playoffs are most likely not going to go to the finals. The Sacramento Kings might be one of them, but this is definitely going to be the start of their long journey to get a ring, as long as they will take care of their stars and young talents.

And that might be the thing that's going to hold against them, they don't have the experience in the playoff. So we will see which team they are going to face in the first round. It's going to be a a series obviously, so it's very different from regular games. And we also seen multiple upsets in playoffs. We don't want them to be the new Utah Jazz, very good at regular season and then because of their lack of experienced, they easily lost in a playoff series.

I've seen that news and the value of the Charlotte Hornets are quite high already. But I am sure that there will be wealthy people that are truly interested in taking major ownership of any of the NBA teams. From what I've heard, there's the Saudi prince who wants to acquire an NBA team before but didn't happen. Maybe he's one of the best prospects of taking the leadership of this team and becoming the new majority owner. After this sale, MJ will still be part of the minority for the ownership of this team so, it's just a wise move for him to do it and take profits out of his investment since 2010.

His selling is going to be the best decision right now. Because the team has not been having good performances for a long time. I actually believe if he waits for a long period of time, the performance is not going to be better, actually, the performance is going to get worse over time. So the decision of selling ownership right now is actually good. Just get as much money as you can before the team is worth nothing.

A wise decision indeed, with the current status of the team and the amount of potential value if you'll going to weight it up possible
