is more flexible and always hungry to showcase their talent and skills.

Unlike with stars who already getting old where injury always the factors why franchise are not

Howard way back was once known as superman, he manages to bring the Magic to finals
against Kobe and the Lakers, but didn't manage to complete the title chase.

I agree with both of you. I think he proved that he still has it after winning a championship for the Lakers in the bubble. At that time, he was given more minutes because of his defensive role which is a specialty of Coach Frank Vogel.
In the same position as him is DeMarcus Cousins. He already admitted his past mistakes and has proven to be better during the playoffs for the Denver Nuggets but they just lack players to advance to the next round.

These guys, there will be a chance for them when the 10-day contract opens up. Perhaps, they could use that opportunity to show scouts what they still have.

Age and the transition of how bigs must play in this era.

His age is around 30 at that time. Probably nearing his post-prime years but he wasn't that efficient anymore compared to him when he was still in Orlando. Too bad he didn't win a title at Magic, but he won when he was at the Lakers. I think the main reason why teams aren't getting him anymore is how big players must play right now. Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, Kleber, Jackson Jr., Collins. Notice that most of the bigs right now can at least shoot a three-point shot. This is a big transition for the bigs that Howard didn't cope up with it as he is very awful in shooting threes. Yes, there are some bigs right now who cannot shoot threes like Gobert, Looney and even Adams but they are very efficient to their respective team especially in defending and rebounding.

Howard is already 36 years old and even with that age, he will dominate a league in a country like in Taiwan.

The reason for this is the huge number of choices and rookies are not like before because right now, they seem to improve a lot, I think it is because of their way of playing and their practice is different and they honed their skills early which is kinda bad for older players who haven't been playing well for the past years. They are just quickly replaced by these youngsters because of lots of advantages. Honestly, I don't really believe Dwight will someday leave the NBA to play in another country, Damn! this dude was part of the Redeem Team, they seem to forget it now.

It was a surprise seeing how the Utah Jazz got this great, now that Jordan Clarkson has teammates that would surely give each other benefits and surely the coach has to do something about this great performance of the Utah Jazz, and I think Will Hardy also deserves the credit in making the Utah Jazz like this, and right now their chemistry has surely gone up the roof right now,

That's not exactly true. If you check Howard's stats, you'll see that his prime was 10-11 years ago in his last seasons in Orlando. Whereas 5-6 years ago, Howard started changing teams almost every season since he performed mediocrely. By the way, it's also worth noting that Howard played 18 seasons in the NBA, not 20. Nevertheless, I think he could have played at least another 2 seasons since he's not even 37 years old yet.
Too bad there aren't any teams interested in him at the moment.

Dwight Howard was one of the best players in the league maybe 5-6 years ago (if not even a little further back than that).  I think he's still got enough left in the tank to be helpful to some team, but I'm not sure how much he's got left at this point.  Like you said, 20 years in the NBA is a heck of a long time/career. 

The question for me is, did he get snubbed from the top 100 players of all time (pretty sure he got snubbed from this list).

I wouldn't go so far as to say that Dwight Howard is one of the best players in the league.  In his prime he was an important asset but there's a reason that no team has picked him up yet.  At 37 and 20 years in the NBA he has a lot of wear and tear on him.  Good for him though.

I was expecting the same, an "overtime" if only KD knocked down all those free throws.
Their first meeting ended up almost the same way, a very close game, hardcore defensive competitiveness, and lava-like heat of the game on the offensive end.
Sadly, that's the last and I doubt they will meet in the Finals. Very low chance considering how the Nets have lots of issues, especially with Kyrie.
I like how Luka chased KD at the end of the game and gave him a hug, sportsmanship at its best.

I was also surprised that no one has taken him. One of the best players in the league and then still no team would like to take him. He's by far one of the best assets that any team can have but sure they don't have him.

While another player from another league which is from CBA, Tacko Fall is rumored that will be taking back by a team for NBA. It's still a rumor though.

This season is the 1st phase of their rebuilding and if ever things went horribly, that would just be fine as the goal is to the tank to somehow have a chance to get worthy 1st round picks on the lottery draft.

If Utah Jazz will continue to show dominance prior to All-Star games, they can attract the fans to vote on their players.

Yes they are awful for 2 straight years lol.
They could've kept their line up they have in 2020, but the plan to upgrade turns the other way around.
They are now just acting tough as if there's nothing major with their team's awful performance, especially in the 2nd half.
Davis told the media, teams are still afraid of them. Well, absolutely not anymore.
They're most probably not gonna get near the playoffs if they dont do something with their current roster.

I am not surprised with this season that they're doing great. Every season they're like that but during the playoffs, that's where they're falling shortly.
During the early of most seasons, they're always at the top ranks but that's not enough if they can't pass on the playoffs up to semis and finals. But, hopefully, this time they're doing to make it and many are counting on them. JC is really such a good addition to the team since when he's been with them.

Definitely was a good day, I am still catching up on the highlights. Can't watch them live because of time difference, but watch the 10-15 minute highlights of the games each day of course. Today was ab it crowded of course, and watched a few only but I am waiting for the work to be over and I will end up watching them later on. Seems like there are some teams that still have some trouble.

Lakers are still doing terrible, I am not expecting them to jus dominate or something, but are they really THIS bad? I mean sure they are not great but this is just humiliating at this point, looking at the roster they should be at least somewhere like 40+ wins by the end of the season, and they look nothing like that.

Honestly, I was sure the Jazz's performance would be mediocre after those big trades during the off-season, and I also expected they would be the underdogs this season. It looks like I was pretty wrong about this team since the Jazz's current results are really impressive. The Jazz is not only ranked in the top spot in the Western Conference, but they still have many drafts picks to improve the roster in the future.

Just relax mate and be patient because Westbrook just got his most awaited break after a whole season of being blamed on what happened on the Lakers and criticized on his performance. Just let Westbrook enjoy first, and feel to be praised again about his performance because it's been a long journey for him to get back in this very state, and he need this to restore his form before bringing him back on the starting five.

After yesterday’s 15 game day it seems only fitting that everyone in the NBA gets the day off today. While there are no NBA games today, tomorrow theyre back with a good doubleheader on ESPN. Enjoy the day off. On a somewhat related note, I just saw a video on YouTube (Bigdawstv) where he was giving away money to anyone who knew what NBA stood for. Almost nobody guessed National Basketball Association. Crazy…

That is right! For once, Westbrook did well since he got in the 2nd unit as he can observe more and analyze the situation before he helps the team depending on what they need more, right now, he's like setting the table for the whole team while contributing as much points as he could with no pressure. He is more useful to be in the 2nd unit rather than to be in the starting five, I know we missed the triple-double Westbrook but they already got LeBron and AD to cover that.

If they find somebody that can better fit the team or can space the floor with outside shooting, then they will be better if they trade Westbrook. Right now, what the Lakers need are outside shooters that can give Lebron and AD space inside the paint. Westbrook cannot give that because he is a terrible outside shooter. If he is gone, the Lakers will free up some cap space that can be used to acquire decent role players. That will be a great improvement to me.


Or maybe this is really what they are aiming for and they just made us believe that they are rebuilding. They acquire really great young talents and maybe they have a good coach too that is why they are winning right now. Let's see how far this young talents will take them.

It was one of the best matches I've ever watched. Both teams played great throughout the match, both Doncic and Durant performed very well. It was pretty sad that Durant missed the free throw, they managed to get the last rebound but they didn't attack well and lost the ball.
I would love to see this match go into overtime
