Because as far as I know if the national debt is increased the countries curency is further devalued and as greater money comes in along with it comes greater growth in economy and stock Market as well. I don't know why are you saying absolutely inverse of what always happens. Are there any other economic dynamics that would play some role? You don't even provide us the full detail of what you are trying to say and you can't even get a hold of it. I know the quoted post was about 2019 but still your prediction for it is wrong and what I can see is it is just like a normal day for both the US and Canada.
