I agree with OP's point of view. As far as the current market is concerned, it is unlikely to recover in 2019, and now the blockchain technology is still not perfect. During this period, we still have to wait for a while, so I also think that the bull market must be at least come in 2020.

let me give my prediction, in recent years many companies that support crypto and in 2019 are the year of the rise of the crypto market from the support effects given to crypto and also banks that support several crypto projects. then indeed 2020 will be a good year for cryptoholder because it predicts the value will rise to the moon again.

I have the same strategy with you. I bought some coins and waiting for a long term. If we are lucky we will win the big lottary. If not no problem. Just wait the next big thing..

Things that cannot be ascertained are what happened in 2020 because there is a lot of information that isn't very reliable here. You should hold the type of coin that has the most enthusiasts and is known to many people.

Many things could have happened by 2020.  I want to be optimistic that the crypto bear market run would be over by then and some coins become profitable to their owners. But  I doubt 2020 will ever compare to 2017

I am sure that no one will say exactly what awaits us in 2020. Many experts cannot foresee what the situation will be in a month, what to say in a year or even longer.

BY 2020 there will be no crypto at all. They will all die next year.

if to follow 1.5 year cycle of bear/bull changing situation on market (as we see in 2014, that's almost matches, but more seemingly 2/2),
best year will be early 2021

Although I don't think the bull market will come in 2020, I really have some lack of confidence in the market. In 2017, I have confidence in crypto, but now with the continuation of the bear market, I am confused.

I can't be too hoping that the 2020 was a good year for crypto, but we should still have a plan to welcome from year to year because every year certainly crypto is growing. True or not about 2020 we still can not believe 100% because the digital world it is difficult to predict.

Up to now, 2017 is the best year for crypto. We will not know when the market will be able to pick up again, just wait and see what happens. I predict that 2019 will be another good year for crypto, no need to wait until 2020

I think according to the statistics of growth and development it is reasonable to think that the growth will continue in 2020. Time will tell, think make any forecast need not but if you are here the main task to invest!

I was always surprised when people try to make such forecasts for such a long time. It just doesn't make sense. We do not know what will happen to cryptocurrency tomorrow.

We all looking forward to see the bull run by then but before then we can always have some good profit in this bear market too, having a long term investment is cool too and 2020 might not really be the main year for bull as I think 2021 will be a better year for the bull and those portfolio are good to hold and also be watching and see if you can get other good coin too.

judging by the dynamics, then we will really expect some big market movement in 2020. At the same time, it is still worth keeping 70% of the portfolio in Bitcoin

Many predict that 2020 is the best year for the cryptographic market. I'm not sure that will happen. The market will change a lot. In 2 years whether electronic money exists. Will it ever collapse? I do not want that.

By 2020 all the industry may be regulated, so some of projects could be named illegal and all your tokens will be worth nothing. The is not only the bright side.

I believe that 10% of currenty projects will make it to the 2020. In 2019, when they all will release beta versions, demand would become clear and second wave of crisis will be here.

Now there are very few people in the crypto industry, if taken as a percentage. And very little cash when compared with banks, investments in gold, stocks, etc. When the situation will change, the growth may be the same as in 2017.
