Yes, you are absolutely right. 2019 wasn't a good year for most of the traders and investors, 2018 was full of sorrow. So, this year crypto needs to bounce back strongly and it seems it already started. Bitcoin price was very near to 9600 USD, anytime it can overcome 10K USD in this month. So, yes, we can say this year gonna be a fresh and memorable year for the crypto community!
altcoin prices can go up at any time, the market is still focused on bitcoin, seen by the still high dominance of bitcoin, we just wait until the dominance goes down then to get into altcoin seems interesting

But this doesn't have any strong basis for the entire market to show bullish trend, but with bitcoin alone, it could drive altcoin's market price to soar way up high with the news concerning bitcoin halving that for me, is enough to say that market could be bullish this year.
The way January 2020 enters is really a relieved from what we experienced in December 2019 for we experienced really dump prices but now bitcoin has been stable in the $8000 range for weeks and i hope this will continue. The bitcoin halving may take effect after a few weeks so we may see the effect of halving to bitcoin and other altcoins in the last months of this year so i think we may still see bear trend but i am assured that we will experienced morr bullish trend this year.

I'm a little relieved entering 2020. Bitcoin has touched $8000. Hopefully a good step for the future. 2020 needs improvement on crypto market. Investors and traders will have new spirit and trust if they find good things this year.
This year Bitcoin touched 9.1K and last year 13.2k but total altcoins season isn't charging by this price. This could more fresh than last as last was good than 2018. To change altcoins season, Ethereum price should change. But after all Bitcoin halving and Ethereum POS could start more fresh year. It was noticing that we ended last year at a great price and the flows have continued until today.
$7k was indeed a great price as low last year was around $3k+.. so 100% improvement of the price, or a little bit more. We've been reaching at almost $15k last year,
We just step in at $13K, yeah, its close to $15K but we never see a continued pump, in fact it dump and we settle at $7k at the end of last year. We started at a great price and may we ended it amazing also. Pumps and dumps are still showing but we don't have to worry about cause it will just pass by on and off.
But here's the good news, we have a great start this year and going to the halving, I am not expecting a price that will still be bearish. 2020 could be a great start, who knows, we just have to keep believing and investing so we will enjoy the next bull run.

It was noticing that we ended last year at a great price and the flows have continued until today. We've been reaching at almost $15k last year, $7k away from the price that we have now...This thing will simply mean that the crypto market is still promising though others think of its death after we suffer a huge drop last 2018. I think there isn't problem of improvement or trust. Suppose why Bitcoin price is dump when we know top trusted coin is the Bitcoin. Always supply and demand needs to equal then price could pump. All coin are trying the best to improvement but demand isn't enough. From recent example is Litecoin after halving.

This year is good to start with BTC because now it has reached almost more than $8000k which is a good no of the years 1st month. Also this year the bitcoin halving will give some better impact to the crypto market. Let's see how we all can be benefited from this.
it’s not unusual that Bitcoin now costs a little over $ 8,000. This is a very weak growth for Bitcoin after it has constantly fallen in price. Now you see that it is very weak and now the price is gradually decreasing. there is a possibility that in the near future we will again see a fall in its price to 7 thousand

2020 looks quite promising I think, hope we will see some new interesting projects and new high levels on many coins. And definitely BTC will beat its last high, believe this will happen till Summer 
It is very promising and if you were part of the hodlers that endured the pain last 2018 and 2019 then you have to celebrate and can now a take deep breath.2021 is what we assume for bitcoin bull.

ICO will certainly not be mentioned by many investors because these projects actually only make you more frustrated and if not careful, you will lose a lot of assets in the beginning. Personally, I only invest in altcoins that are well known but will occasionally participate in some IEO projects at high liquidity exchanges. I am not feeling very optimistic about this year. We are almost through January, and Bitcoin is still hovering below $9K mark. Other cryptocurrencies are faring even worse. And the next block reward halving is about to commence in a few months from now. Everyone is expecting a major boost from the halving event, and if that doesn't happen we can expect the prices to go down steeply.
Very strange observation ... probably the first time I meet with such an opinion in this forum. During the year, the price of Bitcoin has jumped by more than 100%, only in the last three weeks the price of Bitcoin has jumped from $6800 to $9000 and you write that you see nothing optimistic here ?!
If so, then you need to look for another place to invest, because here only losses ...
