I think there is a legitimate reason to be worried about the next year because during this one governments have printed so much money that inflation is going up very rapidly in many countries and even if the stock market seems like it is reaching new highs and everything is OK, the economy of the world indicates that tens of millions of people have lost their jobs and those jobs are not coming back because those businesses have closed their doors and there is a possibility that the next year this problem compounds and more people lose their jobs and at that point no matter how much money governments print the economy will be beyond salvation.
This among other reasons are why people think that the world economy is not going to recover that quickly. You can't just control shrinkage by just hiring more people on your company, you gotta make sure that they stay as well. This goes for the world economy too, a fix isn't a fix if it doesn't repair the main problem. And I don't see vaccines as being the repair we were waiting for. unfortunately no one knows what will happen in the future correctly, although technology from year to year will develop and improve its digital products I am sure it will have a direct impact on the price of digital currencies such as bitcoin and others.
It is true every year technology upgrades and every gadgets are improving not only in our economy , i am guessing that 2021 will be good not only in digital currencies but for all of us since the vaccine will start distributing next year and they will start injecting it to people and will be defeat this virus so our economy will start again sooner or later and will be back into normal. In bitcoin im guessing that it will be a good year for it tho, since it was failed into ATH even it broke the highest price but the trading is quite high nowadays and making profit everyday is good to support our financial needs everyday since businesses are close and removing such good employees and i am hoping that it will be good next year and will start our new life again.
We couldn't be so sure about it Covid-19 vaccine has been found and they are saying that it have a high effectiveness so things might slowly go back to normal so we couldn't tell how will it be.
All throughout this year, it brought us nothing but chaos which we begin to lived with all the hardships and uncertainties. No one really knows what 2021 will bring, but I am quite sure that its not that bad as you might think it is, knowing that there are lots of pharmaceuticals who found the cure and will releases the covid-19 vaccine to the market. Having found the cure is enough to give us more strength and Hope for the coming year. Despite the fact that the virus will never be vanish totally, the vaccine will give us Light in the shade of darkness. I agree, the upcoming global recession could possibly so imminent and crypto industry is the only industry can withstand these possible trying times. Although, we cannot make assumptions out of opinion hence the fact already stated - and its the people.
However, 2021 couldn't be much worst than 2020. 2020 is very bad that it even put the world into shock, dismayed and chaos. All sectors were hit not excluded a single person. Whether you are rich, poor, old, children everyone is affected. But what do we expect, if financial market will be hit - lost job, lost businesses and lost dreams.

With the vaccine on the horizon, it's doubtful that 2021 will be worse than 2020. If things aren't already improving, we can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel and have a reasonable basis for believing that things will be improving soon. If there was no vaccine ready for distribution, then perhaps you would have a better time convincing folks that 2021 could possibly be worse.

It doesn't mean the 2021 will be the same as like 2020. Things can be changed and already there has a position sign of getting a vaccine of Covid-19 already. This will change the whole thing. I think it will be the start of that positive economy. The vaccine as they said it is actually done but might not be ready still, there are a lot of medical companies already producing them to be used next year. That is a proof that it would be changing. Another thing is that a lot of countries are already creating their plans to regain their economy in the incoming year.
I think 2021 would be economically very sound. The thing is, all the businesses, jobs are reopening with the new energy. Government will go hand in hand to bloom the economy of world. They have no option but to support each other, their locals, neighbours and create a chain of command to overcome this pandemic.
Moreover, 2021 will have reduced number of covid thus making it more easier for international borders to re-open and re-visit all the agenda's that we left. Money is still there, its just that its not flowing into the market because people are very conservative about it and thats but obvious. If in relation to the Corona virus pandemic that people are thinking 2021 will not be good, they are just very wrong. The virus may not be fully eradicated that could lead to its extinction but the pandemic will become the thing of the past likely in 2021. The pandemic is likely reducing now and with more vaccines, the pandemic will be gone. I believe there will be increase in work force by next year in response to what the pandemic has caused in 2020 in which making 2021 to be good if there will be no another pandemic of another virus or something similar.

I doubt it.
QE is basically on everyone's agendas right now and will likely continue to be in the future. A lot of central banks have been swayed from a hawkish, conservative stance to a much more accommodative and experimental regime due to the effects of the pandemic.
When the vaccine comes out there is no doubt that the fiat economy will rebound. It would be unrealistic to proclaim otherwise.
But I also believe that BTC and crypto in general will have a great year, as they are increasingly seen as a hedge against downturn (further evidenced by this COVID crisis). The fact that institutional investors and even retiree funds are drastically increasing their positions is a great sign in terms of short term returns at the very least. BTC and fiat economy both having a good year simply aren't mutually exclusive.

2021 not looking good? How can you tell if 2021 won't be good for the world? From my personal point of view 2021 will be a year when life return to normal after the long 9months pandemic this year ,i don't think anything bad is going to happen even if I can't tell what the future holds, but I'm hopeful things will get better by 2021, I know the economy of alot of countroes crashed during the pandemic, but I believe 2021 will definitely good cause there will no such thing as covid-19 to hinder their growth. I'm optimistic too for the year of 2021. Pandemic already caused a lot of trouble to many countries in many factors and I hope since some vaccine are already developed and approved, we can go back to normal by next year. I miss going out without having to think if you're still not sick and seeing busy people going to their work every morning.
No need to worry about 2021. I believe it will be a good year. During this one year, have we learned less to deal with Covid? The Corona virus continues to spread throughout the world and forces everyone to adapt to life in the new normal era. so there is no need for financial assistance anymore.

It's not looking good for countries who will have a hard time acquiring vaccine for pandemic these are poor countries or third world countries who will line up after the rich countries get their vaccine, 2021 is a year of building up and the economy will start to open up again the lowest point of economy is this year not 2021.

2021 not looking good? How can you tell if 2021 won't be good for the world?
