Not that familiar with the event/league but I guess I know one with the likes of Eddie Hall (if I remember it correctly). For sure this is gonna be an exciting event and exhilarating one. This gonna be on my bookmark. It's due tomorrow I hope I can watch a live event free from my country.
It seems that he didn't participated in this one but his friends Oberst and Shaw is joining the tournament. I am not familiar with the other names but I think that Russians and Scandinavian strongmen will probably dominate these tournament.

I see clips of this event on facebook occassionaly and I think this sport is not as popular as some known sports like basketball, football or soccer. I spent sometime watching some clips of it and it is somehow entertaining and amazinh how this men prove themselves to be the strongest competing in different types of event. There might be few bookies who will cater this since only few people know about it.

Will there be crypto sportsbooks that will list the matches on this event?

It seems, it is more on fiat-based casinos - https://www.gamblingsites.com/entertainment-betting/worlds-strongest-man/. Better if we can see some top bookies here to list some of the matches from this event.

I didn't see one for crypto betting as well.
Though there might be some bookies for fiat but I doubt there wouldn't have enough bettors. I don't know I could be wrong.
World's strongest man is not new to me I've seen this competition before, but I think there were only small number of bettors for this event just like the wall climbing competition or the American ninja competition. Most of the sportsbook does not offer betting lines for small market.

However, there would always be a betting site or place where these events are very popular.
World's strongest man is not new to me yet this is my first time seeing it here.
Perhaps, this isn't really that popular amongst to crypto bettor but I believe it's not limited to fiat-based casinos out there. It's just that they aren't that very popular unlike to the other sports that we've seen on the Olympics.

My question is, does the Olympic games have a crypto based casino intended for them?
It might be just a fiat-based casino only if there isn't a crypto betting.

with less than 10% of the people around the world who are familiar with crypto, there isn't a crypto sportsbook that will add this event. this isn't done regularly like every week. there might be with Olympics, it's a huge event where every country is watching.

hardly know any of them https://www.theworldsstrongestman.com/athletes/

i was already seeing Hafthor Bjornsson to b part of this but he isn't among them.

The problem with an all round event is regulating any variation in the competition events to make overall results and betting fair.   The stunt moving the plane is possible depends on the gearing and friction present in order to move it, there is a Guinness world record for it so I guess its always possible but I dont know how much they involve themselves with setting recognised standards.   Generally there has to be some body overseeing events to ensure they are valid.   Record is 188.83 tons and was last set in 2009, surprisingly long time ago but I guess it will cost fair bit of money to setup each attempt.

First time for me to see such an event although not new seeing some stunts like that. And what an insane stunt while checking the website as some images show an athlete trying to move a plane, for real lol.

And looks like the event was a big competition. According to the ticket's section, it was already "SOLD OUT". A few hours from now and the event will now start.

For crypto bookies, maybe they will consider adding the event once it was now on the Finals.

so by talking about it we are moving one step forward to having it listed.

Crypto bookies will automatically list an event without relying on talks or requests here as long as it has a good market.

Looks like you have an idea about this as a sharer here. Do you think the event is popular globally? No right answer here. Just a quick view of your opinion on how you look at the event since I see you have knowledge about this.

is this an official competition?
Of course, weightlifting is an official competition, I think it's not foreign to your country, because every year there are Olympics those who participate in the competition such as: Eko, Windy, Erwin, Deni and many others, in the official weightlifting/strongest man competition.

Maybe weightlifting, in your country is not popular, but it's a different story in America and the European continent, it's the most tense sport full of challenges.
you are wrong if you say that weightlifting is not popular in my country, and I know the names you mentioned are the national weightlifters of my country, but the problem is that the competition is very much different from the current weightlifting sport, although the two sports both rely on muscle and physical strength. As far as I know, weightlifting only uses a barbell as a weight with a weight that has been determined by the athlete himself, but this strongman competition uses various kinds of loads for the participants such as lifting barbells, pulling cars and lifting iron balls, I don't think you've ever seen a weightlifter pulling a car as a weight at the Olympics? Nice to see a familiar strong man in this competition which is Robert Oberst, I think this dude is the most wholesome big dude that I have seen on the Internet, didn't see Hafthor's name on the list, what's the reason why he didn't join though?

Bjornsson has retired last year and is preparing for a boxing match with Eddie Hall as this is the thing that's bringing in money at the moment.

I see that this thread has nothing to do with the list you made, because as far as I know there doesn't seem to be any betting exchange that makes the strongest men's competition a gamble, let alone a crypto-based betting exchange, but even so I really appreciate the topic you created, because that way at least I can find out other types of competitions that are not as famous as common sports like boxing, football and so on, and to be honest I don't know much about the strongest men's matches on this topic, and if I may know how the matches are, is this an official competition?

I think it is important to talk about competitions like this on this forum as people who make decisions on what to put on their betting websites, so by talking about it we are moving one step forward to having it listed.

If I look at the sport of weightlifting as well as the strongest man in the world, I remember when Eddie Hall at that time with a record lifting weights of 463 kilograms, half a ton, this is the most daring history I have seen.

In this year's competition I believe the 2021 record will be held by the Ukrainian, namely Oleksii Novikov, I see this time he really wants to do it in the sport of lifting heavy weights, he had already prepared for the competition long ago, starting from Novikov's diet eating healthy food without sugar, vegetables, eggs etc.
I will see how he does in this competition, if, he is able to reach this 2021 record.

Novikov is a beast and could very well retain the title, but the Stoltman brothers are creeping up and I can't wait for what Bobby Thompson brings to the table.

It is incredibly enjoyable to watch the competitions in this event. It is incredibly enjoyable to see how people push their limits while watching. However, I have never been able to follow these games closely enough to bet.

I don't think crypto sportsbook will be interested in listing this sports yet due to its limited popularity and reach. It's a niche game and have a limited viewership. So indeed there's no interest from crypto sportsbook just as yet. Frankly speaking, I have seen few videos in youtube and that's it. No huge media coverage is also available. Hopefully in future we will see crypto sportsbooks to list such games for fun!

It seems like the sort of competition that is difficult to rig with so many competitors compared to some of the random and obscure sports that have been mentioned here. There is a large following in my country and it receives prime TV schedule space. I guess the difficulty that most sportbooks face is being able to get live information if they want to take in-play bets, however they don't need in-play bets if they only allow it up to the start of the event. There does seem like prime territory for a bitcoin bookmaker to step in - someone has to step up to take bets on these very entertaining and hardcore athletes.

I don't think this event will attract the interest of crypto sportsbooks.
But would be nice if this event will be listed on their betting list though.
I am seeing familiar names but not many. Maybe only few of them have gained media attention in the past years.
Maybe this is the reason why crypto sportsbooks is not listing this event, they may not get enough bettors on this category.
