I will be neutral on this opinion because there are good and bad things that happened with Lassiter out for the finals.
One good reason is that, some of the local guards of SMB stepped up like Romeo, Pessumal, Cabagnot and Ross and take note they are shooting threes and good defenders too. They can do what Lassiter can do too.
One bad reason maybe is that the three points of Lassiter can affect the team but like I said, the local guards stepped up in the playoffs and did well in Game 4.

Overall, they are still the same but I don't like how they play in the past 3 games. Full of flops and physicality. Maybe the physicality is considerable but the flops?? I don't think so. Game 4 is a clean win for SMB. No Flops but there are some physicality which is normal already in Finals.

Lassiter's injury is a loss to the SMB team, with him in the floor he can hustle and when he is hot in 3 point shooting, that would make the defense focus on him and that will free up June Mar Fajardo and the import. If I'm not mistaken, TNT has a good shooting percentage in 3 points in the past 4 games while SMB could have improve their 3 point shooting if they have lassiter which is their most reliable 3 point shooter and he is tall so he can help defend and rebound the ball which is in every game they are out rebounded by TNT.

Yes, he is good. No doubt about that. And yes a big loss but not that big. SMB is the most complete team in the PBA that even their bench players are not trash. But even Lassiter is there, it's not an assurance that SMB will now be on 3-1 lead.

It's like saying that TNT is complete trash because they are nothing against SMB if Lassiter is not there.

For sure, even he is there, TNT will found a way to deal with him at any cost.

TNT has the better chance to win the title, but the series are tied and the ball is round so anything can happen. No matter what, these two teams shows great talents, and great basketball here in the Philippines. Let's keep watching and continue to support PBL, and MPBL as well.

We have seen Lassiter struggle from the 3's also but we can't deny the fact that he is also a good defender and there is no off night if you are one hell of a defender. The real strength of SMB is Fajardo and they should continue to find him down low for that high percentage field goal.

It all comes down to JMF after all. When he got the ball, he can see open teammates behind the arc but as we can see there is no one who is deadly in that area. Lassiter is the missing piece for the offense of SMB since he has the highest percentage for three point field goals. It would have been 3-1 if Lassiter was able to play but worry not because SMB got the ref in replacement for Lassiter. LOL!

TNT is really at their current high career peek. Dominating almost every game during the playoffs is pretty convincing. They have a lot of good shooters and then suddenly Jones comes in bringing the current TNT games into higher level.

TNT right now for me is the dominant team because of Jones. If the SMB import or Fajardo can stop this guy. I am pretty sure that this will be an easy win for them (but is currently not the cased). But then again this game finals is really tight because both are pretty strong teams.

Im one of the fan of the PBA once they have game I watch in television I really love basketball. My favorite team from the PBA Is the TNT because I saw them a team work and dedication for winning for their every game that team also have a lot of good player. But the other team also is good but TNT is more better. Many Filipinos have different bet team in PBA depends on what they saw to the game every they watch.

The PBA commoners cup finals is a classic season. These two different teams show their potential abilities and performances in every game. A lot of three point shot that launches by two teams and looks like no one wants to be left. Every game has their own hero. It is a splendid game 4. I hope the series will go far more up to Game 7.

Congrats on your win, as for me i got the opposite as i thought that Junemar will still not be a factor down below. Anyway this is a series and TNT will make adjustment on game 5 and i will stick to my plan to bet on TNT on the remaining games. Nice game, no drama, no flopping until the 40th minute but the referee were quick to act on it (Santos and Jones commotion).

I'm pretty happy with the SMB's ball movement this time. Outside shooters dropping 3's while Fajardo was also moving well and scoring inside the paint. I hope SMB's multiple championship experience will prevail in Games 5,6, or 7 (if needed).

Down to 3 games only, and I think I already saw the pattern of this game, next winner will be TNT then SMB, then TNT, so in short, it will be TNT that will be the champion this season? Would you agree with that?

Nice pattern there buddy but let’s not forget that ball is circle and anything may happen in the court ,Talk and Text is really dominating the championship with Jones in their position but SMB is a former champion and eager to have a back to back so let’s expect a good 3 games here.

I am not a fan of that two teams playing to get champion, but I'll bet for talk N text as champion in this season, I seen the determination of the whole to get the winning championship of this season.
It clearly nobody can stop the the power moves of the talk N text import with help of the whole team.

TNT has the same option as well with Jones, Castro, and various 3-point shooters. It's a matter of who executes well and who gets hot hands on the night.

I can't think that will be the pattern seems the SMB makes just annoy Jones to disrupt the play he needs to do. What I see is a victory for SMB as they have more players capable of winning a championship.
