Despite the win, Portugal's game is still far from expectations. With a squad that's pretty good and has a number of players who play at top European clubs, they should be able to put on a dazzling game. But in the first half their game was very boring. I think Portugal is only shaded by luck.

Beating Spain is not easy for Germany because the Spanish squad in the world cup this time is very strong with several star players in it and not only that. As you have said and seen by many people, Spain has proven itself by winning a lot against Costa Rica in their first match in this world cup. So obviously Germany will have a slightly tougher game than they had with Japan because Spain is a team that is always included in the list of candidates for winning the World Cup.

England were the second best in their match against USA a much hyped team despite parading players from one of the best league in the World infact USA were more determined and organized in term of play, I don't think England will be a threat to any quality squad in the knockout stages, however English stand a chance of qualifying for the next round possibly with Iran or USA as a runner up because I don't think Wales can defeat them with a four goal margin, while the outcome of the match between Iran vs USA will determine the runner up between the two countries, Iran needed atleast a draw while USA needed an outright win.

Germany's move was very difficult to qualify for the round of 16, after suffering a humiliating defeat to Japan. Germany must win their remaining two matches to have any chance of qualifying. Two wins would take it to six points, which could ensure top spot depending on other results. But can Germany overcome Spain? Spain has proven its mettle against Costa Rica.

Mexico is not dead oo. For Argentina to get it's full points back it's not easy. Mexico players are trying too.the way Argentina players played last match was very bad unless they. Change method if not I doubt it for them to win this second leg. In tournament I have seen that big teams have not really done well. If Argentina could not win this their second leg the definitely they much go home. And people will loss today match again. So anyone who is betting should look critically the way Mexico players played football and Argentina and well before betting.

This time all opponents must be watched out for and taken seriously by Argentina because they still have to have points in the group and today Argentina must be able to get full points against Mexico. However, if Saudi Arabia can make another surprise against Poland, whose match is also today, then Saudi Arabia will be in a safe position and qualify for the next round. But I don't think it will happen again to Saudi Arabia, although I would be happy if it could surprise Saudi Arabia again.

Japans standing right now is more than they ever dreamt of before the World Cup started. I think Germany might already be done. After that first performance of Spain against Costa Rica I just can't see how Germany would improve so hard that they might be able to win at least one point. The seven goals also give Spain the possibility to qualify for the next round in case they should be equal in points, but that is unlikely as well. The only way is to win both games against Spain and Costa Rica. There are a number of stressful games and all eyes will be on Argentina and Germany.

Japan does have a good chance to progress to the round of 16 after they managed to beat Germany, I think the head coach of Japan should know it would be very tough for Japan to beat Spain instead of Costa Rica and thus I think Japan will attack with all their might right from the start of the match in their next upcoming match against Costa Rica in order to secure a vital victory. I guess there should be a high chance for the fans of Japan to see their national team winning once again in this Group E clash with Costa Rica.

This year's world cup tournament is unpredictable. Argentina might beat Mexico and once Argentina draw with Mexico then Argentina will go home as well. Qatar goes home early in the tournament. Qatar was very much Happy for first goal they have scored in the world cup, they didn't think that they are going home. But was happy of the first goal... Senegal might win Ecuador in their next game. And once Senegal wins Ecuador, they would qualify for the next stage of the game.

I was thinking of England to win USA but USA was also very good on the field.

I hope that tomorrow Argentina will be able to prove that they are the top team in the 2022 World Cup against Mexico. The first match was very unexpected, but I think they will win their second match with a lot of enthusiasm.

But I'm also curious whether Poland can beat Saudi Arabia in their second match. Saudi Arabia did surprise and seems to be getting excited because the government of their country really appreciates the performance of the team, so maybe Poland will have a little trouble winning that game tomorrow.

Anything can still happen for them but this match for them will be deciding. They need to win the match against them if not they are out and this was the last chance for Messi to win the world cup. I think they will destroy them in the next match and have a chance to pass the group

I think we all know that Argentina needs to get through, recover to make it a really attractive and exciting world cup, a lot is expected from Messi, just like from CR7, I think the whole world's gaze is on these players who are so influential at the world level, I think that some of us want to see Argentina in the final, it is something that cannot be denied, however it is as you say, if they do not win these two games that are left to them, things will be much more complicated, I have seen a lot on social networks bullying that has been done to the dubi, (the porter) at the time of the World Cup draw, he himself was recorded when he said that he played him with an easy team, then this teaches that humility cannot be lost for anything in the world world.

Opportunities for Argentina are of course still open, if they are able to wipe out the victory in the remaining two matches. I really believe Argentina can get up and secure a ticket to qualify for the next round. The battle in Group C will be very fierce and dramatic until the last fight.

Indeed. It is still the first match, everything is still possible. If Argentina can get full points (3 points) in the next match (second match), they are possible to qualify for the next round. But if they fail again to get 3 points in the second match, their opportunity to qualify will be getting smaller. Considering Argentina is a big team, I am sure Argentina can win the next match and get full points. But they must focus to play and must play with their best, Mexico isn't an easy team to defeat. They can get 1 point (draw) against Poland in the previous match. It mean that they may steal another 1 point against Argentina.

Pulisic and McKennie are the best in their team,so far the game is pretty much dead but USA is better and attacking more. England just defending and going for that point that would probobly mean they will go through. England with this gameplay dosent show anything that can say they can win the title

In the first half the attack that Ecuador tried to build was not too aggressive, because there were still many wasted opportunities, that's why I say Virgil van Dijk didn't have too much trouble guarding the penalty box area, but in the second half Ecuador became more aggressive in carrying out attacks, making it difficult for Jurrien Timber, Virgil Van Dijk and Nathan Ake to guard and balance the Ecuador striker.

Why 4 points? I think they can still win 2 wins in the matches against Mexico and Poland later and of course this they have to win because otherwise their chances are getting slimmer.
They are one of the most underdog clubs so it would be a shame if they had to lose from the start.
But on the other hand, Argentina's chances are still better when compared to Germany at this time.
