Here are my picks and predictions for this event

New York Liberty (1.18) VS Connecticut Sun (4.20)  - WIN

The Connecticut Sun has a close game with the New York Liberty and after watching the game early I thought that the Connecticut Sun might win again for the New York Liberty won this time, but sure enough the Liberty clearly didn't want to end it like here it was pretty much interesting DeWanna Bonner and Tiffany Hayes did a great job in making a near win again but this time the New York Liberty now has the upper hand this time, Sabrina Ionescu was wild getting those wins Betnijah Laney and winning my bet with the Over 159.5



Las Vegas Aces (1.15) VS Dallas Wings (4.80) - LOST

This game from start to finish was a solid win for the Las Vegas Aces even though the Dallas Wings have somewhat gotten a little push with the score the Las Vegas Aces still won the game surely even with the Play-offs the Dallas Wings are consistent with this game Natasha Howard and Arike Ogunbowale had a great job, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and A'ja Wilson done a great job in winning this, but I have lost my bet with the Over 175.5,

Both Dominant teams on the West and East won the game and here are the results of my bet and prediction for the games yesterday,

New York Liberty VS Connecticut Sun SCORE 84 - 77 - WIN

It was a close game in the 1st half I really thought that the momentum of the Connecticut Sun would likely not be a break but the New York Liberty forced their way into it and as a result, they got it in the 2nd half it was a close game and both teams did struggle but the New York Liberty, Tiffany Hayes did a great job within this game but eventually the New York Liberty have gotten a great spread in this game Jonquel Jones has a double-double of 13 rebounds and 11 points Breanna Stewart has a double-double of 11 rebounds and 11 points, Courtney Vandersloot got 19 points, Betnijah Laney got 20 points and Sabrina Ionescu lead the team with 21 points,

Las Vegas Aces VS Dallas Wings SCORE 91 - 84 - WIN

It was another close game but still, the Las Vegas Aces have gotten into it again, for sure the Dallas Wings have tried what they could for this game but to no avail they failed miserably, as the Las Vegas Aces won again in this game Arike Ogunbowale have done what she can in order to win but still the Las Vegas Aces still is triumphant even with just 7 players Jackie Young got 13 points, Kelsey Plum got 18 points, Chelsea Gray got 23 points and lastly A'ja Wilson has a double-double of 11 rebounds and 30 points winning this game,

Oh wow, I didn't even know there is a WNBA thread here. 

Losing because of 1 point scored too less is awful, happened to me all the time. I never bet normal under/over on the game but on the team mostly. And I missed out on wins so often because of 1 single point, often because the team missed several free throws at the end of the game.

I agree about A.Wilson, thinking she is in the league for 5 years it's amazing what she accomplished so far.
Her performance right now though will have no impact on the finals MVP voting. Only if she performs at the same level and LV wins the chip she will get it.

Most likely we will see a 1 vs 2 in the finals. LV is as good as through leading 2:0 and NY vs Connecticut is at 1:1 but I think NY will make it.

1/2 again with just a bit of profits. Yes, I bet the same amount on different games.


I just need that 1 more point for the Las Vegas Aces or Dallas Wings, it doesn't matter. In the last seconds of the game, I thought there was a foul after the 3 point made by the Wings where everyone was scrambling to get the rebound. The referee didn't call anything while me still murmuring for a foul to happen. 

Anyway, A'ja Wilson with another 30-point game. No doubt she will be the MVP when the Aces win this championship.
Oh, and speaking of MVP, Breanna Stewart was awarded the WNBA Kia MVP 2023, this is the second MVP she received in her career.

It's a close fight and the other two deserve it too if ever they win this award.

New York Liberty as expected split the win. 1-1 in their series against the Connecticut Sun. Damn, Betnijah Laney was hot in the three-point lane while Breanna Stewart is struggling to find her offensive powers but she made some good defensive help. 5 blocks and 2 steals, wow.

We certainly are on a roll with these bets danherbias07!

Looking at putting something on the combination bets for tonights matches as well.
Think will get another 5-6x odds with putting two together on the favorites again.
Just need to becareful on which ones they have the points set too high or not enough is the trick with these combo bets been doing for this play offs month.

1st game will be starting in 40 minutes. New York Liberty versus Connecticut Sun. This is a must-win for Liberty for they want to be in a position where they will be having trouble trying to climb back and tie the series. 1-1 is the ideal score because 0-2 could lead to a sweep and they want to be cornered like that. So, they should win this but I hope the over will also be hit. I think 159.5 is low so they can take care of it.

Las Vegas Aces on the other hand might get this win one more time. With their rank in the WNBA, I bet they can also make a sweep against the Dallas Wings. But we will see. My over though seems impossible but if the Wings can answer back the offense being thrown by the Aces then it might be covered.

The game will commence at Barclays Center, home of the New York Liberty, In this game the New York Liberty doesn't have any injuries while Brionna Jones has an Achilles injury and is out for this season, and Bernadett Hatar has a knee injury and can not play for the Connecticut Sun, for this game the Connecticut Sun has won the 1st game against the Liberty but for sure the New York Liberty will likely get their revenge in the 2nd game for sure now that they don't have any injuries, so my pick is the New York Liberty, but my bet for this game is Over 159.5

Follow injuries too especially one team's superstars. Like in the season, I forgot to check it and I bet for Washington Mystics not knowing Elena Delle Donne is injured. I think I made a bet twice without her and both lost. But before that, I won a lot of bets for them with her playing healthy.

@rdbase we are on the same results. I won more here in the WNBA than I did in the NBA when it comes to just percentage and not the number of bets because the NBA has a lot of games than them.

And yes, tomorrow morning for my timeline will be Game 2 of both series. I wish they just put 1 game every day so we won't be waiting this long.
I lost my bet for the New York Liberty but I am not giving up on them yet. For me, they are still stronger on paper but they must not underestimate the Connecticut Sun.
But, I did win the other combo so that covers the loss with some profits.
Las Vegas Aces will be difficult to defeat with so much talent on their roster. Dallas Wings will have to put all their energy into stopping them.

There doesn't seem to be any difference than betting on men's basketball as I had put several bets in the past and actually had better success betting on the womens side instead.

Was looking for some matches for tonight but noticed they weren't playing but commences tomorrow night from Sunday games.

Do people really consistently bet on women's basketball.  It seems so difficult to try to predict.  I followed it for awhile and it seemed a lot of variance in outcomes was more the norm, at least against the spread.  Maybe it's because I watch so much nba with a lot of action that seems to hit more than often.  For people that bet, ypu just throw a bet down or do you follow things like injuries, momentum, etc.?

Well, my 1 bet was a loss I should have bet on Over 174.5, but instead, I went for Under 174.5, which is a real bummer sure it went sideways my bet has lost but for sure I will be patiently waiting for the next game and that is on September 27,

For sure from Start to finish the Las Vegas Aces were on the lead but the Dallas Wings were really close for this game to making an upset, well even though the Aces won this game they could not let their guard down because for sure the Dallas Wings will surely get back at them, Satou Sabally and Arike Ogunbowale was a great playmaker that Lead the Aces to victory, for sure Kalani Brown, Odyssey Sims and Crystal Dangerfield all have 10 points, Arike Ogunbowale got 12 points, Natasha Howard got 11 points and and Satou Sabally got 16 points for this game

I didn't expect that much from the Connecticut Sun but they are really good. DeWanna Bonner has always been stepping up her game and doesn't stop amazing us, she just showed how confident she is with her shots and almost everything is sinking in. This is good, the competitive spirit of the New York Liberty will probably be unleashed in Game 2.
They stole game 1 but this will be a long series.

Las Vegas Aces on the other hand didn't fail my expectation of them. 14-point lead, so even those who took the -10.5 spread is now a winner. Luckily, it reached a 180 total score because I was worried when I saw the score in the 3rd quarter. It was too low that I actually surrendered my bet. Dallas Wings made 26 points in the 4th quarter which helped me reach my required amount.

1 upset, and 1 favorite winner. It's getting more exciting. I still wish I could make a perfect bet in Game 2. Congratulations to you too guys.

I totally missed the game for the New York Liberty VS Connecticut Sun but maybe it is for the best because I might bet for the Liberty on this game for sure and I may lose it as well, the Connecticut Sun made a great adjustment and for sure they are getting better on the play-offs for sure and pretty much many though that the Liberty can make a win in this game, but they were wrong for sure but regarding your bet If I am correct it was Under 174.5 for sure,

Yes, I am using a combo because I don't like taking the risky -7.5 only against the Connecticut Sun. This may become a close game so I'd rather take another option.
I like both teams but I do love Liberty more and when their trio clicks, it will be a big problem for the Sun.

I also don't like to take the -10.5 spread for the Aces. Underestimating the Dallas Wings could be a big mistake if it becomes a close game too.

Both games are too early for my timeline so I will miss it and might just watch the replay later or the highlights.

I'm going in full support of New York Liberty here to win the whole thing. I think Breanna Stewart was meant to be there to give them a championship.
New York Liberty may have the most appearances in the Finals but they have never won a ring just yet. I think this will be their time although if the Dallas Wings cannot put down the Las Vegas Aces, it will be a hard-fought game for them.
But, their next battle will be up against the Connecticut Sun, this is also a formidable team and they cannot underestimate them. If I were the Liberty coach, I'd watch that game where Minnesota Lynx won against them because there might be a clue on how they can take advantage of that and win it easily.
The inside defense of the Sun is weak, they may want to focus their offense on Jonquel Jones and let her dominate under the rim.

This game was really a win for the Connecticut Sun and surely everyone really knows who's winning in this game, the game was very dominant for the 1st half of the game for the Connecticut Sun and then a close game for the 2nd half but still the Connecticut Sun was really gone with their Lead on their points, so much the Minnesota Lynx doesn't stand a chance for sure

For sure the Connecticut Sun was way above the Minnesota Lynx, but surely the Lynx sometimes can surprise us with their formidable tactics this time the Connecticut Sun was unreadable in this game looking from Start to finish the Connecticut Sun was always leading, and as you have said there was a time that the Lead was cut short to just 1 point but Still the Connecticut Sun didn't allow them to get that lead that they needed but if you look at every quarter of the game the 1st half was a dominant performance for the Connecticut Sun while the 2nd half was a close one 3rd quarter was a lead for the Connecticut Sun by 1 point and 4th quarter was a lead for the Lynx with 1 point for sure the Connecticut Sun had a formidable win in this game,

We will be having a 3-day break I supposed before the WNBA Semifinals continue the game will start with the New York Liberty VS Connecticut Sun and the Las Vegas Aces VS Dallas Wings, for game 1 of the Semi-Finals,

What a great game until the Connecticut Sun starts to put some gap.


I never doubted the Connecticut Sun but there was a time the lead was cut to 1 point. 26-25 if I remember it right. The Minnesota Lynx do have a good strategy for attacking the painted area where the Sun is the weakest and it worked thanks to Napheesa Collier's effort at bulldozing everyone underneath the rim.
But, DeWanna Bonner got hot, and of course, Alyssa Thomas who always has a great game. I believe she should be the MVP for this year as her stats are on the roof and been breaking records one after another.
Connecticut Sun won by 15 points but all respect to the Lynx because they are the only underdog team who won 1 game in this Round 1 of the playoffs.
Also, it was very lively at their homecourt which I think is a good sign for the WNBA.
