Una see the kind waka wey Lagos governor, Sam Olu dey waka?
From pillar to pole, from church to church and in every ceremony. E be like the guy don feel the heat say Saturday no go just easy for him o.
No be lie say power dey for people hand o.

I dey see the update for twitter oh, I hear say him dey wake from door to door dey campaign and even they ask neighbors to inform their neighbors say him come around come check on them. Nothing person no he see for this politicians hands during campaign, from frying corn to hair plating etc. This Lagos state election no go easy oh. We know say Labour party been win their for presidency but na because if Peter obi influence and not the party itself but who this governor own go be. The candidate no too loud like OBI so I doubt if him go get same turn up as Obi get or maybe frustration form people go give am vote.

Also una think say Asiwaju go allow Lagos commot for e hand now wey him dun get the presidency. Una think say him go dey greedy and wan secure that bag as well or him go just allow make things play out as them do so eye go comot him side small. Sha make we dey watch. Asiwaju wise sha so I go expect am to comot hand finally for Lagos. If him still put hand then e go show him stupidity and fit make people para then come for am. Well them say him be jagaba so make we dey watch as him go play the game. Anyways as una dey common go vote on Saturday, make una dey very careful abeg.
As a political analyst, I do not forecast anything like a powered shift in Lagos as a matter of fact, Lagos state na still one of the APC strongholds even though the labour party won Lagos in the last presidential election but with just small margins, some scenarios won't play out in the coming governorship election.

-Just as we speculated and suggested during the presidential election and going in line with what uchegod-21 said, the only time PDP and LP will have a formidable ground against APC is when there is a merger between both opposition parties within the state.

-Check the history of past elections in Nigeria, the only time a rolling party is defeated effortlessly is only when there is a merger between two or opposition parties to form a strong alliance, be for the 2015 general election ACN, ANPP and the rest merged and transformed into APC which was able to defeat the rolling PDP then.

-If nothing like that happens before Saturday, I am afraid the opposition parties will have a tough time in the coming election,  and the succestheyre recorded in most states in the last election may not repeat itself in this coming election.

I think we all know the reason behind this postponement but you think say e go get any effect on the outcome of the election on the 18th of March like people go lose interest or more people go dey interested in the election, within you think? Bare in mind many people postponed their business/events because of the previous election date.
Despite the Independent national Electoral commission postponement of march 11th Governorship & States Assembly election, I still believe that people will still come out in mass to vote their choice candidate, Obviously things are gradually changing as regards to how people did come out and voted during the last election. People are sick and tired of bad government across the states of the federation and wants to make sure their votes counts in order to vote out these bad leaders, no matter all efforts to suppress citizens from their rights to vote.

The track record of Obi is impressive, but what can others show? In recent TV interviews, the labour party's candidate for the Lagos governorship hasn't lived up to my expectations, there are some blunders that show he doesn't understand the job, Jandor has a very nasty history that won't help him, and Sanwoolu is the godfather's pet. Unfortunately, I have never been a fan of Tinubu since 1999 and may never be.
Success is a process and Peter Obi has started this process of operation show full working in terms of governing the people and has laid this good foundation for other Labour party candidates, governors, senators Reps and House of Assembly members to follow suit base on his track records, So whomever that finds himself in the party right now, if corrupt before will likely adjust to the standard that Obi has put in place.

In some places, this postponement go make some people come out for voting while in some places some people don already lose interest in the election.

Wetting me I de see be say, some of us no de satisfy with the presidential results, that is why them go try come out to cast vote for their candidates of interest in this gubonotorial election because if them no get the president wey them want at least make them get better govonor wey go help them.

The postponement no go get too much effect on the outcome of the election because even before the postponement, many people don already they vex based on how terribly the February 25th presidential and National assembly elections take go, imo it was a failed election because all the promises wey INEC give us, e no get anyone wey them fulfil, INEC promise say results would be electronically transmitted, but them no do am, coupled with many other promises wey them fail on.

Having said that, many people fit no turn out for the Gubernatorial and state houses of assembly election based on say them no like as INEC take conduct the earlier election, but the three major political parties wey be APC, PDP and LP they try encourage the electorate make them come out come vote for their party's respective candidate, INEC don also promise say them go make sure say this election they better than the earlier one, i no know if Nigerians go believe them, and there would surely be mass turnout, but e fit no they as much as the February 25th election.

If na Lagos state election, I believe say Tinubu go put him boy there because na Jagaban na e dey in charge of putting Governor for Lagos state. This one nobody fit change am only God,especially now wey e don rig him presidential election through INEC,na so Jagaban go take rig Lagos for him boy
No just think so. This year's election and previous years election no be the same ooh..  Election must change hand for Lagos by force. The kind obedient movement for this election no be here.  For Sanwo-Olu to campaign seriously this time for the upcoming election, suppose tell you sae water don pass garri for em side. Em boss wey be Tinubu lose for Lagos, talk more of am.

The strong candidate wey all eyes and hope d for na the labour candidate, there's every tendency sae em go pull weight for the Lagos state election. Na why d  d try pull am down in one way or the other.

The major reason why some likely won't go is because of what in the presidential election results but one other thing that would have affected the coming election is Students returning back to School which has been postponed to 21-23 of March but only few will vote still.

I beg to disagree. If he couldn't win Lagos for himself what makes you think he can win it for another person... Is it because he's the political godfather of Lagos? He might have been the king's maker of Lagos state in the past but I can tell you that the times are changing and people are standing up for their mandate. APC lost Lagos to LP and they would lose again if the election is to be conducted in a free and fair basis.

As for Rivers State,I see say Wike na the only and last Don for there and I don hear so many harsh manners wey he dey use carry out the rigging. This make me still dey believe say he fit still use oppression rig the election for e boy Fubara. We just pray make peace dey on that day of election because na power these people dey fight for and not for Nigerians.

2. The CBN governor and the president has refused to say anything about the supreme court judgement for more than a week of the new notes.
Do we need Buhari to come and tell us to start spending the old Naira note ? When the Supreme court that is superior has extended the date. Nigerians go get dread lock for head if na wetin them dey wait for before them go start to spend the money. The last time Buhari said something about accepting only the old 200 naira note, the court hasn't judged the case,it was only adjourned. Secondly, Buhari used his number six,let it not be that he is going against the supreme court and added old 200 naira to show that he also considered there power. This time the case has be judged in the present of Emiefele,so what does Buhari who only have only two months to go against the supreme court. Omo this time if e try am,I swear down when he commot for power them go choke am.

The disposition of President Buhari after the election has been so annoying. Accepting the result of the election after seeing a lot of the abnormalities

From wetin me observe for this whole matter, na the court case of Peter Obi/Atiku and INEC concerning the inspection of ONEC sensitive materials and BIVAS reconfiguration be the main reason for the postponement.
Now concerning Rivers and Lagos gubernatorial election, I dey see big fight for those two states. First be say, the status quo may change in Lagos but Rivers State is too hard to predict. Make we see as e go be sha.... but make every omah stay safe.

This could be true and also it may not be, as we all know the court has agreed that INEC can go on to reconfigure their system provided the back up the history of the concluded presidential election and ensure it’s not tempered with.

We know by now the electoral system isn’t genuine and that other isn’t as easy as it sounds I believe the gubernatorial elections was postponed to by inec time to come up with something to cover their tracks.

INEC has disappointed all Nigerians, there was a day I bin dey go out nd in di Keke pple bin dey tok sae dem no go vote 4 naija Elections again bcos of weti INEC do nd di worst part bi sae dem do throw away dia voters cards. 4 Lagos nd Rivers States me I prefer labour party 4 Lagos while PDP 4 Rivers. Because di present governor is di won who order di military to kill di Nigerians youths in di #endsars. And also Desmond Eliot should be removed from state House of Assembly to go act Nigeria Movies.

That is my opinion for the whole Gubertarial Election for these two major commercial States. Go and vote for ur prefer candidate. I dey see sae political withdrawal is coming very high among citizens.

The election wey dem shift seriously caused aparty but me i understand there points. I feel also say the thing don reduce people ginger. Had the election taken place a week after the presidential elections I know say many sitting contestants for don pack their bags comot.

As for Sanwolu in Lagos firstly make I clear the air, him talk say no be him order that massacre during endsars and if you look am him no get that power because na only one political office holder fit order that thing and an him be GCFR himself but the reason why people Dey vex for am on top the matter be say na him talk say no killing happen and why na now him Dey comot to talk about the thing. I strongly believe say him biggest rival na LP party candidate but the PDP will definitely split votes. Had LP and PDP join forces together then they might have a big advantage to APC. APC votes might be coming from a tribal point of view and that is why they are inciting the tribal conflict that other tribes wants to take over their state

As I dey see this photos self I come understand say lagos don get another gubernatorial candidate for pdp wey no be Jimi Agbeje. Jimi don too much hold the ticket. Wey be say Fashola won him, Ambode won him too and Olu won him. ThankGod new person don enter.

But for overall,  I don lose interest. I no go travel and I no go vote after wetin INEC do, e dey obvious say our votes no dey count.

The country's politics are being dominated by sentiment, and our choices are becoming irrational. In my opinion, most of the Labour Party flag bearers never thought they would be where they are, and they have not proven themselves worthy of their positions except for the sentiment of their supporters. Na better job you just do Sir "CryptoprenuerBrainboss", by creating this thread and given us a specified thread to yen our discussion ah eh dey hot, because no doubt say governorship election for Lagos and Rivers go hot come 18th of this month, because just as Wike dey plan to rig Rivers election for Sim Fubara & Magnus Abel and co no go gree,  na so Tinubu dey plan to rig Lagos election for him boy go Sanwo to go second tenure, and yet Labour Party dey really pull weight for that side.

But shah, here are the major candidates contesting in each of those states shown below

If I am to predict both state governorship election outcome I will say River state will slide into an APC state if PDP losegard their stance since Wike is leaving office for a new elected person, the power tussle for a seating governor that is seeking re election is far different from when the governor have finished his tenure and going out of office,  so the PDP aspirants will have to work double hard to be able to beat the ruling party.

-Lagos  may remain APC as the party in Logas have to prepare ahead since the already know what is at stake and how LP outperform APC in lagos with a small merging, APC in lagos will ride on Asiwaju winning to accomplish their party re election bids.

On another similar thread, I took my time to give 5 similar threads as well as the reason it should not continue (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61866085)
About the postpone election, I think pressure is now on the government and Tinubu is threatening Obi to step down. It is very crazy to see the disposition of President Buhari and also the recent public advice to support that crooked president elect)
