As per the vote, most members think it will be above $70k, and that means who are going to at least double the price that we currently have. And realistically it's possible, just like in the last bull run, we went as high as $59k if my memory serves me right with the whole Elon Musk manipulation.

So we will see, we have one source to begin with, which is the Bitcoin ETF that could really bring a lot of money in the market.

Not just money but institutional, so it's going to be very huge in my opinion.

I think realistically bitcoin price would play around the region of $50k-$59k on January. But, in order to achieve that goal, first bitcoin should start strong in January like trying to touch the $50k level, otherwise it would stay around $40k level.
The months left before the halving may not make enough impact for bitcoin to start pumping just how bitcoin performed in the last few halvings, so I guess $50k would be considered a higher range for bitcoin to reach.
The post halving will most likely going to be a huge pump that could potentially breaks another ATH.

2022 was a bad year for Bitcoin. 2023 is the recovery year. And Bitcoin hasn't fully recovered yet. The recovery process will definitely continue into 2024. It helps that 2024 is also a halving year. That will play a significant factor in the recovery especially in the late part of 2024, which is when the effect of the halving starts to fully sink in.

It also helps a lot that hype is built around Bitcoin thanks to the big traditional finance players like BlackRock that express interest to join the market. And since something big in relation to this might happen early in the early, I think the whole 2024 is a very good year. $100,000 is a realistic target.

confident at 70k and above , that is a good indication that people are very positive in what will be coming next year though there are some uncertain because the 4th year cycle seems to be 2025 and not 2024 , but at least we will be having that above the former ATH?
wondering what would be the price in second quarter as I am planning more to invest again?
It stands to reason that it will be able to reach $70K and above, although, as you said, a 4-year cycle will occur in 2025, where there will be an increase, which could be significant if it reaches $70K in 2024. I think there will be an opportunity before the future halve, where there will usually be a correction before it finally increases. This is, of course, an opportunity to be able to buy for investment.

I feel like something around 50k's would be decent enough. Not saying that it will reach there or won't go past that, I have no idea and none of us do and we just speculate, this is just a speculation. However, I do feel like there is a possibility that we could see that happen. This is the reason why I believe that the best we can do at this moment would be considered as something that would not make sense all that much. So we should be careful about it, and not really see it change all that much.

50K levels are decent for me because it is not that far away, we are really just about %20-30 away from it and that kind of increase could happen in a year, specially when you consider that it will be the halving year, so we could definitely go up that much.

Bitcoin price peaked at 44K at the end of 2023. So it was a small bullrun, which led to a limited increase in Bitcoin price.

Yep, it was a limited increase. I didn't even quite triple in the calendar year.

Maybe it will only triple in 2024. That would only be barely over $130k. A small bullrun indeed.

Maybe 2025 will be limited to only tripling too. Less than half a million dollars per coin. Pathetic.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin price peaked at 44K at the end of 2023. So it was a small bullrun, which led to a limited increase in Bitcoin price. 2024 is the Bitcoin halving, so every halving bitcoin price increases to its maximum value. I think Bitcoin price will stay between 50k and 55k in 2024.

You should organize a betting pool, even if the participation fee and the prizes are small for the best predictors, because it would incite people to do their best in order to predict a relevant price instead of posting funny and non-sense expections for trolling. Actually I think BTC price will be lower in one year, because it just made +150% this year, and because transaction fees are very high. So I expect a 20-39k range for the price at the end of 2024. I chose the 30-39k one though.

Forecasting the price is not a noble thing, of course, but I voted for the option above 70k. My expectations are based on halving, I believe that this event will soon be mentioned in all major media, which will give a good boost to the price and an influx of new investors. The current dynamics at the moment look positive, If no negative events occur over the next two months (for example, a hack of a large exchange, etc.), then such a scenario is quite possible.

I voted for $50k-$59k and I think that's just a safe prediction. Of course I want to see Bitcoin go $100k by the end of 2024 but I think that we'll see that on 2025. But if that ever hits before the end of 2024 then that's a good thing since these are just predictions and we're not obliged to predict it very well or be accurate with it. I just want to take some safe assumption although the one that I have voted is quite high as well and that's even near to the past ATH that we've seen. That's why a ten grand of increase for the entire year of 2024 is possible just as what we've seen this year and it's more than that. So, after the halving, we're expecting it to rally that much and can blow up its price again.

If we apply the previous pattern, it's possible to reach and surpass the ATH by the end of they year. But simply extrapolating the past into the future is never going to work all the time, it's also important to think deeper and analyze the conditions and mechanisms. I believe that the growth will be slower and slower with each halvening because majority of the coins has been already mined, so halving an already small number won't change much. Miners don't have as much selling pressure as they did in early days. So it's also quite possible that the price won't touch the ATH in 2024 and the peak of the next bull run will be not much higher than the previous one, maybe it won't even surpass $100k.

I couldn't find any reason to think Bitcoin will drop or we will see dump hence considering the factors like Bitcoin halving and the way Bitcoin has performed I expect it to breach previous ATH and race towards $100,000. Even though I am bit skeptical about the $100,000 but Bitcoin might reach new ATH.  I have chosen $70k plus in the voting.

But w can always expect the unexpected stuffs from the market hence the above mentioned statement is my personal opinion and not an financial advise because I may be wrong.

2024 will be a whole long year with many crypto events most especially the much hype or say anticipated ETF which will play is own part on causing a pump but I don’t base my assumptions on that. I still believe with the way the pre halving period is pumping hard and as such I expect the post halving period to be higher than this and so yes a new all time high will be reached, I will vote for $70k plus from your pool because I speculate bitcoin doing a 200% increase from the current support level of $40k. But all this are subjected to the overall economic conditions because other governments policy are going to affect it too. Things like exchange collapse if it  is large exchange also will affect the price of bitcoin negatively

I voted for Above 70k+.

Or at least we would see a new all time high, or get passed the previous at $69k. As for what could be the new all time high, obviously, everyone's target is above $100k conservative estimates, but I don't think that we are going to hit it in 2024 yet.

So going to be a great year to us, if the cycle or the pattern continues 2024 will be the start of the bull run right after the block halving. We might not felt a initial surge, but once the bull pick it up, it's going to be a great and massive run again just like the previous post halving years.

I’m bullish and positive about the market trend by next year, Bitcoin will surely shock the world again.
There are reasons to hit the peak and I’m confident that we will witness a new all time high by next year and altcoins will also have the same faith. Invest more now while you still can and enjoy in 2024 when taking profit starts, its just a matter of time to witness $70k and above with Bitcoin.

The question is about the end of 2024, but the most interesting thing is bitcoin's journey throughout 2024, where in April there was an important event to trigger a bullrun. Halving is one of the fundamentals that allows a bullrun to occur in 2024, plus if the SEC approves the ETF then the price of bitcoin could explode even more than the previous ATH. I'm getting $70k more for year-end pricing, but it's highly likely we'll see prices above $100k.

This 2024 is the year to price base above +50k, that has been difficult, in fact maintaining +40k is something significant since it has not happened for almost two years and having a few weeks holding +42k is a good omen...and in fact if everything continues in the direction of positive effects, (ETF Approval) January has the flavor of starting to sustain over +50k. As for the ATH, these levels will be reached in the last third of the year 2024... $75,000 +

In 2024, bitcoin price:

Above $50000 ✓
All-time-high high ✓
Six digits (above $100000). 90% likely.

On your poll, I choose above $100000. Having is in April. United States SEC would have approved bitcoin spot ETF. There would be United States election which I know the market is always mildly bullish at the time. I am expecting bitcoin to reach $100000. $170000 in 2025.

2023 was a Consolidation year in the best possible way we arrested the decline and rose well.   Positive to end the year we had alot of up and down along the way and a few doubts imo.   I think it was a good year to buy on but we only recognized this as more obvious coming into December.   30k was only definitively defeated at Nov start tbh.
My Poll question is quite simple how do we develop in 2024, explosively upwards perhaps, a more sedate incline like this year, flat or is it all negative from this high point; a repeat of 2021 high tide mark going into 2024 is of course possible.

Poll rules,   votes alterable now & for 31 days then no more votes or changes.   Feel free to take January entire as as a bellwether for the rest of the year, December 2024 is the predictive BTC price in question

Heres a longer term weekly candles graph.   Fibonacci and 200 week in yellow and 50 week in blue.  I will only especially comment later in the month & on the MA later; monthly bars might be better over 5 years but I think people prefer weekly as more relatable.
