Here's some statistics. It is average DAILY price range of Bitcoin:

2010: +0.82%
2011: +0.76%
2012: +0.26%
2013: +1.11%
2014: -0.25%
2015: +0.09%
2016: +0.22%
2017: +0.66%

If it will continue to grow 0,42% a day, btc gonna hit 250.000 in 2020!

the rate of rising won't remain like this and low. it will rise up and become bigger every year. as you can see this year with the increase in adoption and all the SegWit news we have had a huge rise and it is not even slowing down.
that is why they call it an S shape rise, and we are still in the early horizontal part of that S and not even close to the sharp vertical rise!

No, this is false for many reasons. See, many Bitcoins have been lost. At least 1,000,000. Furthermore, Satoshi owns 1,000,000... that brings us down to 20,000,000 right there.

Then consider many early adopters have thousands of Bitcoins. Take out all of those, then the big billionaires and companies investing, and you are left with far less people who will become millionaires.

As the rich cash out those bitcoins will get redistributed to other people throughout the years.

In the future bitcoin will become more expensive and being well off will require less and less bitcoin, we could even see a future where having a single bitcoin will become so incredibly difficulty only the most wealthy will be able to do it or long term hodlers.

Tom, I expect more from an insurance salesman like you.

We all know that owing 21 bitcoins doesn't make anyone a millionaire. At today $1300, one would need 760.23076923 bitcoins.

The fact that people keep thinking about it terms of being a "millionaire" is a clever way to make people feel good about their 20 or less bitcoins. If you all want to become millionaires get out there and earn you money, and then buy bitcoin with it!

Don't you just wish Bitcoin is still at $1300 per Bitcoin?

Or 210 millions if price for each bitcoin will pass $10 million. People would have only 0.1 BTC to win. But chances for this are low during our life. 1 BTC is more realistic because we won't need to wait long time.

At todays price { $2159 per Bitcoin } you would at least need to own 463 bitcoins to be a millionaire. How many people do you think can claim

that they still own 463 bitcoins? I know some 3rd world countries have a much weaker currency, so they might become a millionaire in their

currencies with a lot less coins.  Wink ..... I know some early adopters are multi-millionaires in their currencies.  Grin

I don't think there are or will be so many millionares. The total amount of available Bitcoins is not spread equaly and only smaller number of people is holding the majority of coins others are just sharing the crumbs. So they can only dream to become millionares but.that is actualy not going to happen.

$21 Trillion USD is a lot of money to the general public, but it is chump change to central banks. That's because they've printed out over 10 thousands Trillions USD before. The terrorist organization Federal Reserve intentionally didn't record them down in their record books.

I do not agree with you here. The figures are not so shocking. Because the dollar is much longer than bitcoin

The price of bitcoin only needs to be $47,000 for 21 BTC holders to become dollar millionaires. At this rate, we'll see $47,000 within the next 5 years, probably 6 figures by 2030+. But people can only think in linear terms, so a lot of people will keep selling along the way, which makes 21 bitcoin holders even rareer and their chance at becoming rich increase. Notice how most people are in shock about the fact we are about to hit $3000.

Now, if you are talking about 1 BTC = 1 million $, that's another history. Still possible, but would take a massive influx of capital to enter the blockchain. Anything is possible tho.

I've made lots of mistakes regarding btc.

Sold when I shouldn't. Bought but not enough...
But I made one rule for sure! You keep one btc at all time Wink

And damn I'm happy I kept this rule and this btc ^^
Thats a good thing for you that no matter what you do have 1 bitcoin on your wallet and its sad even myself couldnt able to buy or earn directly on just 1 whole bitcoin. history would be made if the price of bitcoin would reach a certain high amount that we cant even ever imagine on our entire life  Cool Thats why i still strive to save bitcoin as much as i can since i do already know the potential of it on the future.

That's true if everyone have 1 bitcoin, but i'm sure 80/20 rules also applies in cryptocurrency world. But 1 million USD for 1BTC is still too far, let's hope scaling problem resolved soon and we might see $10k
