The price of bitcoin only needs to be $47,000 for 21 BTC holders to become dollar millionaires. At this rate, we'll see $47,000 within the next 5 years, probably 6 figures by 2030+. But people can only think in linear terms, so a lot of people will keep selling along the way, which makes 21 bitcoin holders even rareer and their chance at becoming rich increase. Notice how most people are in shock about the fact we are about to hit $3000.
Now, if you are talking about 1 BTC = 1 million $, that's another history. Still possible, but would take a massive influx of capital to enter the blockchain. Anything is possible tho.

The fact that people keep thinking about it terms of being a "millionaire" is a clever way to make people feel good about their 20 or less bitcoins. If you all want to become millionaires get out there and earn you money, and then buy bitcoin with it!
People want to become millionaires through bitcoin, and for that the price of bitcoin needs to go up, I don’t know if bitcoin will reach that kind of high value but the price is going to keep increasing and with it the chances for some to become millionaires thanks to bitcoin. And I agree. In order to take advantage of the Bitcoin growth we need money -- fiat money at that -- to buy more Bitcoin. However, I do appreciate the fact that this seems to be just another day-dreaming which can be a free form of entertainment anyway resulting into more savings haha.

If 21 million people owned 1 BTC each, it would actually be worthless.
Bitcoin needs new users and needs to move to actually have a value.
But I see what OP is saying. We might never see $1million BTC but its definitely worth owning some if you have the ability.

You can stash just one satoshi or 100 bitcoins. That doesnt really matters but the Bitcoins are not going to be distrubuted equally between 21 million people, some of the blockchain users will have more than 1BTC, some less than 1BTC but still that will work differently.
I guess that the bitcoin price will really increase a lot in next 5 years, but we cannot say that only 21 million people will get benefits from it.

The distribution of bitcoin is very skewed at the moment. My guess is that there are less than 100K individual holding more than 1BTC, with many holding more than 10 or 100. There won't be 21 million millionaires... if 1 BTC=1million dollar (?)

i think 60 years later when the bitcoin supply has capped to almost the 21 million, if there are at least 21 million people holding a minimum of .95 btc each, they are millionaire. lol it is true if the bitcoin is good for development.

This is true that even 1 bitcoin can make us rich because the price is keep rising and reaching even more. maybe more than 100K individual holding less than 1BTC, because we don't know for sure how many people is using bitcoin in all of the country. if there is really 21 millions people that become millionaires, then its really still small people that become a rich person in the earth and i think that people is really happy to know that now they are a millionaires. with many of new people gets involve in bitcoin world, i think the real people that is using bitcoin needs to re-calculate. and like what 7788bitcoin said that if 1 BTC = 1 million dollar then there only few people that will hold bitcoin and not 21 millions people.

What's he's trying to insinuate is that there are millions of dollars to be made and in the future there will be 21 millionaires made from Bitcoin due to increasing value and... well, whatever else he thinks is going to happen.
