so, any update on the status here?

says will end tonight at 9pm CST.

At this point, I am the only one to publicly make an offer for the full quantity.
Others have mentioned they wanted a small quantity, but not made an offer.

Looks like sniping.

@Michail1, if you want to purchase them as you mentioned and can possibly meet the OP's required amount or work something out with him, I can also take care of picking it up for you the group or whatever, I am not sure where you live, but if you are coming into any of the NY airports, I can pick you up as well, just let me know.

thanks!

Yeah, unfortunately no one seems to have bid at the minimum of silver spot price. I will likely end up liquidating the silver at a PM dealer in the city :/

Well I can meet up with you to buy any amount of rolls for members who want them here, as I am there already.

I would personally like a few rolls myself, so you can PM me with any details on where you might like to meet up etc.

thanks!

make me an offer i cannot refuse and ill take the whole lot.

Heh.

Basically, you just need to make an offer for an amount he wants or higher.
I just threw in an offer below what he wants to take into consideration as I said I would take the entire lot.

At least making an offer starts the line of communication and/or to show interest.

Dogedigital - since you're close to the area, it's possible a single purchase group buy is feasible with you picking up the lot.
- You will not pay anything in taxes in the USA since they are being sold in New York (there isn't even the question of the sub $1k tax); however, duties to bring them to Canada would be up to customs.  A coin or two if fine, but they might notice/charge for 200 troy pounds.

And, if I purchase the entire lot, then I would have no problem selling off up to 25% of them at quantities of 20 (maybe less) at the price I paid (plus actual shipping).  (Giving others the ability to still get them; however, in this case, I would want payment in BTC to avoid issues like paypal scams).

I am still interested and will watch the thread.  Smiley

If I buy, would you mind picking me up from the airport?

I am also interested in buying a few tubes possibly, and live very close to NYC, so if you want to organize anything id be happy to help out.

(and i can pick you up at the airport Smiley lol )

thanks!

I'm interested in the same. Any idea how much a pack of 20 + shipping and customs to Canada would be? These are definitely some interesting coins.

It varies in Canada from province to province what the tax rate is. Theres no GST because .999 silver is considered a "financial instrument". Also a neat tip, don't ship metals via UPS or Fedex internationally. They charge additional handling fees and will from time to time charge you import fees that don't actually exist.

Not to steal your thread OP, I just figured I'd share in case you haven't shipped metals internationally before.

Can you please pm me where in new york you are?

Also if you have any idea on what custom charges might be bringing it over to canada?

Would love to buy just one of them. Grin

Count me in for 1 too. Smiley
Me too.  @OP, if this auction doesn't go down, please consider selling in smaller (collector) quantities!! Smiley
i will take 3 as well

Would you guys be interested in perhaps ordering 20 at a time? The coins are currently stored in tubes of 20, so that would make it relatively easy for shipping. Trying to avoid shipping/packaging 1 or 2 or 3 individual coins.

I would def.

Sending pm. Cheesy

thanks

Cool coins.

I liked that the design is pretty simple.

If you are willing to sell 10-15 units of this, let me know, as I am really interested in buying.
But I can not offer you for the full pack of 2400, as I can't afford buying all of those.
As I said before, I really think that you could have a much higher profit if you sell them separately  or at least at packs of tens.

Waiting forward to hear from you.

I understand you're looking at a minimum bid at spot; however, I would like to add something just to sub to the thread.

I would be happy to make an offer. Since your example is in dollar, my offer is:

2400 @ 14.50 = $34,800
I understand that I would pay for shipping.  200 troy pounds shipment with insurance is an expensive.

Of course you want more and should probably get it; however, it's my offer to get some more clarification in the thread.
Who minted the coins and/or any paperwork on the weight and silver content?

Where are you located? (More specifically where would they ship from?)

If close to me, we can walk into the bank together and transfer funds instead of escrow.
Basically, you should give a little more info as to if you're only accepting dollars (cash or bank money) or bitcoin, etc.
If you're close to me, I would raise my offer since shipping wouldn't be a problem.

Last thing.  The original post says 2500 coins, but the example is 2400.
Does this mean you're accepting offers of various quantities?  If so, many will want to know the minimum they can purchase.

Thanks for making your offer, Michail1 Smiley

The coins are located in NY and will ship from there. Can accept USD bank transfer or BTC.

Apologies for the 2500 typo, 2400 coins is indeed correct and the total amount avail. I suppose the lowest # of coins I could accept a bid for would be 20, because the coins are currently stored in tubes of 20. But I'm much more interested in selling most/all the silver rather than earning a premium on 20 coins at a time.

Also, regarding where the coins were minted: We worked with the Golden State Mint to mint these rounds. They have a very strong reputation in their space and can confirm the authenticity of these rounds. I can also provide order forms from the time of purchase as well.
