I like what happens when bitcoin starts to spread more and more with each day and month and a news like this is great. I also saw in La Liga a huge ad to a new sport-casino and let's not forget when dogecoin sponsored a car in nascar and it was great so cryptos have a history with sports.
Italy has been one of the pioneers of cryptocurrency adoption. I guess this type of news might affect other football clubs to consider accepting crypto too. Very interesting.. but not surprising. Cryptocurrency adoption is rising at formidable rates. I expect more and more of this kind of big transactions happening in the future. Heck.. I've paid for some speakers and cables with bitcoin just a few days ago. Crypto ERA is coming!!

lol i doubt a soccer team has any value at all. they must have done that just symbolic to try to say everyone its valuable,

Not the first actually. There are already facts about selling tickets (for crypto) to the football matches with help of blockchain and some other examples around football especially.
It looks mostly not like something good for crypto community but rather for a 3rd league football team as it will bring more attention to them because of crypto hype.
