I absolutely agree with having the choice to either do auto or manual bets. In my opinion and from a player point of view, it is always better to be given options. In thus manner the platform which have these features accommodate for both types of players, thus maximising the number of customers captured by their platform.

It's a good idea to let the users to select whether they want auto bet continues or not when they move to other tabs. And I think as long as the option you said does not exist, it's better if the auto bet continues. Because in this case users can easily pause the auto bet if they don't want it to continue. But those who want it to continue have to not move to other tabs.

this is done on purpose - so that you control your balance (when playing for real money, this is very important), leaving the page, you may lose your entire balance and not know about it if the automatic game continues without your participation

Instant withdrawal is a feature that almost all of the gambling websites have. Even if the withdrawal fee is zero, the lack of instant withdrawal is not justified. I am sure every one withdraw some bitcoins from this website and have to wait that long time, will no longer deposit any amount to the webstite.
There are many gambling websites that withdrawal from them is as fast as withdrawing from personal wallets like Electrum and coinbase.

First of all not every casino and exchanges charges withdraw fees. For example Fortunejack never charges a withdraw fee and neither does Gemini exchange. As long as you don't abuse the withdraws in anyway like making 100 withdraws a day you won't get issues.

Also not every casino or exchange has instant withdraws. Many of them need to be signed manually if they keep all customer funds in cold storage. For example, Bitmex the largest Crypto exchange only does manual withdraws once a day. All customer deposits are sent to cold storage and kept there, they use multi-sig from various owners of the exchange to create the transactions and they broadcast them once a day. Nobody has complained since they never got hacked due to this method.

You reminded me of how I used to gamble in about three years ago when I was very new to gambling and cryptocurrencies. That time bitcoin was very cheaper and I could afford to put 0.3-0.4 in gambling.
I made some manual bets and I won some bitcoin. Then I thought I can easily win. I used auto bet to win faster. But the result was always losing.
The problem was not with auto bet. Auto bet only causes your bets to be made faster and as a result the gambler lose the whole balance faster.

playing manual or auto doesn't change anything if the site is provably fair
it only depends on the seeds you have and the numbers you choose, not the way you are betting
maybe the problem is not in the mode but in your betting patterns?
if you lose most of the time betting auto , try setting different strategy or change the limits
many sites allow to have stop loss and stop on win or after reaching a certain profit
