americans are still banned on participating ICO unless if they are accredited investors although they find other ways to invest their money but it would be good if their government allow its citizen to freely participate in ICO.

It would make absolute sense since it is supposed to be the land of the 'free'
If getting the perceptions, well yes they are called the land of free and for sure they all have different ways how to make themself free from this,
for sure some of them already inside this market, if its illegally they are taking the risk, we knew their supremacy so it makes sense if we assume
that they already here and playing around the market.

The survey only indicates interest for them to be legally join this particular investment venue.

LendEDU survey:

25% of Americans know about ICOs

15% of them plan to make investment via ICOs!

15% of 25%= Around 3.75%

https://www.initialcoinlist.com/how-do-americans-feel-about-icos/

What study is conducted that you've concluded about that? I don't think the crypto is even mostly adopted in the US, even here, few are believing about the worth of crypto, in that case, they didn't know more particulary what an ICO is.
ICO still has a lot of problems with SEC compliance and the only way for them to do that through use the 3rd party service but it's still impossible. I thought that will start to learn it but I can't even believe with this survey.

Derive from the current america population even a mere 3.75% is consider a huge market for crypto to absorb. If the 3.75% really goes into the market most probably we will see a new high make.

I think this data cannot say it all. Most Americans are only interested in profit when that ICO project is truly potential and can help them earn good profits. I often do not trust these things because the market is currently in a downtrend and many new trends like IEO and STO will make ICO disappear in the future.

ICOs are still going to be the future but scammers need to be under control from authorities. Surveillance on them!

I don't think it is allowed for Americans to invest in ICOs. They have very strict rules and Trump is a man of punishment. I hope for all Americans to have an opportunity to invest in ICO if they want it, it should be a decision to everyone which risk they are willing to take.

This is the major problem with all the surveys, they just take a small portion and come to a conclusion that the entire population think like that, the more number of people taking the survey these numbers will change drastically, either way if you like it or not you are not able to invest in any ICO if you are from the US and if you overcome those restrictions there will be some problems when it comes to paying tax and being transparent when you are filing your income.

Americans are ready, but ICOs are not ready to invest. In addition, it makes more sense to choose the safe STO created by the SEC. In any case, 3.75% of American population is not small number, and and it would pleasure to us that these figures are correct.

Honestly, I am not interested in the USA for the ICO Market. Recently I have seen statistics that many ICO came from the USA and they are in the top position but still, the USA is not a well ground for the crypto market. I would be much happy if I see China and India accepts bitcoin widely! If somehow the USA goes to accept it widely, then the crypto market will be very large!

Agree on that but still USA could be huge for ICO and crypto in general. Banning crypto but yet giving gun to anyone who wants one Smiley

3.75% is a really big population of USA is 325.7 (from 2017) so if they will do it then big money would come to ICO market and maybe it could survive but i dont belive it.

That's too bad since all decent ICO-s ban US members from participating.
Sucks that the land of the free is the first to ban people from taking advantage of something new and exciting.
I'm sure they have their reasons but US members will likely confirm that it's not cool.

I hope that after America has a good view of the ICO, it will increase ICO investors like last 2017. And I hope there will be a platform that oversees ICO to avoid a lot of fraud

i think are good percentages , it seems that many americans are informed about the topic of ico, but i think that the percentage of those who are willing to invest will fall dramatically when the kyc will be mandatory

These surveys are usually wrong. If even 1% of them invested the market would jump up by a few billion. 3% would probably take us above the last year's ATH.
Don't take it serious. I'd like it to be true and I wish the market all best but there's a big difference between wanting to invest and really putting money where your mouth is.
