Anyone in for a bet? I bet I will make grand final - tyKi, you gonna lay this???

Well, I guess you will miss at least one future tournament in this series due to hangover and maybe another one for some other reason (probably a female reason Grin). This leaves you with only one opportunity to collect some more points. And since Globb0 will win tomorrow, you can get 9pts max, which might not be enough to make it.

And then you will get dsq'ed anyway, because you didn't pay the fee for tournament #5 (to yourself^^). So, I'll take any bet Cool

LOL - yes, it was but not like this... the guy with 0 pts joining the hater party, jeeeeeeeeeez!  Roll Eyes Cheesy
Maybe, but at least I played in the grand final already Smiley
Granted it was for a bout 3 minutes, give or take.

It really does feel like "home games" and I am really happy we managed to pull that off here in the forum.

I can't believe how SOME PEOPLE here are making fun when it comes to my poker skills - tyKi & co - you guys know very well... that if there wasn't any luck involved...  Cool
I would be without a single point.

Idea was to finish your sentence, correct?  Grin Grin

Anyway, just joined, only 7 of us here at the moment.

We will be more by tomorrow, I am sure - to be honest, I feel our numbers in this series have been pretty good, especially when considering that many regulars have been missing lots of games. And when reflecting even more, it's pretty exceptional we have become such a big group of people meeting up every week for a paid game, isn't it? By now, it really feels like "home games".

I stand with Ukraine.

Just a quick reminder, I still didn't win any tournament in this season!
~

If by that you mean that it's time for you to take at least one first place, keep in mind that I haven't won a single qualifier in all 4 Series! So, I have the right to expect one or two wins too.  Grin And I'm sure I'm not alone in this position. As I said, a fierce combat is coming. Be prepared!  Cool

@Improved, @arallmuus and @Iv4n look pretty safe,

Well, I think 32 is enough to qualify.
Now I can play the last 3 tourneys just like any normal 1K buy-in tournament . I mean, no need to pay additional 400 chips.

If you mean you can play in other than Bitcointalk Poker Series' 1K buy-in tournaments, I disagree because:

1. you can harvest more lottery tickets(they are ripened and waiting for labourers! Smiley )

2. the fun we get out of playing in our Series worth additional 400 chips.

Finally! This topic is not the same without your stats man! Thanks for awesome stats and comments!

Just a quick reminder, I still didn't win any tournament in this season!

especially our bigmouth and host @efialtis, who always is a lock for the Grand Final at the start of every series according to himself, but so far he wasn't seen at the Champions table.

This could finally be his moment with 15 points if he keeps playing for the rest of the game and score some points  Tongue

Well it looks like it's now or never for Efi!

Lol spreadsheet points are fine. My time is stupid limited this week, i managed a few minutes just to put placing in last night.

I'll adjust positions tonight when i snag a few minutes. Sorry folks, just a lot of long days at work this week, and was playing from the highway on Sunday.

I didn't mean to hurry you, or anything. Sorry if it looked that way. I just thought maybe some mechanical mistake was made, and wanted to help to correct it. Also, I really allowed the possibility of me missing some new rules. Smiley
Thank you very much for what you are doing!  No one has the right to hurry you, we can only be grateful. Smiley

Hi Poker friends Smiley

I saw you were a bit impatient with @Steamtyme, so I updated the sheet and stats.

The ranking after 5/8 tournaments played:

@Improved, @arallmuus and @Iv4n look pretty safe, the rest still has some work to do, ~

I agree. Having 29+ points at this stage almost guarantees the place in the Grand Final. As for the rest of us - a fierce combat is coming. Smiley

Theoretically, even yahoo, Trofo and FOMA could end up in the top 9, if the following scenario would materialize:

And this applies even more to others, who take higher positions currently.

So, anyone, literally anyone, even someone who hasn't play even a single game yet (@MICRO and @-CryptoViking-, I hope you are reading this Smiley ), still has a chance to get into the Grand Final.

Hi Poker friends Smiley

Its always nice to see you and all of this spreadsheet and stuff

especially our bigmouth and host @efialtis, who always is a lock for the Grand Final at the start of every series according to himself, but so far he wasn't seen at the Champions table.

This could finally be his moment with 15 points if he keeps playing for the rest of the game and score some points  Tongue

With @Improved doing so well in this series, he now tops this category, but @arallmuus was able to climb some places as well. @yahoo62278 still Top10, although he left the series for a long time and his short comeback for series 4 didn't result in any money finishes (yet).

Didnt know that I was doing decent with 8 times but most of them probably was either 3rd or 4th spot  Tongue, In terms of prizes Bitmutiny should be on top of the list because he got the 1st spot alot of times compared with the others

Come and join us on the table this week Tyki although its abit late but you probably could be getting the ITM spot Tongue

Hi Poker friends Smiley

The most loyal players:

Unfortunately @Trofo skipped the third tournament of this series and we are down to two players who joined every single tournament so far. What was the prize again for the last man standing ? Wink

Point finishes:

@Betwrong and @Improved top this category with @Iv4n going strong with 5/5 for this series. @figmentofmyass and me are fading a bit here unfortunately.

Money finishes (based on Top4 as always):

With @Improved doing so well in this series, he now tops this category, but @arallmuus was able to climb some places as well. @yahoo62278 still Top10, although he left the series for a long time and his short comeback for series 4 didn't result in any money finishes (yet).

Average finishes over all series:

@famososMuertos jumps into Top3 right away, but the sample size is still very small.
@kolloh is slowly but surely improving his average after not being able to get anything going in the first few tournaments after he joined the series. But recent results show that he got to know the players and their style better by now.
@Hhampuz and @Steamtyme have rather bad averages with 10.8 and 11.0 - they either do very good or exit early-ish.
@Globb0 is on a little streak with finishing 14th place three times in a row. His results are kind of "funny" anyway: 14-2-18-16-16-2-12-17-2-14-14-14, so either bad or second place. Hope you will get your first tourney win asap, that stream is amazing Smiley

The Lottery:

Atm there are 2 prizes á 8.600 chips each for the lottery. As a reminder: If you paid the extra chips to efialtis, but do not join the tournament, these chips are considered a donation, unless you request a refund, which you can still do now, if you want those chips back. But for now, they are donations and go 200/200 towards the Lottery & Grand Final.

Some screenshots are a bit blurry, sorry for that. Good luck everyone for the last 3 tournaments of this series and then also for Grand & small final & Lottery Smiley

I just checked on the spreadsheet, and it looks like something is wrong in  placing players in this table:

Or, am I missing something? Smiley

The points should be fine, only the order of each place should be updated. I guess this will be edited in the next few hours. Tongue
The same issue with the right order was seen last week aswell. Smiley

Every weekends on Sunday but there are only 3 more games to go for the 4th series before The Grand Finale ( Not sure if we might have the 5th series ). Anyone that has bitcointalk account are always welcome to join this.

You might not get enough points on the last 3 games for the Grand Finale, unless you managed to get atleast 29 / 30 points on 3 games but you can still join and win some chips. The prizepool is decent, 1000 chips buy in and all goes into the pot ( extra 400 chips needs to be sent to efialtis on swc ) so there are decent of prize if you managed to get into ITM spot

See you on the table if you decided to join  Smiley

Thanks for the detailed info m8, I will most likely join at least one tourney before the series end to get a feel for it as my countryman @Trofo suggested. I will PM you on TG for sure, jut to make sure I don't mess up something when it comes to transactions and joining.

Thanks for the encouragement and a nice welcome @Globb0 and everyone else. I might drag more people here that love Texas Holdem  Smiley

You won't regret - these games really have become sort of a regular meetup between friends - who would have thought that before we got the games going but yeah, that's how things developed. Smiley

Only that I am still waiting for iv4n‘s invitation to meet up and play at his place...! And more importantly, enjoy some food and drinks!  Cheesy

Nice to rewatch.
At this part it was a "Shove or Muck" game to be honest.
Everyone was shortstacked and everything was possible. One double-up and you were on top, but in the end it turned out to be TykTok! He kept calm and played very well.
Congratulations again! Smiley

You did great yourself, mate. Look at your number of chips, compared to mine, at this point:

and you managed to finish ITM, while I was knocked out in the money bubble. So, congrats, I guess. Smiley

dang, can't believe i missed 4 weekends in a row! life has been crazy lately. even if i manage to play the last 3 qualifiers, i'll need a miracle to get into the final. no worries, i'll at least ship the runner's up tourney. Wink

You've been missed big time, mate! Hope to see you at the tables next Sunday. Smiley

Guys, if you don't have time for watching the whole video, I encourage you to watch the final part, which is just a bit over 20 minutes. I would call that part "The rise and rise of TikTokLyfe", and I enjoyed every bit of it, even was replaying some moments. You can start from here:

Notice that TikTokLyfe is on the fourth place,  with only 10 BBs, and we all know how the tournament ended! Smiley
