We are 4 days away!  Cool

Nice work like always mate! However, correct twitch channel name is: Globb0

@Globb0 do tell me the key to accelerate my marble in advance this time, it's painful coming last. Cheesy I thought it was a simulation game, never knew player can control his marble.

I stand with Ukraine.

Please everyone check your numbers and see if everything is correct.
~

I just checked all of them.

Everything is correct. Meditation on numbers is a great psychotherapy - you really can't think of anything else. Smiley

OK then thanks for that instructions.

I will propose to draw the lottery 30 mins before the start of the big games. OK?

It's perfect, mate!

Although there is a scientific consensus that your winning in a lottery doesn't affect your luck in a poker game 30 mins later, we gamblers secretly believe, somewhere deep down in our hearts, that if we lose one thing, we are gonna be luckier in the next one. So for us it's a win-win situation: we either win in the lottery, or going to have more luck in the finals.  Grin

This is a summary of each Q and the points that were accumulated after each qualifier (Q).

A simple "congratulations" may summarize it all, but I wanted to extend it with this express summary of the history of this season 4, before Sunday, October 25, day of the grand finale.

It's good to have found a little poker window in the crypto world here in the forum, however, when you like poker beyond a prize money or a first place, you know that an online game between A group of people with whom you can share any kind of comment after that game, it humanizes the game a bit and I think that makes this series special.

That I have not earned anything but I wanted to say these words  Cheesy

Trofo Not only did you kill 8 players (the answer was late but it is worth the feat to comment again) but in reality the difficult thing to repeat, at least for now in the Bicointalk Poker series, is that in just two plays you got half. There is a saying in poker that from time to time we get God mode, well now there is the Trofo mode  Smiley

tbh, i'd rather donate the 0.0028 BTC i overpaid in fees to a one off or monthly forum game like Globb0 wants to organize:

Im also thinking of running a bigger 1 off free roll or low stakes forum game, perhaps monthly?

I also had a mind about a few prizes but that is the type of tbc stuff.

Might depend if people are prepared to chip in for or donate prizes.

given the value SwC is adding to the series championship, i think it'll go further there. hopefully none of the finalists mind! Smiley

Yes, sure, though I am not involved, so don't really have a say. But if you see no one opposing this idea, just do it at that time, I will watch Smiley

Here are the prizes I calculated on top of the BIG BTC ticket, hope this is correct.

The Chips Prizes for Grand Final

Place  Sponsored by SwC   From Chips Pool
____________________________________________
    1          25,000          13,500
    2          15,000            8,100
    3          10,000            5,400

The prizes for small final will be 5,000/3,000/2,000 for the Top3 as always.

When everything is said and done (and sent^^) 237,000 chips were paid out in total in this series.

Series 1: 310,000
Series 2: 224,000
Series 3: 257,600

15.38 players joined the tournaments on average in this series. We "lost" four regular players (figmentofmyass, SyGambler, BitcoinGirlClub, myself) from the series before and two new (seek3r, famososMuertos) joined for this series. I might give my comeback for a possible 5th series and figment too I guess. That would make it around ~19 regular players, which is a good number to get two tables full every Sunday.

I am not really sure if I would want you to join us - betrayal, bad manners towards me... Tough call...

Finalists have been registered:

wow Trofo, good Job yesterday, that was very impressive!!

@ efialitis: I can´t remember that we had a runners-up finale in the past, is it the first one?
The 10k chips are sponsored by SwC?

I sucked this series so hard, but I´m very happy to be able to play that "losers" tournament next Sunday Cheesy
Thanks again to everyone who is involved in the organisation, especially to you efialtis!!!

Do you already know when series #5 is going to start? It literally became something like a traditional habit to my Sunday evenings.
I love you all guys  Grin Grin <3

I think except for one time, we have always had a runners-up finale and yes, the 10k chips are generously sponsored by SwC. Smiley

Regarding #5 --> I will post updates in our general poker discussion thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-poker-night-sportsbet-private-game-exclusively-for-forum-members-5217547 (whose OP still needs to be edited/updated, LOL)

Yes I will be up for that (with a bit of help as to the how)

Cool Smiley

Hhampuz was using random.org for series 3 and you might want to use that one too. Just put min 1 and max 1670 and start to generate:

Source: https://www.random.org/

In this example seek3r would have won (congratulations Grin) and all his other tickets are voided afterwards (#0593 - #0694). So if you generate f.e. 611 next, you check the ticket numbers list and would have to generate a new number for 2nd prize, until a non-void number shows up. You need 3 non-void numbers in total as there are 3 prizes.

Also I think why not start the stream a bit earlier maybe 1 hour before the 2 finals.

We can play some marbles, draw the lottery and run through some stats and graphics and things from Famosos Muertos

Will be awesome.

Ill be working on some more special content as usual to keep it fresh and fun.

Good luck everyone (who stole my finals place!)

Cheesy

*edit edit* I commit there will be another series and or some other single games

If @Hhampuz is ok with handing the draw over and everyone else has nothing against it, I thought it would be cool, if @Globb0 could do the lottery draw live in his stream, maybe shortly before the Grand Final next Sunday. Only of course, if you are fine with taking this huge responsibility as well Globb0 Grin

That'd be great! If Globb0 wants to do it I'm happy with it and will for sure tune in Smiley

Awesome! Smiley This will be a great intro for the final and runners-up game!

Thanks tyK! Hope to see you and foma back in next series ) Tbh I'm trying to follow your playing style mixed with Webendo by webtricks lol as we were often playing on same table in the previous series. And of course your trivia is always interesting to read. So you deserve Most Intelligent Player

I think he hates everyone lol, he has been knocking everyone out so far. Globb0, webtricks, pitkins , Betwrong, Mollok, Bitmutiny, Me and you . Jayce is the only one left and the only player that managed to survive all those all in heads up against Trofo. Everyone lose against Trofo in all in showdown

I had pocket J and Trofo had pocket 4, turned out he had a straight. Can you even imagine that to happen? I was smiling when I know that he only had pocket 4 and this could be my chance to double up because I am in favor to win but yeah he is lucky

If this is a bounty knockout tournament, he would be getting alot of bounties so far for knocking everyone out. So far he had knocked out 9 people, 8 from the final table

Edit : Jayce down , Trofo knocked him out. Congratulations Trofo
Yeah that moment between you and Trofo was the most shocking one in the game. Congrats Trofo, you was a beast yesterday lol.

nice job taking down the last qualifier, @Trofo. great performance in this series by @jayce too, racking up those cashes. Smiley

i'm bummed that i missed yet another week with you guys. i was all geared up to play this weekend (was gonna play some sunday guarantees too and throw on @Globb0's stream in the background) but then another last minute work call came in. i've just now touched down ~1000 miles from home. Roll Eyes

i hope SwC hooks us up with another series because i totally shit the bed on this one.
Thanks foma! I have a great luck in this series Smiley Yeah I hope there will be a next series and see you and tyK on the table again.

For this series, we have two special awards given out by a jury that consists of just me:

Most Improved Player

This award goes to jayce/NoobHere Cool You really had great results this series and this is no fluke as the results especially in the last 3 tourneys show. You also won your first tournament ever and jumped quite some places in the Money Finishes list. Well done Smiley

Most Valuable Player

This award goes to efialtis/youcantwin Cool Without you, this series wouldn't be possible, but this is not the only reason you get this award. You get it, because you add so much fun to this series with your big mouth....Grand Final missed again, although you were a lock for this right from the start. I think without a wildcard you will never get there Grin

The rankings after 8/8 tournaments. Gratz to everyone who made it into the Grand Final Wink

I have also updated the stat sheets, where everyone can have a look, if interested. We still have two players (morvillz7z & Betwrong), who never missed a tournament, thats stamina and dedication Cool Betwrong now has a little cushion on Obaming in point finishes, who himself is leading the pack in money finishes. Murat still has the best average finishing position and I doubt any of the regular players can take his place in the future, unless he decides to join a tournament again in the future Cheesy

@Steamtyme

I have slightly different numbers for the lottery (or the updated sheet has).

123 entries and 12 donations (you missed the one from @Hhampuz yesterday), which leads to these numbers:

1670 tickets were given out in total (440 via points, 1230 via just entering tournaments), and these are the numbers for all the players:

Improved: #0001 - #0114
Iv4n: #0115 - #0236
jayce:  #0237 - #0358
arallmuus: #0359 - #0476
Betwrong: #0477 - #0592
seek3r: #0593 - #0694
morvillz7z: #0695 - #0803
bitmutiny: #0804 - #0880
kolloh: #0881 - #0975
SteamTyme: #0976 - #1068
webtricks: #1069 - #1168
efialtis: #1169 - #1244
Hhampuz: #1245 - #1330
1r0n1c: #1331 - #1415
Globb0: #1416 - #1508
famososMuertos: #1509 - #1559
Trofo: #1560 - 1639
figmentofmyass: #1640 - #1650
yahoo62278: #1651 - #1670

Please everyone check your numbers and see if everything is correct.

Thank you mate, the stars really aligned themselves for me yesterday.

We had runners up finale in 1st, 3rd and 4th (this) series. In first series it was played on different day and in this last two series it is played at the same time as finale. Only second series was without runners up tournament.
