Since I have been on slush never seen a lull long this. Current round duration: 1 day, 3:06:46. Has this happened before? Seems too long between rounds.
Edit: The lull just past. That was a long round. Glad it is over.
It happens sometimes, even on Slush. For example Slush block #22525 took 1 day and 4 hours (29 July 2014), block #21844 took 1 day and 53 minutes (19 Mar 2014), block # 22072Edit: The lull just past. That was a long round. Glad it is over.
took 1 day 5 hours and 22 minutes (12 May 2014). But then there are the quick blocks that take just a few minutes...

^ it seems like it throws everything off. Now some of our normal miners will leave and in a day or two the big hopper will leave and those others will still be gone, then they will come back...so it will be awhile before we get back in a good groove again.

1 more question lol. I have an s3+ and an s3 running. Combined hash of from 950 mh/s to 1020 mh/s. However, performance drops off to around 840mh/s after about 5hours or so. Quick reboot and we are off again. Any way I can script in a command to automatically reboot after say 4 hours or so? 
If you haven't already done so, try setting the minimum difficulty to 256 for both, and leave for a few hours to settle down. On my S3+s this gives a much better result than letting the pool do it dynamically. Rebooting should not be necessary. November 22, 2014, 05:17:46 PM

Noob question, but what is a "reasonable" round duration; current one is taking forever, but is that normal every now and then?
Yes, it is normal every now and then. Just have to grind through it. It could have been a lot worse. We have found 3 blocks today. Yes, we are a little behind. At present difficulty and hash rate we should find one every 5 hours and 5 minutes STATISTICALLY. It doesn't mean we will.
Occasionally, we go an entire day without a block. Today was not bad. For the month we are doing good. For the last 7 days we are doing very good. Look at the luck for 1 Day, 7 Days and 30 Days. 100% would be approximately 4.7 blocks every 24 hours or 141 blocks in 30 days.

Anyone else noticed the jump in pool Hashrate ?
What's the concensus --- is this poolhoppers or new hashpower ?
That has been steady to ~10Ph/s for the last few hrs, so I'm certain to a reasonable degree they are here to stay and not hoppers!What's the concensus --- is this poolhoppers or new hashpower ?
Having said that, I can not see the supposed luck they could have brought with them as we've been at this block since forever!
The extra hash power never seems to translate into quicker blocks, does it?

^ we were doing good till that large hopper showed up...I'm sure the same guy from before. Never fails we get in a good groove and some large hopper knocks us out of it.....I think he stayed 3 days last time.
