And again the road to the 8 hours ( or more )  without finding a block. Sad

I wonder if shuting down the miners after the average number of  daily block have been found is not a better deal...

I just mine elsewhere once luck hits more than 150% - and come back when luck starts to trend to 80

Yes I've already thought about switch pool when bad luck, have you noticed a real gain doing that ?
Ps: as soon as I spoke about slushpool, they found a block ! But still under 75% luck right now...

It's a gamble of course, but given how we expect 100% luck over the long run, I've made quite a bit on PPS pools and then switching back when I feel it's time for a run of good luck.

Scoring time is 1.5 hours, so with 100% luck for slushpool at around 1.5 hours as well odds are in my favor to fully "ramp" up the scoring hash rate by the time a block is found after I switch the miner back.

Edit: example - i switched 50% of my hash from slush to a pps pool a few blocks before the 8 hour block. In that 8 hours, I made maybe 2.5x what I made on Slush in the same period.

Hello everyone,

Could someone possibly help me with JSON stats in Slush Pool?
Maybe smb knows what does Ghashes_ps mean? Is it Pool scoring Hash Rate?
And if it's not, how can I find in JSON stats the following data:
- Pool scoring Hash Rate
- Your (My) scoring Hash Rate

Thanks in advance!

Merged Mining?............

Just read on Twitter about Slushpool putting substantial hashing power into RSK merge mining.

Never read anything on the site either about doing that. Maybe someone could enlighten me/us.
Wanted to make sure I was not missing out on anything....lol

I got one question for this pool... I know when you switch pools you loose all your shares that you have submited - right? But what happens, if your miner goes offline, and you dont submit shares for certain period of time? Does that count as starting from 0 again, or you are continuing from where you have left?

And does this pool have PPS paying out system? If it does is it possible to get payments AUTOMATICALLY like once a week? Or something like that.

I don't think the pool offers PPS.

Because of the size of the pool if your miner goes offline you stop receiving a portion of block rewards after roughly  1.5 hours. Same as when you start mining your scoring hashrate takes a while to reflect your miners actual hashrate.

You can set auto payouts to an amount I don't think they do a set day and time of the week.

Ok, so I have a setup of 40 miners with 3 other associates...

We have agreed upon taking out the profit twice a month

But as it seems, you cannot send a specific amount to a BTC address, rather than just send the whole balance after it crosses the payout...

Can this be done? I am saying this because I would not like to pay the txfees (I know they are kinda low, but whatever you can save, its better)

Not sure what exchange you use, but I use quadriga CX, and they don't charge a fee for withdrawing BTC from their wallet. So I send their and then can forward it accordingly after I decide what to sell/hold
I get what you say, but this does not say anything about my original question... Is there a way to withdraw a specific amount of balance in Slush's pool?

There's none. If you're in one of the Coinbase supported countries, you can set that address to to receive the payment from Slush then to Gdax, then split it however you wanna and click the Send button.

Edit: doing it that way, you can save on the TX fee. I mean, TX fees are a joke these days anyways...

avalon 7 user here, anyone else manually adjust worker difficulty?
I have both Avalon 721 and 741's. I just let the pool set the diff.

Slush pool sent out an e-mail earlier this week stating the pool servers would go under maintenance and the dbase as well. Usually the mining is not affected but you will see the wrong info at the website till everything has updated.

Yeah, but after the maintenance was over, all was the same, I noticed the drop in hash power and workers state today.
In anycase, as I was out of ideas, I logged into the miners again and on the configuration screen, I just re-entered slushpool stratum address >> save and apply and in 15 minutes the Slushpool dashboard showed workers as active.

Quite a weird case, I hope I didn't lose a couple of mining hours like that.

Guys, a little help will be appreciated. I have 2 S9's connected to Slush, so far they have been working with no issues. As of 2 hours ago, I got a notification of miners being offline from Slush pool dashboard. I went to check the machines physically, they are all green, they can be accessed via IP, also ping in their Network diagnostics works fine.

However Slush dashboard still shows them offline with has power of some ridiculous MH/s.

Anyone experienced something similar before?

.0014 daily for a single S9 from BTC.com

How's yours at Slush at this luck? Had to leave Kano, I need to make quick BTC so I can get some altcoins at their dip Tongue

0.000116882 average per terahash in the past two weeks.

But past five days has been horrible, 0.0000747 per terahash

Jeez, that's horrible. Somebody needs to drop a bomb on Bitmain manufacturing center Tongue anyways, no wonder why BTC.com is getting so much power these days. They reward the TX fees like Slush, unlike Antpoo. Man, next diff is gonna jump another 11% and our rewards are gonna be even lower. Damn.
