Hi there,

Had this same problem with my last s9, just wouldn't connect.. changed stratum and it connected fine. 6 on same stratum no problem but #7 wouldn't connect.

I heard, do not know if correct, that you need to put a password in your miner config, can be any password, passwords do not get checked, but it needs "something" in there.  Again, I simply read about that in some troubleshooting stuff half a year ago...so might not be correct, but wouldn't hurt to try it.

Hello, i want to obfuscate the traffic from my miners to slush pool using tor, i have routers with openwrt/lede and tor activated, but i'm using slush pool normal addresses, i read that slush has a hidden service for the pool, how do i set up that for my miners?.

Thanks for any orientation you guys can give me.

Why that vs. VPN?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Hello, we currently don't run Tor hidden service, neither we support mining via Tor network. It's possible that you can get it running somehow, however we cannot guarantee you anything. Another option could be mining via VPN.

another question when slushpool total hash is almost same yesterday but slushpool was second at total hash % percentage today at 4th rank and total bitcoin hash is same Huh how come

I guess you were looking on hashrate distribution chart like this? https://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hours

Those only estimate hashrate based on the number of blocks found, meaning they are very imprecise in such short period because of the variance – luck.

On the contrary the hashrate reported by Slush Pool is precisely measured in real time.
thanks for quick responses.
will add more S9

yes but m i missing what at this point per whattomine daily for avarage 80th/s 0.00579btc but at slush it is 0.00210 ?
here slush last blocks my rewards for 80th/s this more than double
what is must be min diffculty for 80th/s ??

You should be getting approximately 0.00007 BTC/TH, so the estimation is roughly correct. However the daily rewards fluctuate a bit because of luck (number of blocks found per day differ). It averages out over the time so there's nothing to worry about. You can watch the luck stats here: https://slushpool.com/stats/?c=btc

thanks, sluspool.com adding more all the way up to 200 S9
going up doubled today will add every day when have time.

hi
low rewards seem to me brought 6 s9 for test slushpool.
copying exact rewards something wrong what min difficulty should be for 6x S9.

33866   2018-04-07 23:44   00:27:24   3.066 Eh/s      68.34 Th/s   0.00027749 BTC   12.70507557 BTC   99

for 68.34 Th/s reward is 0.00027749 and can some help about min diff at slushpool.
thx

That looks to be about right for slushpool, with the pool's higher hash rate, you don't make nearly as much as before.

I am looking to understand if there are any other ways I can decrease the "Expected Payout Period"

Yes, add more hashing power  Wink Cheesy

He's exactly right though, if you want to keep up, you have to add more hash.

Unfortunately so - at least if you want to maintain the same average take home earnings. I was hoping this slump in price would squeeze out some hashing power but noooooo everyone has to add moooore. By everyone I mean the mega miners who don't really care about such pitiful mortal problems such as operating expenses.

Where do you think all of those "brand new" s9's are going...to storage?
