^ It's killing me too. I spent a lot of bitcoin last week. Need to get some blocks rolling here with Slush!!!!!! My varience system of dividing my hashrate isn't doing well with my BTCguild miners either. No luck here or there.

I've sold all my miners and my total BTC reward is just under the minimum send threshold of 0.01 in Slush's account settings.

Is there any way to get this final amount sent to my address?

Unfortunately I don't think so as this has been asked several times in the past.

That is a good question, from the pics that were on the FB page it looked as if it would have been pretty nice.

Thanks, for response.

Checked miners and they all do appear to be submitting. Be nice if they were implementing the new interface they have been working on for what seems like forever.

I'm looking at this product: https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage-new-products/10-gh-s-bitcoin-miner.html and was wondering if this would be worth the $50. I am CPU mining and getting a max of 1 MH/s, so 10 GH/s would be a major upgrade. I would run this all day, every day, and don't pay for power as well. Can anyone help me figure out how many BTC this would produce? I don't have all of the relevant information, otherwise I'd do it myself.

I also found these:

1.) http://www.amazon.com/BITMAIN-ANTMINER-ASIC-Miner-Overclockable/dp/B00HSC0D3W/ref=sr_1_33?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1410075480&sr=1-33&keywords=bitcoin+miner

2.) http://www.amazon.com/BITMAIN-ANTMINER-U2-Bitcoin-Overclockable/dp/B00ITD5NV6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1410075575&sr=1-1&keywords=bitcoin+miner

Any of these worth it? Sorry for being a noob, I am new at this.

Please tell us you are joking! If not, NO, NO NO. You can get 3 times that hashing power for the same price ina smaller, more efficient miner, and 5x that power in a cloud miner.

We all started somewhere i myself didnt consult the forum until way after i started mining.  Wish i would have but it made me a much smarter miner.

I think only a few like polmine and discus fish are PPS now, but they charge a lot for it.

polmine pps (delayed until block is found, no ripoff) fee is 1% and you get mm NMC so it evens out

i am mining at slush with asicminer tubes (4.2 TH) and i lost half of yesterday payouts due to 20 min miner maintance (not tubes fault). this is plain stupid.
unfortunatelly i am forced to choose between ghash, slush and btcguild with tubes...

DO NOT buy butterfly labs. They are a scam company who have ripped a lot of people off here.
You can problable buy a used antminer s1 from here for $65-$75 USD. You may be able to find an r-Box miner for $50 and a power brick for it for about $6. Make sure to use escrow from a trusted member. I'll post some link here shortly for you. What is your budget? Understand mining isn't very profitable if you are just starting. It is a fun hobby that can pay for itself.

I suspected that, glad I asked. I am looking to spend around $50 or more if it's worth it, it's not really going to be a hobby...I intent it to be more like an investment that will pay for itself and gain money over time. This first machine will be more like a test than anything. I would like something like the butterfly labs one that is small and can just sit on a dresser or something and run in the background 24/7. Thanks for your help so far.

Also, would the USBs I linked be of any use? I could just plug that in and run it when I am doing other things...right now I've got GUIminer running and using 75% of my CPU while only gaining about 600 KH/s...anything would be an upgrade at this point.

You can probably buy a used antminer s1 from here for $50-$60 USD. You may be able to find an r-Box miner for $40 and a power brick for it for about $6. Make sure to use escrow from a trusted member.

antminer s1:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/on-hold-antminer-s1s-for-50-each-lowest-price-around-736448

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0092ML0OC?cache=05013c223126ff150fbe806683a2d3e9&pi=SX200_QL40&qid=1410115360&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1

If it was me I would get a $50 antminer s1 and just have fun. I posted a link above. Just be careful in the Marketplace here, a lot of scammers.

I have seen the guy from that link I posted doing a lot of sales and he seems legit. Check his trust out, it seems ok, but read his notice in his thread about a scammer with a similar name to his. I always recommend escrow by a very trusted member. Like OGnasty or someone of that status.

The antminer s1 doesn't have to hook to a host computer. It's a stand alone unit. Has a web controller onboard.

^ could you please explain that in a little more detail so I can understand what you are saying a little better. I like your train of thought on this. Thanks

This is what I've always assumed:

The pool doesn't know your hash rate, at least not in any way like your miner reports it. All the pool can see for sure is the rate at which it's receiving your submitted shares and it knows what difficulty of share it asked you for. This can also be off because you can submit more accepted shares than required by your assigned vardiff setting due to luck at any given time.

The pools reversed engineered hash rate for your miner is just an estimate. I guess it is what it is.

Ive also wondered since the pool calculates every 5 minutes to get a 60 minute average hash rate and your mining software calculates on its own intervals not in sink with the pool, how much that would effect the pool side numbers if any?(especially after being connected for several hours)

All my miners report well on slushes pool except my Rockminer rk-boxes. (cgminer shows 480ghs and the pool shows 440ghs)
