Something could be said of priorities. Perhaps they'd rather serve individuals or small customers instead of large industrial parties to help re-balance the system back in favor of the people.

Then again, I'm well aware that most other people don't get into the crypto business because they *don't* want to make an overwhelming amount of money, so the likelihood of this is much less than it's a scam.

think about that oil number

1450/80,000 =  0.018125 a gh or 18.125 watts a gh

so think of a big miner with 10,000's of s9i's  and 2 cent power

say fanatic26_   he has 40 MW  to fill

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.47743340

so 40,000,000/1450 = 27,586 of these

If these people are real
If these people have the gear
They would not be working with us
They would find a guy like fanatic26_

They would cut a deal with him.

If they can do what they claim and they are looking to sell this way on eBay they would be the stupidest business people in the world.
Ask any big player and they would tell you that they get first pick on the gear.
Not us.

Hey I now have a 100kwatt and a 300kwatt solar array setup with buysolar.
gives us about 55kwatts an hour "free" power.
This gear would be heaven sent for me if it was real.
Even if the air cooled was real it would be 35 watts a th
better then the s15 or the m10.
No trump tax if shipped to USA !

Since my power is only 55kwatts free power and around 100kwatts 13 cent power.

if this did 35 watts a kwatt I could go to  55+15 = 70 kwatt  which comes to 2.78 cents a kwatt.
But if it were real and it is not they would have sent me one.  I would have said it is good and loaded up my solar setups.
Did videos and they would have sold and sold and sold.

Since they choose to not do that.
Once again stupid business people or gear is not real.

Either way why bother with them.

Yeah, what makes it even more absurd and scammy are these numbers they show at the website:

Power               Hash rate
1350W   40 Th/s (normal, ? air cooling)
1450W   80 Th/s (oil cooling)

Damn there is a big difference between the two cooling methods..  Roll Eyes

... Actually no, I wouldn't even sell it. I would mine for another decade or so until the rest of the planet catches up with my tech and then sell it.

so spot on it is perfect reason to not buy these.

Let us pretend that this can be built and sold for the price they claim .
They would simply find one or two private farms and deal with them.

There are places with 2 cent power and 3 cent power.
they would cut a deal with this company and we would not get this offer.

I know of big 2 cent farms that were mining with s9's and the 'new' firmware back in february of 2018.
We got the better power use firmware much later say Nov 2018  .  a 9 month gap/edge for that 2 cent power farm .

so they did 80 watts a th while we did 100 watts a th
and they had 2 cent power.

same thing would happen here

the 2 cent guy with 15000 s9i's would lock this gear up  for a year or more.

and this gear would not be offered to us now.

I happen to know the 2 cent is  loading up on m10 gear which is not as good as this.
Which means  this gear does not exist .
if it did the 2 cent guy would ask this to be kept under wraps.
and these sellers would do so since the guy I know could buy 10,000 of these.
to replace his s9i's

Please explain to me how can i theoretically be affiliated with the swissminer - when i dont advice anyone to buy it? Using your logic i can say that the user opened this thread is affiliated  with swissminer.
When i placed an order there was not limit of 5 miners. Any idea why they wont get your money if you are from USA? - i am very curious.
They also posted a message that they  have  a new miner with 800 TH or something like that.
They are not software engineers from small town - the owners are from small town - the people that created the software are probably from Sofia.

Getting the mining power they claim is not a software issue, it's hardware.  Software is open source, anyone can use it and do what they did, mine from one single pool.  It would violate the open source license, since they make money from that pool, sort of like a dev fee, but it can be done easily.
Right now the best miner in the world can do 48J/TH.  They claim 18J/TH !!!
Unless they have some alien tech this is unreal.
And if I had such a miner I sure wouldn't sell it for a thousand something bucks.  I would sell it for 20 grand and people would buy it like hotcakes.
Actually no, I wouldn't even sell it. I would mine for another decade or so until the rest of the planet catches up with my tech and then sell it.

Pretty interesting that you bought a miner as the site says minimum 5 order but at the same time you advise everybody to not buy one. To be honest, I don't believe you're affiliated to this scamminer, and rather than you remember you had another account and decide to use it to troll around a bit.

Oh yeah, Martin something ... good memory !!!

Also Josh Zipkin from the AMT debacle also comes to mind. Had strong ties to said country as well as having a YouTube vid of him and the Forums favorite Hellfire and Brimstone scam hunter Phinaeuse Gage aka Gleb Gamow saying how for the previous month of vitriolic posts he was wrong and that AMT's (single sort-of functioning) miner was real and would soon be shipping.... Believe is from around mid-March 2014...
Gleb of course just went along with it to further let Josh dig himself in deeper. Und boy did he (Josh) ever do that...

edit: HAH! Found it! Vid link added.

@Steamtyme  - my account here was created in 2014 /https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=228806/  - i have nothing to do with swissminer.tech people. I actually paid for the their shitminer AND for their oil cooler AND VAT on top of this - so in the next 30 days i will know if i lost my money - if not i will post a videos of the Bulgarian shitminers in action Smiley

Also I am not advising anyone to buy this miner!!!!!

Another red flag they sell only in the EU and accept only USD !!! Makes no sense.  The red flags are endless on this one.

Especially when Bulgaria has it's currency pegged to the euro for almost a decade if not longer.
So...

It is possible that we have a "company" that is using the name, address and everything else of a legit company without their knowledge? The nameserver stuff might invalidate this but still, is there a possibility? Some rogue employee?
This might be a first...probably!

Maybe i was planning the swissminer scam 5 years ago and was waiting for the right moment - hahaha.
Or maybe i was looking for info about the new miner and found this thread.
I dont know if my previous reply was deleted by moderators but as i said:
I am not advising anyone to buy this miner!!!!!

Any miner that does not give you the option to direct it to any pool of your choice is not a real miner.
If this is real and you actually do get something, it will most likely be cloud mining.
They already said that they have their own mining farm and this thing uses their own "mining pool".
If you do get something open it up and see what asic chips it has.
Most likely though it is a space heater that cloud mines.
You are right, Bulgaria does have some talented programmers but come on, lets get real, a bunch of software engineers like they say from a small town, created something that the armies of asic engineers from Bitmain, Canaan, Innosilicon and the likes couldn't create?  Personally I highly doubt it.
I honestly hope you didn't pay them with BTC. And also bear in mind that the VAT number they supplied is of the lingerie shop and not the so called swiss miner. I didn't find a company registered under the name Swiss Miner in Bulgaria so if you are determined to buy this at least pay the legit lingerie shop via wire transfer only.  Another red flag they sell only in the EU and accept only USD !!! Makes no sense.  The red flags are endless on this one.

As for for me being an unknown person. I am not unknown to:

bitmain.com
avalon.com
pangolinminer.com
coinbase.com

Plus more then 25 forum members have my address and phone.

I have done business on ebay since 2003

https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=philipma1957

I  have handled hundreds of escrows.
I have verified  1000's of dollars in gear.
I suggest to all don't buy the gear until someone trusted has one.

If not me HagssFin  is in Finland and can do a fine job he has done so more than once.

... Are you really taking these scumbag scammer's side in this case?

I would say for me chances are 20-30% they are scam and 70-80% maybe they did the impossible and beat the big guys.
Also I am not advising anyone to buy this miner!!!!!
I just can't believe that they will post a video with them if they actually don have the miner.
Regarding their pool - if i invest a lot of money in the firmware i would do the same - obviously they dont have better chips so what they did better must be on the software level.

@vb2005
It seems that you really don't understand the reviews.

It's a small price for them to send one sample unit,
and in return they get transparent, honest publicity for their device. They get the miner cost back in sales.

Are you really taking these scumbag scammer's side in this case?
