If you are asking the 5 best altcoins to hold for next year, i like only eth, ltc, neo, iota and nem, you will definitely gain very good amount in an year in terms of usd if you invest in these altcoins.
i think that more altcoins will go up such as EOS, QSP, Raiden, Request, Iota (now only good marketing), Nem (Xem), Ripple, San, Eidoo...

I think ethereum, LTC, minex and IOTA are altcoins that deserve to be held in 2018, because the coin value is still quite high. it can be seen from the bitcoin prices at the moment and the next few years
1. Top of list: ADA (Cardano) - Great minds behind the project/coin (including Charles Hoskinson, that used to work on Ethereum).
2. Stellar (Cheap and I believe it has potential to grow and become more valued in 2018)

there a lot of alt coin in this current world.i prefer bitcoin,eth,ltc,waves,minexcoin.if you hold this coin,you will earn a lot.this coin price will increase a lot within next few years.

ada and only ada. So much potential and still nok taken off.
Probably stupid what I did (since diversifying is always the best option to minimize losses) but I'm quite aware of my risks.. Went all in ADA for the long run... Really have faith in their project and their team. Just a matter of time before ADA starts flying off imo..
In a couple of years from now, I'm either going to be with a great smile on my face or will be sad to have dumped a decent amount of cash into something that didn't go through (which I doubt is the case).
I have a situation, that I have to continue to keep my old altcoins in the new year. I wait for their growth.

I can't understand how you have not included Ethereum in that list. Ethereum, for me, fills all five spots.

I am surprised Eth came out on top. I would have thought that it's already grown a lot, with less potential for high gains in 2018, but you have proved me wrong.
Litecoin, Ripple and Waves are in most folks picks so I will include them in my watch list.
It's important to note that a lot of these alts have seen 5-10x growth in the last month so we will have to look for opportunities to load up.

actually depends on how you rate the price of the coin. for me 5 coins you mentioned it, I am not so experienced there. but my advice you do not forget with ethereum, because ethereum is very good for long term and short term investing.
