Thank you LoyceV for your commitment to the forum.
I took your posting standard as a parameter many times during my (brief) stay on the forum.

Hmm, yesterday I saw this thread was locked. I thought the OP was satisfied with the well deserved praise. I really enjoy the trust list updates and all the other info Loyce provides in Loyce.club. You are really an asset to the forum politics. Keep up the good work. I just noticed that I have only been here a few days before you. Congratulations on making entry in this space during the horrible bear market of 2014 and 2015. So much has happened in the past five years. It feels like we have been involved for decades.

All of these reasons are the ultimate reason I bought the artwork from you a few months back. If this is generation 1 of the LoyceV model, then the next generation of this beautiful AI will be something special. (Unless they remove the headphone jack)

In all seriousness, I can't believe its only  been 5 years. I honestly thought you were here before me. You've definitely cemented yourself in Bitcointalk history in the time you've been here though.

Been messaging LoyceV way back to help some data and I'll confirm that isn't fond of using Python.

Anyways, congrats on your journey here and continue to do those things you're only capable of and be always an emulation to anyone that want to do what you do. Your loyce.club page is a nice site too and I guess I'll keep coming back in it.

Some facts about LoyceV:
  • Was once asked by theymos to be a Mod, by mistake (grrrrrrrr theymos)
How did you reply him? Rejected his request.  Grin

Not only about moderator, but it also is my surprise to know you did not a merit source at the start of merit system. You became a merit source many months after that (as you disclosed).

Just kidding, Loyce. Congratulations for your 5-year on the forum as one of the biggest boys here.

5 years is a period not too long for whole lifespan of human, but on the forum it is longer. The feeling to wait for ranking up with coming activities makes it longer than it really is. No one here imagine how we will become next 5 years on the forum. We only enjoy our each day here, and let the time goes on.

I have been here only half of your time and I hope that I will stay here next 3 years to have a 5-year celebration as yours.

By the way, let me take this chance to say thank you again, for all your help and advice, LoyceV.  Cheesy

<...> Tried to have DdmrDdmr Nuked (I can't find back the link. I'm still sorry)<...>
Well looking over the 374 newbie (at the time) list to nuke, you did get a vast majority right:

-   309 (82,62%) are banned (as per your full list last Friday, either then or at a later point in time)
-   12 (3,21%) non-banned have been merited (only!)
-   53 (14,17%) non-banned have not been merited (I didn´t go into details to far, but they seem abandoned now).

The 12 non-banned merited ones are:

No need to brag  Grin
Once every 5 years, I get to brag Cheesy

LOL maybe in the next 5 years you will actually contribute to the technology that brings us all here....
Hi fake Newbie, I'm flattered you created a new account just to talk to me!
Bitcoin's technology works fine. It needs users, and I'm pretty sure I've contributed plenty on that part.

I remember Pming you about an idea but too bad your too busy making this forum great and didnt give me a good suggestion.
The time I spent answering PMs slightly depends on how busy I am when I read them. I try not to ignore them, but sometimes it seems like the best option. I don't remember what you asked exactly Tongue

You're one of the only people on this forum that I wouldn't mind meeting IRL.
Thanks, I guess Tongue It's just not going to happen Cheesy I've rejected invitations before, and I'll keep doing that.

In 5 minutes you've proven how credible fake newbies are. Congratulations.

I agree with suchmoon. If you are a fake newbie then your insights and summary regarding LoyceV regarding their lack of substance coupled with their coming here originally to complain they couldn't pocket free crypto dust. Five years on still scrounging free bitcoin dust from chipmixer. These are highly credible and accurate comments. Amazing only newbies can provider accurate and useful assessments of these merit DT giants.

Newbies should start their own self congratulatory threads. Been here 5 mins and already provided more value in terms of truth and accuracy than most DT and legends are capable of.

The Q & A would be far more useful. No btc just payments required either.

I just posted this in another thread, but it has relevance here:

This just came up in another thread, so I thought I'd share: (feel free to add your own name)

BTW, congratulations, I have over 5,000 posts and over 2,000 activity so I know how it feels to reach such milestones, I chose to celebrate a little bit more subdued:

This is my 5,000th post.

Many thanks to everyone who has continued to make the Known Alts thread a successful tool in the hunt to identify both alts themselves and potential or actual scammers.

Congratulations on your first five years here; I've got six and a half years membership (with about a three month gap a few years back when BCT went off-line for a while due to DDoS or something similar).  I nearly didn't come back, but it was the alt coins siren call that brought me back.

I still recall those early days when you were generating vanity wallet addresses for people and I was "helping you out" by generating them quicker than you were able to and I would always insist that you be given the tip for services rendered (even though you hadn't done the work Wink )

You're one of the only people on this forum that I wouldn't mind meeting IRL.

  • Tried to have DdmrDdmr Nuked (I can't find back the link, but I'm still sorry)
Here it is:   Cheesy

I've tagged the account... although I can't tell if I'm actually DT2 or not, so I'm not sure what good it will do.
Add ;dt to any page to see it as DT. Example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2398151;dt
You're on DT (included by suchmoon).

I found out yesterday that I listed "bounty spammer" DdmrDdmr to be nuked last February Shocked
I could have been knocked-off the board pretty soon though …:
My Nuke list for consideration (I choose clickable over code-tags):
<…>
DdmrDdmr
<…>
@mprep and other mods apparently nuked quite a few from the list. Saved by the whistle …
~
The ones above and under your name are all nuked. The Mods did a good job excluding you. Creating a long list is quite easy, manually checking the accounts before nuking them is a lot of (boring) work. Well done Mods Cheesy
Sorry! I'm glad the Mods paid attention Smiley

  • All of facts ✓
~~~
You have done your best and have been named a jewel on the bitcointalk.org forum. Only a few people can do as you have now, and maybe none. Congratulations on all the facts about your profile, I like it.
I want to be like you, having most of the facts about goodness and great achievements embedded in my profile, I want to travel everywhere and people can get to know me but in reality I have to be at a level far from you because of limited ability and the knowledge and background that we have. I just hope that one day I can also reach a level like you. Congratulations again on your achievements in 5 years at the forum and I hope you will continue to be here for a long time. Cheers Wink
I joined Bitcointalk just shortly after I "started with Bitcoin". For privacy reasons, I used a random generator to create a name: Loyce Valenzuela! I only found out it's a girl's name much later, but by then it had grown on me already. "Valenzuela" rolls off the tongue nicely. I never imagined I'd still be using the same name 5 years later.
In my early days, I even missed several "2 weeks Activity periods" on Bitcointalk, that's how inactive I was. How things have changed Cheesy
If only you had've joined 12 days earlier, we could all be wishing you a happy valentines with your 5 years partner: bitcointalk.
Congrats on the 5 year anniversary, I imagine many of us thought the forum would be gone. That's the general tone I got when I joined in august 2015.
I joined to see if cloudmining was legit, turns out the sites I were trying to use weren't (afaik)...
We can reconvene in another 5 years when you still haven't moved off of here Grin. Perhaps by then you'll be a mod of something @Theymos where are we on creating Loyce's special board...
LFC_Bitcoin's topic reminded me I have something to celebrate too: Today, I turned 5 years old on Bitcointalk!
I joined Bitcointalk just shortly after I "started with Bitcoin". For privacy reasons, I used a random generator to create a name: Loyce Valenzuela! I only found out it's a girl's name much later, but by then it had grown on me already. "Valenzuela" rolls off the tongue nicely. I never imagined I'd still be using the same name 5 years later.
In my early days, I even missed several "2 weeks Activity periods" on Bitcointalk, that's how inactive I was. How things have changed Cheesy
I've been a Mod on Rollin.io until the site shut down. That's where I grew my thick skin. And, according to some, a pony tail Cheesy
Compared to Rollin's Chatter box, Bitcointalk is filled with Saints. After Rollin shut down, i started spending more time on Bitcointalk.
I can't deny Merit has been good for me, but I also know I'm spending more time here than I probably should. I appreciate that most of the community values my contributions, thanks for that Smiley I often feel honored for being mentioned on local boards which I can't even read. My Trust list viewer is still my proudest work, and it's often used to prove certain points (good or bad). I try to remain neutral from most of the forum drama, and I wish more people would use a "neutral" approach whenever possible.
Some facts about LoyceV:
Thanks Satoshi! None of this would have happened without you. I truely wish I would have been here from the start.
