If you want to go all in with 50k usd you can just buying ethereum when its reaching its dip. Probably at $300 or $350. Dont rik your money to another coin. Ethereum is still the best altcoin or if you want older coin buy litecoin it is still very undervalied altcoin so far. Litecoin also already support segwit make the network more lite.
Men, really, put this money into not only one crypto - divide it and put into 5 or more crypto

I had a situation in my family few months ago where I received a lot of money from my dead granma.
I would like to chose ONE crypto and go "all in" with around 50k usd.
My goal is 1 year HODL and then withdraw most of it for an house or something like that.
Doing my own research I found ICON (ICX) as possible 10-20x cryptocurrency in this given timeframe.

Currently the cryptocurrency market is falling deeply, the price of bitcoin and all altcoin are very low. If you want to invest in this market then this is a very good opportunity for you. Pick and buy these valuable and potential altcoins to buy $ 50,000 is a huge amount, I advise you not to use the entire $ 50,000 you have just to buy an altcoin, no one put all the eggs into the same one Please break down that amount and buy more than 2 altcoins. Some potential altcoin that you should buy like BTC, ETH, LTC
This is a great amount for investment. I would choose Stratis and thekey. This is the most reliable investment in my opinion.
Invest in Bitcoin would be better option then to invest in other crypto . might be next week bitcoin could move toward to bullish and it will have great profit !

I think if there are $ 50k, I would split 3 spaces to invest in 3 different altcoins. 40% will be for the bitcoin, 30% will be for the NEO and 30% will be for the ICX. These are the altcoins that have very good news recently. Take advantage of it and become richer.

You should not spend all your money to invest in just 1 altcoin, no one puts all the eggs in the same basket. $ 50,000 is a huge amount, you can do many things. If I invest in the cryptocurrency market then I'd recommend buying 2-3 potential altcoins, you should choose the top altcoin on coinmarketcap like ETH, LTC, NEO, .. especially now, when the price of bitcoin and the altcoin is very low, this is a great opportunity for you to invest in crypto. Buying and holding altcoin I believe you will be profitable in the future.
Don't invest in ICOs, choose something what is traded on exchange,like stratis, eos, neo, xrp. Don't bet on 1-2 coin, or you will be so dissapointed in case of falure. Diversification is best option
If bitcoin would go the next week up.....(thats unreal) - all altcoins will grow even faster then it!

It really depends on how BTC price rises, if it is abrupt, people tend to panic and sell their alts, sending those to go down. However, if the BTC growth is "organic" alts tend to out perform BTC specially during the initial pump.
There are opportunities there to maximize profit if you want to play it that way.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.
I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

I would advise you not to look for any unpopular coins, but to turn your attention to ETH and NEO. It seems to me that their price is now very favorable for investing, and having bought them now after a while you can increase your starting capital in x2 - x4 times. My most important investment at the moment is Credits (CS). At current prices, I would not take of course. But on the drawdown would buy. I bought when merged bounty members). Buy on ICO, unfortunately did not have time.

Think about investing in stratis or thekey. These are two distinct altcoins with a great perspective. Still I would prefer Gladius.
