Hello guys,

I'm already in Crypto since march 2017 and made a decent amount of money to pay off my bills and some holidays.

I had a situation in my family few months ago where I received a lot of money from my dead granma.

I would like to chose ONE crypto and go "all in" with around 50k usd.

My goal is 1 year HODL and then withdraw most of it for an house or something like that.

Doing my own research I found ICON (ICX) as possible 10-20x cryptocurrency in this given timeframe.

PS: Please do not suggest unknown or shitcoins. (I know those may make a good money but I am not confident on putting so much money in these).

DZ

It is a big amount of money to be put in just a single investment. That kind of move is really risky. There are lots of good coina out there that has good potential and now is the right time to go shopping for good coins since the market is all red. Nwver put all your eggs in one basket, it is recommended to diversify your investment since you are investing a huge amount of money, and that money is from your dead granny, so take a good care of it.

If you only want to put it for one year. You better did not put your money now untill we are sure this year is not like 2014 bearish year. If it is confirmed 2014 multi year bearish the whole crypto will goes down and you can not cash your money out when it is in the full bearish mode on year latter. It is good to hold your fiat and buy when it is dip.

Wow...  Going all in on ICX with your 50k USD from your dead grandma would probably the dumbest thing you can do right now.  I hope she's up there looking at you right now and laughing her ass off at how stupid you are.

haha you made my day Cheesy

Well, if you do not want to buy top coins, then here is my list of promising altcoins for 2018: eos, capp, ada ,kin, iota.
I hope these coins will bring me a good profit in 2018! Cool
for the coin-coin you have recommended earlier, I am more interested in the Iota coin, because I see in the market price and tradding volume pretty good if in the category altcoin

My most important investment at the moment is Credits (CS). At current prices, I would not take of course. But on the drawdown would buy. I bought when merged bounty members). Buy on ICO, unfortunately did not have time.

It's a really good money to invest $ 50,000. If I were to invest so much money, I would not listen to the advice on the forum. After finishing the money for several different coins, it helped invest. Buy some btc, ether, ven, neo and some different coins to make surprise Smiley

Don't risk such an amount on altcoins during a bear market, if you really want to invest that much in to crypto, put it all on BTC and wait for times to change, also focus on the buy in price, I wouldn't be buying it at $9k right now when we're dropping under $8k during the dips.

Well 50k is too much to invest in only one coin. It would be too risky to go in all unless you choose Bitcoin or Ethereum. Currently everything is undervalued and prices are really cheap. You can split your investments in 3-4 to lower the risk and also to catch the right coin to hit jackpot.
I also have thoughts like you, now with a big investment we can choose some coins that have a potentially good future, but we still have to have eth and btc con to investment because eth and btc coins can be a retaining coin if other coins are not used has a price increase. so choose a good coin and potentially.

wait until it's really good to buy and invest it, now the price is not looking good on bitcoin and other altcoin, so wait for a really good time to buy it, think again to buy and hold it for long

Ethereum is best option. One of the most popular uses of the Ethereum platform, is the design and issuance of its own cryptocurrency. Many of the coins currently in existence on Crypto Market were created using the Ethereum blockchain platform.

The amount of 50,000 dollars can buy 30-50 altcoin and for sure you will gain more profit after few years of holding potential coin. You can try to invest to ripple, dash, ethereum , litecoin, monero, qtum, komodo and for sure once you buy this potential coin you will gain more profit. Better to make your own research because that amount is very big you need wise decision for this.

Like some of the other posters suggested I think it's silly to invest all you have into 1 crypto.

But if you are going to do that I would recommend you put it into either BTC, ETH or LTC.
These are top 5 coins with huge backing and extremely liquid markets.

You may not see the same gains as you would with some of the smaller cryptos but the risk is much smaller also.

If you want to make large gains I would invest smaller amounts into a few different promising up and coming coins, not put all my eggs in one basket.

You can now take plenty of bitcoins with you and the advantage is in your hands. Remember that we've been through a big correction so this can finally be ended for the next months to come. And with your goal of holding for 1 year for sure you can earn more than 100% after that period.

I would suggest you to spend $1k on different coins. Then you'll have 50 different coins in your portfolio. That's what I will do Smiley

Please read above. I have more than 100k usd invested on different coins already. Just wanted to Go all in in one coin and forget for a year and then withdraw.

I suggest you invest into credits(cs) this coin has a big potential to be the next ethereum. Alpha launch test made a 400k tps which is good, and by next week beta release .
I also like credits lately this coin were drops from previous price and had an increase in price and volume. Yes I notice this coin that has a potential in the market and also they had an update on their platform. But, as you know I prefer to diversify when investing in crypto by split your investment not only one coin so choose other potential coins to invest.

Credits seems good coin and I folloe its track since day 1 since I bought some of it and earn with buying at dumping rate and know the credits had a strong stand. And provably it could even pump for more since the supporters of this coins had good specualation for more further years of its existence.

Eth has a much better chance to 10x instead of icon.  Eth is the most used platform by far and is only gaining more users everyday.  Eth to 5k  may even happen at the end of this year.

And lol at the people saying 50kusd is a lot of money.   50k is peanuts, must be a lot of poor 3rd worlders on this forum.
