i hope it stays that way so what if the price drops what counts is will it last after the smoke clears im buying a few more AMD card at the end of the month, so i hope it works i really don't want to go back to ETH unless a miner is made that dual mines both with the power usage of Zec , which might not be possible but who know some amazing things are done .
Yeah i hope ZEC price stays where it are or go up a bit.
I like the lower power consumption.

Anyway.
This farm have been going on ZEC since the start of that.
Its producing around 1000 s/s on Claymore v1 miner.
Still more profitable then ETH so i will keep it there for now.

Where did you get those frames that you mount the different rigs on?

Nice pictures, love seeing other peoples mining setups !!

i sell them if you want, 0.12 each plus shipping, they are actually are better than those in the picture, on mine you can mount psu and ssd nicely, by screwing them on the frame

OP i think you can do better with the wattage, my rig is running at 170MH-180MH/700w with 6 x 1070, if i were to build a 570MH little farm it will hash at 2300w maximum

sorry i just want to get the facts right ...   570 giving an RX 470 average of 28.5MHZ per card = 20 cards and if i assume you run them on 4 machines. So each machine are running approximate 575w. The math dont add up. It would be rather dangerous if you are sqeezing the last drop of your PSU. As others mention, you will experience connector melting and other damages if yo keep going down the path.

If RX 480 at 570MH will give you 19 cards and yet give you 4 sets of machine. Each card you are providing 121w per card excluding the CPU, RAM, HDD. again it is rather dangerous to sqeeze your system this way.

IMHO

no mate it's on hypothetical 3 rig with 1000w each, but they only use around 700w

is that off the wall of GPUz?

measured with corsair link, pretty accurate

Are you experiencing high temps and noise levels when you stack all the cards close to each other?
Do you mean when i have six 470s monted side by side ?
Not hot at all, right now my 470s are running at 77 degrees with ~37-40% fan speed.

Where did you get those frames that you mount the different rigs on?

To be honest i dont have the time to tweak it better right now so i am gladly paying the extra wattage in change for rock solid stability.

This is what the rigs draw from the wall:

3x480 + system = ~500w
3x480 + system = ~500w
4x480 + system = ~641w
3x480 + system = ~500w
6x470 + system = ~858w

Thats around ~2999w
I have messed around with the powertuning after i meassured all rigs so it is not exact.
I have alot of spare power on every psu in my rigs.

Love your farm looks awesome. Would you mind posting some video of how loud it is?
Thanks !
I try to spare the fan lifes with running the them as low as possible.
I have set 80 degrees as limit on all cards, the ventilation is pretty good around all rigs.
People are sleeping just a few meters away from the rigs in my home without problems.

My forced ventilation in the storage sound twice as much as the rigs itself Smiley I got 2xDelta 120mm fans (190cfm each) pulling in fresh air and two of the same pushing out hot air in 100mm hoses.
I think it is pretty hard to hear the real level of sound in a video, especially in the storage.
