Now the BFL order is defiantly under way I might as well order the £25 RaspberryPi 5W PC as don't want to have to set the boards up on 86x64PC then have to move them all over to the ArmPC and have to set them all up again.  As there is a time wait for RaspberryPi as well.  Also will order a ten port powered USB hub I have seen for £6 I know the IPO is only paying for three USB boards but we might as well think ahead for the price of £6 as the RaspberryPi only has one USB2.0 port?

Hi Matthew,

Please excuse the delay in confirming your order.  We have been focusing on production over new customer inquiry and are just now catching up.

Your PayPal payment has been received in full and your BitForce SHA256 Single is secure. Your date of purchase is 02/24/2012. I will keep you informed as to the expected delivery date of your order.

Thanks again for your interest in our product.

Kind regards,
Sonny K

So I tried to tempt them with a 30BTC to ship today and here is there reply -

Hi Matthew,

I'm sorry, but we can't skip the purchase order priority of delivery.  If we did, other customers who've been waiting longer would get shorted.

Regarding your order, I've just processed it.  Please expect a 4-6 week lead time.  We're into production now so you may actually receive it sooner.

Kind regards,
Sonny K
BF Labs Inc.

Also just received a third email from BFL regarding the order and using a RaspberryPi -

I know several customers have plans on using Rasberry to drive the units.  There's no reason for it not to work.

Delivery is 4-6 weeks from the date of payment.

Our cash was taken over two weeks ago now so we could have it within two weeks and hopefully sooner than four weeks now.

I've got an experienced programmer to help us use a 5v RaspberryPi to run the ASIC/FPGA boards saving us 200W from a x86 PC so now we should reach 2.5GH/s for under 250W meaning our electrical bill should be around £20 a month for over 50BTC generated a month once the IPO has been completed and all three boards purchased.  It has know been over two weeks since board one was ordered so it should be shipped within four weeks.  What are share holders views on potentially eventually switching to 100% green sourced renewable electricity supplier the electric bill should still cost under £25 although we may have to wait twelve months maybe as currently in the process of changing supplier.

Thanks for the continued investment people your are moving us on towards the second ASIC/FPGA board.  Although I can assure you it won't be ordered until we have a shipping number for the first unit.  Also if the unit has not been received by the 6th of April a PayPal dispute for full return of the funds will be put in.  That date is the sixth week from the date of the purchase and still within the forty-five day PayPal dispute time limit.  Their order form promised to dispatch within four to six weeks although stated it could be quicker.  It has now been just over two weeks since the order was placed and paid for.  Again thank you for your continued investment.

The demo version of GLBSE2.0 has been updated.

Since this is going to be the system you guys will be using it very soon please go over to http://dev.glbse.com and give it a try.

Create a new share, sell them (create a fake account to test buying them), create some new motions, pay dividends and play around in general.

2.0 is a big step away from the current system, and it's important that you're ready for the change over.

Here's the release notes

Well they have taken my money all I can do is hope they stick to their promise of six to eight weeks delivery as they stated.

I'm curious where this was stated, can you link me?  They were telling people 3-4 weeks last year for orders that still haven't been delivered.  You have read the various BFL threads and are aware of the delivery delays, right?  From reading over your thread, you make it sound like you'll have these units hashing away soon.  I hope you & your investors realize it could be several months before this equipment is received.

"Order Terms

Delivery: Units are guaranteed to be shipped within four to six weeks from the date of purchase. However, your delivery time may be significantly less depending on the production group your order falls in.

Worldwide delivery is available at standard priority courier rates from Kansas City, Missouri in the United States to your destination. US department of commerce export control restrictions prohibit the sale of these devices to AT designated countries.

Product includes: Fully assembled unit with Enclosure, USB Cable, PSU & driver software (including Bitcoin block mining application)."

If the unit has not been delivered by the 1st of April a quick vote will be held on whether to put a dispute in with PayPal for return of the funds.  Then we will look into ZTEX USB-FPGA Module's - http://www.ztex.de/.

I hope you are right.

Well they have took the money I have also emailed them today with the PayPal purchase order number asking them when the unit will be shipped.  I will announce their reply hear, on the company blog - http://redstarmining.blogspot.com/ - and in the Red Star CoinConnect group - http://www.coinconnect.org/groups/profile/13713/red-star-mining.  The order was made last Friday (24/02/12) so hopefully it will be another five weeks maximum until the first unit is shipped.  By then the IPO should have continued enough to purchase unit two I will only put in an order for unit two and three once I have a shipping number.

nice hopefully we get it in 3 weeks

I'm hoping my order comes sometime soon as well.  Unfortunately, orders submitted in November of 2011 still haven't been delivered, so I wouldn't put too much faith in BFL Singles arriving for any recently submitted orders anytime soon.

What happens if Butterfly Labs just comes up with a bankruptcy/receivership announcement?

I very doubt that will happen as they have got more orders then they can handle.  All I could do is try to get our money back yes there are some risks involved but that is why I'm offering the potential of the highest MH/s per share and MH/s per BTC invested of any GLBSE traded mining company in my IPO.

If I can get one and get it to work I might use a RaspberryPi - http://www.raspberrypi.org/ - $35 very low power ARM PC to run the ASIC/FPGA boards.

Thank you very much to whoever purchased those 50 shares last night you are moving us on to the purchase of the second ASIC/FPGA board.  May I remind our investors and potential investors of the company's blog - http://redstarmining.blogspot.com/ - and the 'Red Star' CoinConnect group - http://www.coinconnect.org/groups/profile/13713/red-star-mining - CoinConnect is the first Bitcoin social network.

so those who bought at 0.40 and 0.50 have wasted their money ? since now its back to 0.30

If they did and can prove it then I will personally but those shares back at that value once I get paid in three weeks.  As it wouldn't have been many as I've been checking the boards.  No one bought at 5BTC tho.  Anyway there still in to a massive long term profit if you look at this thread - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/comparison-of-btc-mining-companys-on-the-glbse-66570

you will personally what ? buy those shares back  ?

if so i bought 4 shares at 0.48990 couldn't buy at 0.50 as some where trying to get out. also bought 34 shares at 0.40 btc each

will wait 3 weeks so you can buy them back

OK Sen no problem will be about 3 weeks on Wednesday until I have the funds.  Thanks for investing  Smiley
