I am now running at Core 866 and Memory 1500, getting 610 kh/s per card... Since Memory at 1600 led the card to crash after 1 mins.
No I have 3 cards. And I don't have a cgminer.conf in the directory, I run a bat file.

-I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 866 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan -w 256 --shaders 2048 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2

Try this:
-I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1500 --auto-fan -w 256 --shaders 2048 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2

Leave shaders alone. And why do you run you mem so much higher than core? And up the -i untill the driver crashes and come back 1 level. The cards are playing chess with each-other at -i 13. Leave 13 on you card which is used for display and go up on the others. Your .bat should look like -i x,x,13 or 13,x,x depending which GPU u use for display. Spending 10 hours on the setting is not a lot. What happends if you run core=mem=1000?

I never use this pc, its made solely for mining also most people with 7970 at mining with much higher rates at -I 13....

The question is do you have/mined on a 7970?? because your post doesn't make any sense !!

What happens if you lower the memory to 1500 and increase the core to 1000 or 1050?

Runs between 400-500

I tired every setting here my best was --thread-concurrency -w 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2
Core at 915 Memory at 1600, gets me 640 kh/s... How come you guys have the same card and same settings doesn't work Huh

What is your card's manufacturer?
I have this card

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4102#bios

Even this setting isn't stable !

Do you have a single card?

What happens if you lower the memory to 1500 and increase the core to 1000 or 1050?

Can you paste your cgminer.conf?

Has anyone ever figured out how to unlock voltage on these rev. 2 cards? Really wish I could under volt them.

It is possible to flash them with modded BIOS. The question is whether they will remain stable at a lower voltage.

Do you have a link to this BIOS, please? I've got 16 7970s, the only ones that aren't under volted is these 2 GB cards, plus an Asus DCII which is also voltage locked. I saved about 600w of electricity by under volting all of my cards. Smiley Takes a lot of patience and testing to find the minimum voltage they will run on 24/7 stable.

GPU: 1030
MEM: 1750

-I 13 --shaders 2048 -g 2 -w 256

What speed has rate do you get that way?

Sorry, 725 kh/s on most of my 7970s.

Did you try 1050/1500 or 1080/1500 (on Gigabyte 7970OC)?

Are you getting any better results (with 8192 thread concurrency)?

I'll try it out tomorrow. Smiley

--thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -w 256 -g 2

remember to delete the scrypt file .bin in cgminer folder before trying the new settings

Hello I have a rig with 3x 7970, Gigabyte GV-R7970C-3GD...

I have tried everything on the internet to get these cards working at 650+, actually they won't mine above 580 kh/s...
I have noticed a strange thing running settings that people over here post... I would usually get more kh/s if I remove the -g 2 !
Which people say is needed for speeds over 700 kh/s.. I have Catalyst 13.4, latest App SDK 2.8.

Quite annoying thing, I have spent more than 10 hours trying to set it up but no progress so far !

Currently running  at 550 kh/s using  stock settings at -I 13

Try engine at 1080 and memory at 1500.

thread-concurrency at 8192
lookup-gap at 2

and (very important):

gpu-threads at 2.

if by gpu threads you mean -g 2 ! I have the cards running at these settings getting 400 kh/s

hmm I got to 640 with :
 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -w 256 --shaders 2048 --lookup-gap 2 -g2
Core running 915 and Memory @ 1600

What's your thread concurrency?  How much ram does your system have, and how much usable do you have if you  right click on my computer and click properties?

TC 8192, I have 8 Gb ram on win 7 64 bit
