It is. People use it for a lot of different purposes, such as URL shortening, social media networking, and since it's a memorable name, it's helpful for your website.

shorts domain do have their value as its easy to remember for clients the link looks kind of like a referrar link , is this your own domain or you are reselling or referring ? who is the current registrar ?

My estimation is there are only about 410 domains of the type N.LL (ccTLD) on this planet. I heard myself owners asking 10000$ for such domains. They are extremely rare and not easy to get. 1-number domains from bigger ccTLDs like .DE, .PL etc. can reach some 30000$ or more. Even though there are nTLDs now still in the shortest domain segment nothing changed since nTLDs start from 3 characters up.

Also there might be new technological reasons why this domains might grow in value in future. Some clients bought from me not because of a meaning but of the shortest format.

And my price is much lower than the 2200$.
