I agree with this statement, since then the influence of bitcoin and cryptocurrency gets wider as all country are open minded with cryptocurrency and several countries engaged in crypto business eventhough there are some country bans bitcoin. Through the rapid development of cryptocurrency, after 5 years this is possible that billion people would participate and g3t involved in cryptocurrency.

Brian Armstrong's prediction that a billion people will be using crypto currency in the coming 5 years and I do agree with that .
Bitcoin is the first crypto currency has started in the year 2009.The bitcoin originators intention to provide a strong currency for the benefit of the global community for their daily requirements. It has a strong net work systems with modern technology.The incorporation of the modern technology to the crypto currency was one of the major set back to get it popularize because the majority of the global community was far away from the modern technology on that time and mow it has overcome that problems.Bitcoins popularity is wide spreading world wide and the number of crypto using community is increasing day by day Bitcoins features are very attractive to the global investors. It can be even more than the five million people as predicted by Brian Armstrong. Cryptocurrency will see an incredible boost in patronage if some few instances go well, for example, if Bitcoin ETF is accepted. This can cause more than half the population of the world to patronize cryptocurrency.

i also thunk so this will be the case.
In the past months friends from inflation suffering countries asked me how to save their savings instead of gold. They asked me if I can change them money to Euro, Dollars or Franks. But I said he should have a look at Bitcoin as a inflation savvy currency.
Countries like Venezuela, Argentinia and Iran could be helped with Bitcoin.
i also thunk so this will be the case.

This is really possible as more and more nations are legalizing the use of it in their country which mean the crypto currency users are steadily increasing. Hopefully it will happen as soon as possible to prove the world that Bitcoin is not a bubble and all will recognized it as an another form of currency.

I think, bitcoin and crypto users has already reached billion excluding those countries who are just recently banning them. I believe about 80% of the total population of the world already know about cryptos and 60% out of that 80% are using it already.

yes I strongly agree with this, in the future, cryptocurrencies will not only be made as livelihoods like what we are currently doing but will be able to be traded. all people in the world will buy food and drinks, pay bills, all are done using cryptocurrencies

It is more likely to happen in coming 5 years, if bitcoin survives with its stability then more probably more than 1 billion peoples will be using bitcoin as payment.

Mr. Armstrong is really excited about cryptos. It would be a dream if 1 billion people used or invested in cryptos in 5 years. The market would certainly be being valued at a few tens of trillions of dollars

The things is we need a large scale adoption of Bitcoin and we're talking million/billion scale. This adoption issue is at the centre of price fluctuation, the more people are using BTC the more secure and stronger the network/community becomes.
We are talking about the cryptocurrency as a whole.

like i keep telling my friends and families, the next era is cryptocurrency, no doubt about that fact. Going by recent developments, the world is gradually shifting from the regular fiat transactions to digital cashless transactions and that gives an edge to cryptocurrency to thrive. Bitcoin is now becoming more popular, it is increasingly being used, and most importantly, people are beginning to realize the benefits of using this technology. That's great.
In my opinion, currently bitcoin users have reached tens of millions of users, and will continue to grow because of the spread of bitcoin. but within 5 years is it possible that mass adoption can occur up to 10 times? even though adoption happened I wasn't sure in 5 years, users could reach billions of people5 years is a long time. And anything is possible especially mass adoption considering the attention bitcoin has been getting. And the more people understanding blockchain the faster it'll be for this prediction to come true.
