if a college student buys a bitcoin in 2011 it's not worth it in 2017 and just hold it right now it's just a little bit bigger because the price of bitcoin is now down.
Its a great story triggering maybe a lot of envy and regret, but why not take it as inspiration and invest in projects you believe in, for no one could truly predict or trust in the appreciation of btc, the way it did, and we are all lucky to be a part of a cryptoworld still in its infancy, which leaves a lot of room for growth!
From this story, we can take the lesson that investing long-term with coins that have the potential will benefit us in the future. It's just that we do not know that the coin has potential or not. But this is a very lucky piece of the story in the real world.

This may still repeat itself if we invest now and hold for about 6 to 7 years. We may also be the lucky one years to come if we can risk our resources by using it to invest in bitcoin or any other altcoin. The price of bitcoin is low comparable to what we had last year and so this is an oppurtuny for us to invest more.
