We all know crypto have bright future but we shouldn't force our childrens to do things that they didn't like. Maybe let them discover what they want to so in life since following their passion could make them happy and more productive in life.

If they want bitcoin for sure they find ways to know more about it but for now since they are growing up let them discover what path they want to take in life since experience always give important lessons for them to grow. If you really want to teach this bitcoin to your children well theirs nothing wrong about it, but try to feel them if they are really interested since if not maybe this is not a perfect time to do it and they might forget all things what you said to them.

What if you never heard of anything like Bitcoin and the only opportunity you finally had was when you grew rather too old and your kids had to introduce you to it? ... won't they make money from it by the way?
It's rather nice to start up in them what will stand to grow a good wealth for them tomorrow, ..but what if they feel rather too lazy or apathetic for it??if not for any reason but for the strenuous processes?? Then you just have to let them be... Every body wants the best for their children.

I've preferred not to teach them about Bitcoin during their kid's time instead, help them enjoy their time and focus on school. Honestly, it was too bad to dictate what they have to do with their life in the future as we have an individual wants. Maybe they become interested in cryptocurrency or maybe not. Of course, we can educate them about Bitcoin but not to the point that we need them to follow what we doing today unless they are showing interest as well. There is a perfect time of doing that...

It is good to teach our keeps about digital currencies and not just bitcoin becasue no one knows if bitcoin is going to exist 50 years from now. But we are sure that digital forms of payment are here to stay and will be here for a long time to come. Best teach your kids about them and help them also acquire some sort of skill that will be useful in the web3 ecosystem.

We learned about Bitcoin the hard way. Yes it will take much less time to educate our kids about Bitcoin. Since no one helped us learn about Bitcoin, we took the hard work of learning Bitcoin on our own. Then I was able to study here with great difficulty. However, I would not let my child learn about Bitcoin at such a young age. If my child is fit, I will teach him about Bitcoin. Because at this educational age, if Bitcoin is educated in education, his attention to education will decrease. He cannot be a human being. It is inheritance and we all want our children not to suffer from future financial crisis and this has prepared us to think like this. Especially, people that have experienced poverty and have been fortunate to know Bitcoin at an early time and still holding up to this moment. As you have said OP, we can teach and educate them about Bitcoin as early as they can be. But, it's still up to these kids if they'll be interested on what we're teaching them which is anything related to BTC/Blockchain. These young folks have got unpredictable decisions and interest as they grow older but as long as we're able to tell them that there's this great piece of tech and not just a tech but also an asset, a store of value and a way to transfer wealth and that's Bitcoin.

All you have to do is to let them know that crypto existed and you knew it depends on how long you know about crypto. In that way, you are not forcing your children to invest or give their time spend on crypto. It is much better if you let them decide if they want to be in the crpyto or they choose different path. It is the same in my situation where I didn't even know about crypto and he only told me that crypto existed and explained more about it then he said, it's up to me if I want to learn more or not and then he said that, his part is done and it's up to me if I want to or not and here I am.

I'm confident that in the future, adoption of bitcoin will surpass that of it at the moment, but you shouldn't worry about our children being as successful in the cryptocurrency market right now as we were because I'm confident that they will stand to gain more from it than we did. This is because we all think that the price of bitcoin will increase from where it is at the moment and that there may be additional ways to use it and other cryptocurrencies in the future.

Our children will have different futures, so I don't believe it's a good idea to teach them about bitcoin. This is because we can't force anyone to work in the bitcoin industry against their will, and I don't believe that a child can learn everything there is to know about bitcoin. Instead, I believe that they must first learn how to manage their finances and other essential skills.

As you may already be aware, purchasing bitcoin for a child will not be a simple process. If you take family responsibility seriously and consider purchasing some bitcoin for your child, I believe that is a mistake you should not do, especially if your earning potential is low.

People pick different route in life, but also the road step upon by children are mostly shaped or carved by the knowledge they acquire at a younger age or the environment they live in. OP’s idea of teaching his kids about bitcoin isn’t bad but I would just say the education should be based on financial education and not only bitcoin. The children should know how to save, safeguard their funds and how well to spend each them. I believe knowledge like this will definitely lead some towards bitcoin not necessarily till you tell them about it.

Also a parent could just open up a wallet and save some bitcoins in future for the children but all investments shouldn’t be in bitcoin only, there other store of values that it could be diversified to.

More so I don’t think our children will miss out like that on bitcoin, because if we look at the halving period, although 98% of bitcoin will be mined around 2030, it will take the year 2140 before mining of it is stopped which way to long for our children not to Benefit from it, but as they say the early bird catches the morning worms.

Why do you say that our children won't be lucky to find out about bitcoin ?
As far as I think they would be more than lucky because bitcoin would have been more established by that time.
So it would be even more easier for them to find out about bitcoin by themselves and buy some for themselves.
Furthermore, we as bitcoiner parents would definitely educate them about it and so nobody would be more luckier than them.

Bitcoin investment is not for children and teaching your children about Bitcoin you are not doing any good to them. Please allow the children to learn their children things, they already got some mathematical assignments bothering them. When they are of age, they can learn Bitcoin or even any other better technology that will be invoked then.

If you don't want your children to lose out of Bitcoin investment, then buy for them and store in a wallet, safety keep for them. When they are of age of handling investments, you hand it over to them, without disturbing them. That will be a better gift than bothering them with the things of bitcoin now.
