guess you are talking about a safe exchange that wont steal your money, if so i would recommend binance its the i use and alot of others and never realy had any problems with it and it has alot of objects to trade. highly recommend.

Nothing doubt and suprise most of all people the number one advise and recommended exchange is binance why because binance is a very trusted and popular exchange today and a lot of coins listed to be traded.
But I also recommend poloniex low transaction fees with have also a volume of coin listed there For OP try it to learn, and take note I'm not promoting binace I just want to share it.

Different exchange sites having different fees and characteristics on their services. But as what you'd said probably fair I think that is only on gambling site that not gives probably fair to their clients. Anyway, as far as I know, trading sites were most likely probably fair but they had different fee and services which is seeking those traders. You can check this link all fees and pieces of information on all exchanges are here.
https://forkdrop.io/#table-exchanges. You know also which decentralized or centralized exchanges.

Go for Binance, an easy pick and most trusted crypto exchange so far but I don’t know if they are fair or not but for sure they are legit site that can work for your needs in trading or investing. With regards to fees i think it will vary depend on the market price especially with bitcoin. Take note not to trust much any exchanges and put only small amount of money and don’t store your coin on any exchange.

Its hard to elaborate what exactly provably fair mean in exchange but it can be related with the trading volume. Lots of exchanges was known to have created fake trading volume to boost their ranking in past and many are still doing it specially the new one who want to get attention in market. Its hard to know which one is making fake trades by buying and selling same coin with automated bots in background, they even hide those trade orders from orderbook.

The exchanges which doesn't follow this practice might be considered as provably fair exchange. And apart from this exchanges that has fairly low commissions and fast support can also be considered as fair.

Interesting to see different definitions: provably fair with transactions vs provably fair market. One is a technical issue, the other relates to governance.

Thanks for making my day  Grin

Provably fair isnt suit out for exchange yet this would rather be seen on gambling online sites, maybe you do mean about Legitimate exchange sites?
Only stick out on the current top tier or best ones as of this moment. You can eventually check it out on CMC itself on which exchange is worth to use on.

It's not a high volume exchange because it hasn't yet launched, but I'm involved in a project that will do exactly this.

Every transaction you conduct will work and look exactly like it would on a normal exchange - although we're aiming for a better UI. The main difference is that it will all run on "Personal Blockchains". This is ensures accountability is built-in to the exchange - basically the default setting. This works by using stores-of-value in conjunction with an open-ended system of contracts, along with digital signatures. the result is a system that provides "proof-of-integrity": every transaction is provably fair.

Here's how it works:

- A request for service (e.g. trade order) is made, by way of a contract that is digitally signed by the trader
- The service request (e.g. trade execution) is filled and is is digitally signed by the exchange, alongside the service request itself
- Stores of value are consumed as outlined the contract
- These data in this transaction constitutes a single block in a chain established individually (and privately) between every trader and the exchange

Here's what this means:

- The exchange can prove that a service was requested, alongside the details of the request (the exchange has the order and its details, signed by the trader)
- The trader can prove the results of the service, as well as the details of the request (the user has the order fill details, signed by the exchange)
- Proof of consumption is done privately: only the request has and a list of nonces must be provided along with the digital signature

If something goes wrong in a transaction on the exchange side, the trader can prove it. If something goes wrong on the trader side, the exchange can prove it.

This will (hopefully) be a game changer for exchanges because it ensures that every single trader on the the exchange, and the exchange itself are "information-equals", for every single transaction.

The trader, and the exchange can establish the facts immediately and go about fixing any problem that arises, rather than make a claim and then face a counter-claim, before going on social media to berate the exchange, etc...

What do you mean provably fair exchange? It's not a casino like crypto-games.net, it doesn't need to randomly generate any results.

You simply place your buy order, and it is filled by the counterparty, very simple. If the money appears in your account, you know the order was filled.

With that said, check out BitMEX or Binance for starts, as they are the two major platforms.

I'm almost certain that provably fair is a term used in online gambling and not with exchanges and trading platforms.  Huh

Cobinhood is the only exchange with no trading fees, but not that recommended as there aren't many coins supported. I would suggest using Binance with BNB to get better fees.

Yeah, I got lost in words here, maybe what he meant is that a trading platform that is fair (no wash trading or fake volumes). I guess Binance is one good option to the OP.

Here is BTI latest report (https://www.bti.live/reports-april2019/). You can look at which trading platforms has fake volumes.
