He does not have worries if anything will happen to the account that is why he has the boldness to send unsolicited messages.
I am confused either the account is being operated by the original owner or by the scammer who has hacked the account. If hacker then s/he has nothing to do and hacker has nothing to loss. I think hacker may hack on the same way as we are getting message. If so then that is very bad for the original owner of the account.

Clearly this is someone's alt account, so he does not care about the negative rating he will get. It surprises me that he has not been kicked out yet. Moderators should be notified of all unsolicited messages of this type, and let them deal with him.
Looking at his post history https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/genrijst-730952, I have my doubts. I don't think it's an alt account, he's clearly on a mission to swindle folks, that's what he was doing before he left the forum in 2020, and he's back with another scheme, I'm not sure he'll get banned anytime soon, the mods have been lax on banning accounts recently.

Too bad the guy is so stupid that he does not understand he could have monetized this account in a more effective way, such as a bounty programs or signature campaigns. Huge mistake right here.
Not everyone is aware of or cares about signature or bounty campaigns, but in this case, this person is plainly a lazy and shitposter searching for a cheap loan and some amusing ways to scam. He had his 250 merits airdropped, and he hasn't earned a single merit since 2018.

He does not have worries if anything will happen to the account that is why he has the boldness to send unsolicited messages.
I'm certain he has no ideal how the DT system works.

he believes scamming is more easy and he thinks he can get a huge amount if he scams. Scammers don't think upright, they see working to make money as a waste of time, they just have zeal to take what does not belong to them in a corny way.

I don't know what's best to be done to him, but should stop him/her before someone gets scammed.
Unsolicited message. Like some others suggested report the PM to the moderators. They will ban him. First I though this was coming from a newbie but it surprised me a Sr. Member account was trying it. The account either not his, he bought it for sure or he has bunches of alts and do not care about the account.
It is same as newbie account or something like that as the account has got all the merits on the airdrop, there was no earned merit and that is why the account doesn't seem to much worthy. As a result those accounts are being used on the unsolicited message on the forum by which the scammer may take advantage by scamming.

He is very funny, I'm still thinking why should he expect money from forum users by begging just like that
He is not the only person who try to gather fund like that. You can find out a lot of forum users who does something like begging at lending board. And this type of thing usually happen by the newly created account/accounts and/or from negatively trusted account/accounts.

Scammers are too much to the extent of begging for money for different users, i believe that if the person using the account is not rightful owner of the account, begging is against the law of bitcointalk forum, i think the user deserve more flag as punishment, viewing the profile according to the link dropped here, user changed email recently.

He is very funny, I'm still thinking why should he expect money from forum users by begging just like that, if begging is what he does there are easy places outside the forum(streets) where begging to gain money will be easy. He should be aware that the forum is againt begging

When you are a scammer, you consider all means and methods of scamming. They will exhaust all the means in order to at least scam a person to take advantage of such unfortunate situation happening globally. Imagine, if he were to send that personal message to hundreds of forum users, there is no guarantee that everyone will ignore it- MAYBE there could be at least one forum user that would strike and start a conversation with him in which the latter would be compelled to donate money.

Again, ignore this kind of messages. Forum rules state that there should be no begging. You can also report him to the moderators so he could receive appropriate sanctions.

I also received the same kind of PM from the same user today. Obviously, he is a scammer. I have reported his unsolicited PM to the mods, hopefully he receives a ban.

I didn't get a PM from that user, but I can't remember when I even got something like that - I wonder how scammers choose who to send a PM to ....?

But since mods seem to be so slow in banning users these days, in a meantime, I am going to tag and flag the profile

If something has not changed, when you report PM, then it goes directly to the admin/s, not the moderators. I wonder if begging is punishable by a ban at all, or it could be judged by the number of unsolicited messages that user has sent?

Thank you for sharing this, I think I'm the only one who got pm's from him, early reading it I immediately realized that he was a scammer so directly reported his message and support flag from Bitcoin_Arena.

I receive the PM too but I don't want to conclude that he is a scammer since he is already a senior member rank to do the scam accusation. I believe its more appropriate to tag him as beggar since we can't confirm if he is really Russian or not. His money begging via PM is already worthy to banned while scam accusation here in the forum is not moderated so we can take necessary action for him as a beggar than a scammer since he is clearly violating the forum rules.
I will not judge someone whether he is a scammer or others based on the ranking he has but more to his actions, maybe you are right that is more appropriate to pin on him is a beggar than a scammer but whatever it is I do not consider his actions as a thing to be believed.

I saw the post from that person and guessed a little, it looks like he is a gamer, maybe he ran out of money to play games and tried to get it from "begging another member". Just ignore it because nowadays many scammers disguise themselves as people who are struggling to make ends meet.

I am pretty sure the account compromised somehow, otherwise a Sr. ranked member won't beg for $80 only where he knows the account will get a ban. A real owner won't do this DM anyway. However, reporting to admins is enough to punish that user. And thanks for sharing with the community, other members would be aware now about this begger.

Hello, I wanted to ask, can you help financially, gratuitously, I'm from Russia, we don't have enough money for food, medicines, utilities, it became very difficult after the invasion, sanctions are pressing hard, besides the government itself also contributes to this, the people are already without the source, please, no please help me.
I do not know if it is still possible to withdraw from wallets or not, I have no idea, but please help! Can you transfer to a wallet DOGE DBRzb9s4atyBnm7qYxMdab8EBefMHCzE4H I'm sorry, I forgot to specify the amount, I'm sorry that I'm being impudent, the final amount needs $ 80

It was odd that a Senior rank would write me anything like this, so I checked my computer to see if it was an inactive account, and I wasn't surprised, it was openly displayed on his profile.
The way the user communicated in English is strange and it is possible that the account was sold else the real owner would have made a report of theft since 2 years ago the account was last active and ever since 2020, the account has been hunting for non-collateral loans and now begging in PMs.

I also just opened the message from that person but lucky you have tagged it so thanks for that it really helps so I don't get fooled by scammers who are really taking advantage of the momentum. Regardless of whether it was true or not, the method of asking for donations by sending a PM would be very suspicious. Here we have a clear procedure if we really want to donate.

snip
wouldn't this fall to the rule of "no unsolicited PMs"?

Yeah, that's why I said report it, but I don't know if he will get banned for this, or if he has been suspended the first time he tried this, I actually don't know even if somebody has reported him at all to date, so it's up to the mods.  Unfortunately, even if he gets banned with this account there is nothing stopping him from creating another one and starting from scratch, he might even have another alt already.
That's the reason for saying this is all that can be done, it's impossible to completely stop a scammer around here.

You will always meet people like this in your pm telling things like what you have reported,  all you need to do is to put them in your ignor list. But you have done very well by bringing it up to reputation so that newbies who are new in the forum won't fall for it when they see similar case just as this one .
