Peace be with you!
A small japanese village named, Nishiawakura is making their economy much more beneficial with the help of cryptocurrencies by launching a Initial Coin Offering. I think it is a best way to help some small villages to grow up with really good profits and also it might bring the cryptocurrencies some more close to legalisation.

The village is home of approximately 1500 villagers and and they unveiled their plans to launch a regional initial coin offering.

This is a perfect head start and i hope that several such villages can soon adapt this strategy to strengthen their economy
Yeah very interesting step to further help and improve the economy. Japan has it's way of treating crypto as their priority most especially investors as it is a decentralized asset and I know that Japan would becoming the worlds  first to fully adopt crypto most especially Bitcoin. If other villages arround the world would make such move then I think  crypto will be a big thing and blockchain technology will be used in different purposes and there will be a chance that government will legalize it for convenience.

Interesting fact about this village. I cant imagine someone came up with that idea and it is going to work just fine because thats the unique plan and if all the villagers are supporting this type of ICO for their own benefit then surely it will work with full solitude! People know that they are raising the funds for their own good and thus making it even solid project. If there is more organic crowd or investors then such projects will no doubt get hiked very fast. I think I will watch more news about this as to know what exactly would be benefits and can we get in to support it as sponsors or not.  Smiley

The surprising thing about this is that the executive government of Japan has allowed this bold move as even though they have stated that it is there way of moving away from the centralized system. Although I am still skeptical on how this move will affect their economy as certainly they are also the ones buying their own coin, one wrong buyer who has control can certainly affect the price of NAC. If this is their way of keeping up I think they have the wrong idea of ICOs as certainly they have other things to improve on.

It's interesting how the people think about ICO, but it need more realistic usage of ICO, if the ICO being launched without a proper foundation then it can make the people lose money and the coin will be useless, and I must say its a bold move to create this kind of ICO, but I am quite pessimistic that the coin could succeed, and rely on decentralised currency to strengthen village economic seems a bit dangerous

I hope that they at least have something interesting that they're going to do with their ICO instead of just kicking another shitcoin into the market. It's starting to get boring when it seems like every second coin is just some copy-paste under a different name. At least make it something interesting in the sense that it relates to their local industries - meaning forestry, according to the article. It doesn't have to be fancy, just something better than a general token that'll be forgotten about.

Well, it is a big gamble in my eyes but still, it is a good one. I think that if this village succeeds at what they are aiming for, then the village along with all the people that live within it will truly prosper. This is a good news for us crypto enthusiasts because their success will also be our success because it will show the world how useful cryptos really are.

The Japanese government's attitude toward cryptocurrency is positive!
They develop their own economy through cryptocurrency!
But this small Japanese village, without any technical support and financial support, released ico. I think it's hard for anyone to participate in their project. I think this project will fail!
I think it will prosper because Japanese people and the government is  in full support of cryptocurrency, while if this village introduced ICO in their own, the people will support, during selling period, and the community project will prosper by means of crowd financing even internationally.

They are intelligent people they know how to take their village economically stronger and they know all the benefits of cryptocurrencies. That is why they are taking the help of cryptocurrencies and they are starting their initial coin offering to collect the funds for the development of their village and to give the start to crptocurrency in their village.

This look very intresting for cryptocurrency future, slowly but sure crypto keep growing and growing.

How about bitcoin ? can bitcoin keep up ? and keep being the number 1 crypto currency ?  Roll Eyes
Dont expect for bitcoin to interfere with this kind of scenarios because it wont really be considered or to be part on what they are planning to.
The thing i do like is their motive on making such ICO, their target to enhance economy wont really be bad but the thing hesitates me anytime is who would be the one to handle such thing? Government? It would be still pointless if thats the case.

As happy as I was with the initiative being taken by the village in harnessing the potentials that ICO and crypto currency can offer in general, its was short lived by the article which was not detailed enough for anyone who is out to get succinct information for decision making rather than being referred to another site to know the basic details on what the project is all about. Raising ICO is really not the problem as it can be regarded as crowd funding but what matters is what the fund is to be used for and the return that is expected by those who believe in the project.

The article didn't state specifically what how the amount generated will be applied neither did it make mention of the expected returns. For me I would be a little bit skeptical because for a village with 1500 villagers whose primary source of livelihood is forestry, I won't be surprised if white collar consultants from the big cities are the ones behind the ICO using the community as a cover up to have a working project.

It's no wonder to hear about Japan, where they've been using cryptocurrency without a lot of obstacles, it's true that it will be very helpful in strengthening an economy, if the initial coin they give to the village will always improve over time, considering where a lot of altcoin which are not successful at this time, I hope they are very quick to take a very good step for the future, so that its development can be calculated for the whole world.

This has been one among the trending news around the cryptocurrency news portal, Japan being the nation that supports digital growth with bitcoin acceptance and a village from the same nation coming up with such a plan makes it more interesting. Possibly they have planned to integrate blockchain into all municipal activities. Hope this change gets followed throughout.

Your country may be your worst enemy
Terrible idea! What will be the value of that new crypto outside of this small town? Is this an invention to force the people to spend their wealth in a single little place? Sorry, but I only love BTC, because I know I can use it all over the world.

No matter how small a village is but once it has started using cryptocurrency, soon will turn into a great city. The power of cryptocurrency is so great that it can do great wonders. If a village is using cryptocurrency at this point in time will help to create employment avenues for the villagers and soon they will develop
