I think this is true. certainly in most areas of investment and trade in all occupations. It requires knowledge, ability to learn, effort. Not necessarily knowledge from education will bring success. But when it includes some elements it becomes a unified and complete to create success. In fact, sometimes there are exceptions like genius like Bill Gate. Having enough knowledge about the basics is already given because we won't be able to begin with crypto without enough knowledge about it. I agree that an educated trader are the successuccessful trader because been successful is the act of been thrive in a business expenditure and the level of information ones acquire determine the level of ones success.

As for me, I believe that skills matter as well. Being educated is given because we won't be able to do trading successfully without having enough knowledge about it. However, I think it doesn't necessarily mean that we must gain any degree but we must just have enough skills about the basics of trading.

I really don't think that reading charts can be useful in crypto trading. We are too low in volume for technical analysis, and a lot of outside factors can crush or pump te price outside the margins...
Education is something else. If you know how blockchain works, and know how to recognise where it can be commercialized, invest in that coin + patience , and then you must be successful trader-investor.

Not all are educated in trading because it depends to your strategy how to handle and to trade. Being educated is an added advantage since you can learn faster. To learn more/ understand technical analysis requires reading/studying. If one is trading without a strategy or following/ using a particular technique, then it may be described as gambling. Being educated is an added advantage but, in my opinion, It is not an absolute requirement.
i dont think so. especially not in crypto market. when we check who made most profits in 2017, we can see that newbie and uneducated traders could one more comparing with experts, because they were blindly buying and it was a huge bull run that noone experienced before.
Anyone can be a trader, but a successful trader is always an educated trader. He knows how to analyze charts, he knows about upcoming coin events. He knows when to buy currency or sell. He's not greedy and he's diversifying his portfolio.
