Most people that panic don't do their homework about bitcoin. Remember bitcoin plunged to 3k in 2020 after rising to an ATH of 20k in 2017. Only the wise traders will understand that it's never too late to hold a single satoshi. Because, the market is meant for everyone to benefit from. I don't see the price of bitcoin pegged to dollar as a treat when it drops or increases. Enjoy the dip while it last, soon same people will regret why they didn't buy now and end up buying bitcoin when it hits 50k.

There are some people who seem to forget very quickly. I was just thinking about the year 2020, when the price of bitcoin dropped by 50% at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. Those who missed the opportunity later complained that they should have invested at the time. The same people are probably now complaining that prices have dropped. They do not realize they are once again missing out on an opportunity.

The best time to buy is always using DCA / Dollar Cost Averaging. If anyone ever tells you that they know exactly when the market is going to rise and fall they are full of it. The best way to invest in anything, for the most part, is by utilizing a DCA strategy. You’ll buy towards the higher ends and lower ends but the main thing is you’re not trying to time the market which is very difficult to do.
Unlike the market movement it is always good to use the Dollar Cost Average practice. This will help to get the bitcoin at the best price. Maybe if one have planned at $31k, the he/she should buy with the partial capital and if it declines further need to buy a small portion with the remaining capital. Now if we calculate the average using which we've bought it. We have got the best price.

People are always waiting for the perfect dip to start building their btc portfolio, however they are never sure what the perfect dip is. After all, they end not buying any satoshis because they have waited for too long and then suddenly bitcoin price has become bullish again. That is why it's a mistake to go for the dip. Just go for the cheap price to guarantee your holdings.

Maybe bitcoin at 30,400$ isn't the perfect opportunity to buy, but it's a good opportunity anyway. And it's always better to guarantee a good opportunity than missing the perfect one... Greedy isn't present in investors' behavior only when selling, but also when purchasing their coins. On long run, it can be devastating if not noticed and controlled by the investor inside himself.

DCA is good as always specially on dealing on something that has  potential in terms of recovery or making u-turn of its value which Bitcoin do really fits but the main problem for this one is that not all does have the

funds or money to invest on to sustain that DCA method. It do always reaches out to the point on which you dont have money to secure out those lower positions or value.
Even myself do really wait up for this drop to happen and im waiting a bit more before considering on buying. It would be a hit or miss in speaking of bottom price.

I do not think that people really "expected" it, I mean sure there were some that claims that bitcoin will go down at all times, there are people who say that bitcoin will be zero as well and I laugh at those people, I guarantee you that it will never be zero, NEVER, and I rarely ever guarantee anything but zero is something guaranteed.

There must be some millionaires and billionaires out there who would buy ALL available bitcoins at a thousand or so dollars which is why it's impossible to go down that much. This is just a mere drop, markets go down time to time and that's what we are living right now and nothing more than that, that's it.

Hello 👋
Okay, presently I want to ask why the sudden panicking around the media and forum here.
I could ones remembered when bitcoin was +$69k and everyone seems to be panicking for the price to get 32k or below. Today we have another chance to buy very low yet people still waiting for the price to drop even more lower.
I want to know when is the best time to buy or waiting more dip to buy and what if the price turns back to bull?
What do we do?

I think we can't really pinpoint exact date or time to buy, even traders do have margins. I myself buy Bitcoin whenever I feel like it and have the money to, and the same goes for alts too. It doesn't matter when I bought it, I sell it when I need it or if I see I have gained decent profits already. People are scared to lose, and that is not the case for me, if I lose so be it and I will gladly accept it. Making mistakes is normal, but not learning from them is a different matter. So buy now, or regret the feelings later. If they are afraid to buy and are waiting for the price to drop even further, they could've bought a portion, and buy again when it goes down, and again. I don't know what is the term for it but this is what my other colleagues does and it works for them.

It seems that this branch has become an indicator of which of us is a pessimist or vice versa. No matter what happens to Bitcoin, there are those who rejoice and those who cry. But what unites everyone is that people believe in bitcoin. Now is the time to buy, just as it was during the growth. Those who complain that they will not have time to buy because of the high price will complain even now without buying, expecting a bigger drop. Well, the rest will just wait. If you are very nervous, try to forget to check the course. This will make you stronger. Everything will fall back into place with the passage of time.

Now those people who has been waiting for a huge drop because they wanted to go all-in and spend all their funds to buy as much as possible, are afraid to buy, because with such huge drops, price might got even lower. Fear index proves that. Now more motivational "hold" posts appear more than sharing results of how much they have bought this deep. The only who shares such info is Nayib Bukele, that says El Salvador has bought another 500 BTC.

For every seller there's a buyer. Saying that people are afraid to buy now is pretty naive. It's just that in the recent days we had volume that exceeds the number of buy orders.

Think of it like this: there are companies that buy on regular basis. There are investors who dollar cost average and buy weekly or monthly, but all of them have certain limits. Say they all combined take out 1k BTC from an exchange per week. There are also people waiting for an opportunity like traders and they can technically put orders to catch the bottom for another 1k BTC. Then, suddenly 3k btc come in from some Wall Street fund that got liquidated on Amazon or Netflix and has to cover the balance with other things and they happen to have bitcoin so they dump it. The buyers cannot handle it now, even though they'd be able to do it given a few more weeks. That's why price falls, but it doesn't mean that it's at the panic level. It just gets thrown out of balance and needs time to get it back.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
Hello 👋

What do we do?

The only ones who are actually panicking are the newbies who do not really yet believe in their Bitcoin investment. So they flip flop between selling and buying until their entire stash has been burned away from losses and fees. Especially fees.

Either you hodl, and if you are a bit adventurous, you can do some trading. But from my experience, hodling is always the best option.

Well, either way all newbies usually panic and make losses. Its an expensive life lesson in investing that everyone usually goes through.

I am not a good trader so something like this happens what I do is to buy 20% at 30k, 10% at 29k and so on but I am not sure how low the price could get but as of now I think buying is the right decision but if the price goes more lower I know in myself that I did the right thing the time I bought my coins and just hold it.

Actually it's another great chance to those crying around saying how I wish I got it then it was very low.
I almost fall prey for the significant drop but I was to trade to stable coin and secure my funds little bit maybe after going through some analysis over here then I will know how to buy again. From about post, seems the dip will be little longer before taking correction or gain momentum, also looking forward another ATH will take months as some speculated over.

Hi all. I'm new here. Just thought I'd make an introduction like this. Regarding the author's question, I agree with your opinion, I keep gaining a long position on BTC. My first limit order triggered on exchange wowswap (I don't work on centralized exchanges) at $34,720, now another one triggered at $33,200. Honestly, I didn't think it would go below $34k, but I see it as a good entry point

Maybe I would say you buy at higher entry point
😝 Presently dipping down to $29k and you think you bought at dip?
So I will likely keep in mind to have relative look at the price again but I m strongly sure it will dip to $25k and BNB $200.

What are your thoughts..

My thoughts are turning into "Bitcoin 4-year cycle conspiracy" direction. We are in 2018 right now, when Bitcoin price went from $20k to $4k. I believe there is nothing to catch in Bitcoin this year, if you are holder. Just wait for next year and better concentrate on own fiat financial stability until the end of this year, as it looks like to be tough. The trust in crypto has greatly shaken during last 24 hours, as stable coins turned out to be not that stable after all.

I myself think now is the right time for DCA. or start to buy in installments little by little. while waiting for certainty it will go down further or there will be a bounce from here. $30,000 is the determination. and now the price is still strong in this area.

Although some analysts are expecting a possible under $30,000 as analyst and chief executive at Factor Peter Brandt said on Twitter he said “Now $28,000 is widely accepted as predicting a decline. I was forced to change my view. Either the price stays above US$ 30 thousand or goes past US$ 28 thousand," said Peter via the Twitter account @PeterLBrandt

The best time to buy is always now if you plan to accumulate Bitcoin over time.

What do we do?

Hodl, wait for the market to improve, relax, watch movies, discuss stuff, whatever entertains you.  Just don't sell your holding at this bear market if you are currently at a lost.  Better if you buy the dip!

Believe me, people like us will not buy even at this dump. They will wait for more dumps and we will see then start moving up. Once get started moving up then we will jump to buy and pump more. That's our behavior and how the market moves. But those clever investors don't miss this chance. They always make money and we lose. So I don't think we should wait for more dump though there is a possibility. We don't know what would be the bottom.
None is sure about the bottom price, but more bearish prediction comes out rather than bullish move. This too a reason why people wait for further dump. As stated whenever there is drop, there is fear of investing. Only when the price starts moving upwards people pour the money buying bitcoin. The market seems like reaching $25k, however when someone is making a buy it's his personal to analyse and do. Because suggestion too could cause big loss/profit.
Waiting for the further dump are the biggest mistake , especially for those who have waiting for this moment to come for so long ... you might missed it again and again to get bitcoin in huge bargain! just keep bbuying everytime it gets dropped .. make sure that you have managed the bankroll , not just bbuy and buy without any timeline / planning in it.

i can't see the price could fall to $25k in the near future , the price might backup before even hit below $29k
