Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin
_snip_

You see, the people that were crying out loud and regretting that they didn't but when the price was down, it same peers of people will be the one shouting that the market is about to collapse, check them on any crypto talk platforms, they will be so blindly happy.
Instead of them to take the discount price and buy the amount they can, they will come back next bull cycle with another story on how they didn't take the advantage of this.

There is no perfect price to buy bitcoin, if there were, Elon would have waited for this moment before buying his bitcoins but instead they bought around 38k dollars. The goal is to buy and hold and wait for some times, that's the only way you can enjoy bitcoin, always aim for the long time and you will be willing t continue to hold.

I believe bitcoin would drop further to 30k or 29k dollars and maybe there we can decide whether it is the right time to buy.

You should have an evidence to backup you statement, you believe or you feel the price will crash more.

Hello 👋
Okay, presently I want to ask why the sudden panicking around the media and forum here.
I could ones remembered when bitcoin was +$69k and everyone seems to be panicking for the price to get 32k or below. Today we have another chance to buy very low yet people still waiting for the price to drop even more lower.
(.....)
Very normal emotions of most the people, that is the best example of what hype is. People tend to be greedy and they are happy when the price is high. And look now, here we are on what people asking and they are afraid now.
For me, the current price level is very oversold so yeah a lot of people are selling and most of the bears are pushing the price down. I even saw a lot of people in Twitter that their target is around $28,000.

I want to know when is the best time to buy or waiting more dip to buy and what if the price turns back to bull?
What do we do?

There is no perfect timing for us to buy Bitcoin. It should be on our own instincts regardless of the price that it has right now. There are scenarios such as this:

BTC pulled back to $34k, but you asked "Is this a good time to buy?", but you didn't.
BTC pulled back to $33k, but you asked the same thing and didn't take action.
BTC pulled back to $30k, but you asked the same thing and didn't take action again.
BTC suddenly pumped back to $35k, and then you said "How I wish I did bought some" and regretted it.

Some people are hesitant to buy when it's cheap, fearing that it might go lower and may lose even more. But the thing is no matter how skilled we are in looking at the charts, reading the candlesticks, getting updated with the trends, etc., there are no promises or guarantees about the movement of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies out there.

Hi all. I'm new here. Just thought I'd make an introduction like this. Regarding the author's question, I agree with your opinion, I keep gaining a long position on BTC. My first limit order triggered on exchange wowswap (I don't work on centralized exchanges) at $34,720, now another one triggered at $33,200. Honestly, I didn't think it would go below $34k, but I see it as a good entry point

We haven't seen a market recovery after some bear market downturn, I'm speculating the market recovery will come once the market stabilizes and it will happen very quickly, but many traders still doubt the market lows as they assume the market will drop lower than the current price.

Buying the dip is not about seeing price drop and you just jump in to a market direction you can't properly account for what if it falls further. To buy the dip at least there should be a confirmation of a new bullish trend after the dip so one can properly account for his/her decision to either buy or wait a little more. Crypto is very volatilie so rushing into investment can be very disastrous

This is what I really don't understand about some people and this becomes a common instinct among poor people. Instead of taking this opportunity to buy more, they even think negatively and wait when the price to recover and then they start buying. While these rich people and those who trust Bitcoin are already filling their bags in preparation for the upcoming pump.

Today is the best time to buy, we don't wait until tomorrow as the market moves indefinitely. Who knows that by tomorrow it bounces back to $40k, that is regretting.

Only the naysayers are panicking, no one else! I would say start accumulating bitcoin in slow pace. Keep an open eye to the volatility and keep on buying in little quantities. If you have 1000 dollars to invest, break it up in 10 parts of 100 dollars each. That will average out your buying price to keep the risk low.

But do not expect that the market will come back up anytime soon. So plan your investment for alteast 2 - 3 years timeframe.

I want to know when is the best time to buy or waiting more dip to buy.

Personally, I honestly do not think there is an actual time that is the best time to buy, bitcoin market is a large market and it is not possible for everyone in the world to be buying or selling bitcoin at the same time, this is out of market characteristics, your decision and my decision to either buy or sell should be born out of yours and my research respectively, this means, you alone can decide when you want to buy or sell, and also, I alone can decide when to buy or sell, it's a personal thing, there is no general side to it.

You can either FOMO in (if you are a risk taker) or sit and watch supposedly big gains pass you by, there is no two ways to it, the market does not know or respect anybody, you either learn how to flow with the market or sit and watch those who know how to while they make their money.

Panic? I'm not panicking to see bitcoin's price still dropping because this is a good moment to buy at this price and other lows. But I don't know if other people will do the same as me buying at a low price or if they are still waiting and hoping the price can hit their target price.

I think we have the best time to buy or sell differently because the analysis we use is also different. But I guess you already know that if the price drops sharply then it could be the best time to buy but you have to analyze further to find out. If the price returns to the bull market and you bought it some time ago, then you can sell it for a profit.

And yeah, most people have been waiting for this thing to happen again and I know a few people that are just waiting for this dip. Though I think there are some doubts in their mind because most of them are saying that a possible 2018 scenario might takes place again just like what most people here keeps on saying, but for me, it is still to early to decide whether it can happen or not. We should always keep an eye on the market and see if the support would be broken and whether the downtrend would still continue just like what happened in 2018.

Even if bitcoin goes bullish it's not like the price will go above $60k overnight. We will get sufficient time to get back in.
I am sure that we will see many corrections once the trend is reversed and we see the new ATH.
So the reason why many people are waiting for further dip is so that they can buy more at lower costs which makes sense.

Bitcoin dropped drastically for those who are waiting to buy bitcoin at a low price this is a great opportunity to buy bitcoin because the bitcoin price has dropped 50% from the highest price, can also wait in the next few days maybe the bitcoin price will go down again I see this may be repeated like in 2018 .

From little investigation, it has dropped more than 50% of ATH but same story all time and all day.
So I think people should always utilized their opportunity and little time gotten, this is real time to get on the moving train 🚆.

because people are uncertain and scared. you can't really blame them for their reaction and it is expected that every time bitcoin's price goes down there will be people who are panicking(especially people who are new to bitcoin).

I want to know when is the best time to buy or waiting more dip to buy and what if the price turns back to bull?

just like what NeuroticFish said, there is no bad time or good time to buy BTC, always buy or sell at the price you are comfortable with.

Also with interest rates as high as they are now if you were borrowing to buy BTC it's going to not be as attractive.
If you OWED money for somthing with a variable APR you might have sold some BTC (even at a loss) instead of paying more interest.
And with US I-Bonds and others paying OVER 9% at the moment some people might be investing there.

Just my view.

$32k means 50% down from all time high. It is a point of double bottom too. Therefore, I think that Bitcoin will bounce back strongly from $32k.

But I don't expect Bitcoin to turn back to bullish. It won't return its trend quickly and we won't see a V shape rally from $32k to $69k. There will be a long time for accumulation in months before the market will be warmed up again before 2024 halving.

Because people now are uncertainty about what will happen with Bitcoin, up or down, fall more or rally strongly. From uncertainty, they will response from panic to FOMO with Bitcoin bounce. I expect to see big green and big red candles in next few days around $32k.

Cryptocurrency is a very volatile asset class with many ups and downs. As a result, many people believe they should try to plan their investments by purchasing within specified windows in order to acquire the best price.
Everything in crypto is always evolving. If you're trying to time your purchases, this could be an issue. For the term, though, i think the ideal time to buy is near the end of the month. From my observations, the first ten days of the month, the prices usually experience a rise, followed by a price drop (due to people selling after price hikes) in the second half of the month. You can also acquire Bitcoin and hold it for a long time if you want to make a bigger profit. As more individuals purchase and utilize Bitcoin, the value and purchasing power of the BitCoin you purchase today may increase. Keeping your Bitcoin is also a good idea if you bought it while the price was quite high. Not only will you avoid losing money, but you might even make money in the long run. The value of Bitcoin will, of course, fluctuate. If you follow the market, your purchasing power will increase rather than decrease as a result of inflation.

Okay, presently I want to ask why the sudden panicking around the media and forum here.

There are always moonboys showing up when the price grows and doomsday preachers when the price falls.
And the media always tries to squeeze stories from price movements, no matter the direction.

While the price looks bad, in other similar 4-year-cycles, at this stage may have been much worse.
The only thing is that with so rich institutional investors around and with so many telling "this time it'll be different", this drop came somewhat unexpected to many.

I want to know when is the best time to buy or waiting more dip to buy and what if the price turns back to bull?

I can't tell how will this go on. I also thought it's different this time and at least no longer go this low.
What I can tell that it's usually no bad time and no good time to buy bitcoin. Best may be to DCA. (However, please do with your money as you decide.)

I don't think there is a suitable time to buy. Looking for a dip will take one a long time because at present, the market is also volatile. The best thing to do is buy now and hodl regardless of the market trend because even if it falls deeper, one buys more. We are expecting a bull run in 2023-24 during the next BTC halving.
