although there are statistics that we can analyze to determine bets. Sometimes the results are beyond the predictions we make. but in a match where one team really favors one from the available statistics, of course, the Odds offer isn't that good either. we are usually stuck there to bet safe with smaller odds. in the hope that the chances of victory that we will get are greater.
What makes it interesting is the match between the two teams which statistically have almost the same strength. The odds may be smaller, but the odds offered will be better.
However, gambling still places our bets on luck. we can be wrong and also can be right to get victory.

This question is rather noob if you ask me, but all the same, it's perfectly understandable.
Like you've stated, gamblers playing slot games are chasing after the maximum win, and even though majority of this gambler end up losing their money several and several times, still, this has not deterred them and other gamblers from playing ..

It is still the same reason behind why people are still doing sports betting, big team in sports will not always win , and they will not always loss either, this is why it's called a game, and it is why it is interesting in the first place..
If we ever arrive at a stage where big teams are always winning and never a loss, watching sports will become very boring, and so will sports betting become too, as we all know that , knowing the end from the beginning make entire experience uninteresting.

You are only taking into consideration the viewpoint of the losers. If a stronger team lost to a weaker team, it doesn't make sports betting worthless. To those who believed in the weaker team and risked money, they'd be celebrating.

But the point of sports betting is that your bet could be an informed bet. It isn't like any luck-based gambling game. You have stats, game play, chemistry, skills, strengths and weaknesses, and so on to analyze.

If I were to place a bet in a luck-based game, I can't be confident in it. The result would be random. But if I were to place a bet on a team or a player, I can be confident because that bet is backed by analysis.

There may be surprises in the end, but you can always make something out of it. You can even learn a lesson out of it and use it in your next bet. In a luck-based game, you just move on immediately.

You answered your own question, when it comes to the rest of the games the probabilities are absolute, and while there are short term deviations over the long term your results should align perfectly with the probabilities.

However when it comes to sport bets this is not the case as literally anything can happen in a match, and such unpredictability reduces the advantage the house has over the players, so instead of looking at that unpredictability with suspicious eyes you should instead be happy that exists at all.

It's fun. People bet not exactly because money is involved (at least some), but rather to make a simple "watching a game" contain some sort of thrill. The concept of watching the game itself is fun don't get me wrong, but adding that sense of "bet" creates a concept that you're with a very specific team/player for that match, and that creates a lot of interest in yourself since you're siding in one side completely, unlike without a bet where you may or may not side with one team. That idea creates a sort of enjoyment imo since you're able to create reactions sincerely because you were expecting your team to win during the match.

If I just wanted to earn money I wouldn't go to gambling really.

This is why it is called football because it is full of surprises. This is the reason why gamblers bet on the matches because you can't just say because this club is the strongest therefore he must win an underdog. Most times our predictions don't come true because these players are human and can't be on their best performance all the time. Sportbet is fun and I so gamble to have fun,this is why I don't care if I loss my bet because I only gamble with the amount I can avoid to loss and not to make profit from the game.

There's an interest that's why there's an eagerness to just play and play. It's like a regular habit now for these bettors to place a bet no matter what especially if te match or league is their favorite to watch and follow even prior to engaging in the sports betting world.

A lot of people are attracted to the sport and they are playing it because of the joy they derive from it and some people are into sports betting because they know alot about the sports and it better to bet on games you can predict and not just bet based on pure luck. I also prefer sports betting to every other kind of bet because i know the strength of most of the clubs and it’s easier to predict the outcome even though sometimes it doesn’t always happen just like what happen today. A different outcome other than the anticipated one always happen every week, one of the so called big teams will surely fumble and lose to a certain small team so it is left to us to find out the one to likely lose of pray for luck instead.

There are still profitable bets out there that not a lot of people see. This is where some sports bettor place their bets on, and they win big. If some bets lose and some bets don't, wouldn't it be the same case to casino games wherein some rolls you win, and some rolls you lose?

Saying that sports betting is no longer profitable nor enjoyable is just plainly wrong. I think a game one knows so well as football would come easy to bet on if given the chance to. I don't really bet much, but when I do I know exactly why I am doing so.
It comes easy to do so firstly because I take out time to either view a live match on my device or at a viewing centre, and I enjoy doing so.
Even if the skill is lacking for now to bet and win big, I know it takes a consistent effort at betting to develop one and a good read of the teams to bet on.
Also, it's a choice. Peer pressure or social influence can make one develop the nack to bet, but it comes down to the individual to know if that's what they really want to be doing consistently or occasionally.
