Coins-e is friendly to new crypto currency users,
Not only are we a well trusted exchange, but the wide rage of currencies we have gives noobs instant access to many wallet addresses in one place.

https://coins-e.com

I just observed your site is not responding......
Coins-E has been working fine every single time i checked it the last week, maby it's something wrong with your internet connection, or some node on the internet between you and there site ?

....I wanted to check out the site and see the free coin faucets you have available there to see.....
I think you mixed up his post and the one after, i don't think Coins-E has any faucets there, at least i haven't seen any.

There's lots of other sites(Btc-E, Cryptsys, Mcxnow, Bter, Crypto-trade and Vircurex(Vircurex is probably insolvent thou after they lost(or stole) the equivalent of 2500 btc from the exchange and then starting to steal the dividend from there minority shareholders witch they have been doing for the last 3 months now, so it's best to awoid vircurex for now until they paid what they owe there shareholders), where you can trade atcoins thou, but Coins-E seems to be where you are able to trade most coins.

BTC-e.com is also a very good exchange that uses multiple alt coins. It is also very reliable compared to mtgox and you don't need to send them your first born to register.

Also, What sort of good pools are available on your site?
Are they ad sponsored or free.

I am looking for a program to mine as well as to acquire a lot of bitcoins. I know you think its impossible, i am willing to devote as much time to this as possible. Obviously, I am a newbie to this, but i will get the hand of it in time, i believe.

I am always on the look out for good info with regards to mining bitcoins. I love this forums.

To date apart of Litecoin, exist some other currency with a significant scope or providing something extra (features)?

Devcoin has a lot of potential, and just had its 2nd birthday.  You can buy them on Vircurex and invest them on Cryptostocks.

BQC had it's day. Oh you crazy alts!

Alt coins can become useful, I think, if people start accepting them for services or goods. That's all that is missing.

I completely agree. I'll be offering such a service soon.
Long Live BQC!

Hi, I just wanted to suggest a pool I am mining on (a measly 120 MHash/s....actually signed up on here so I look into buying some ASIC USB miners I saw someone is selling) but I thought I would suggest the pool I am mining in: http://mmpool.bitparking.com/pool.  It simultaneously mines Bitcoins, Namecoins, devcoins, and ixcoins (no idea what ixcoins are).  I have not read through all the pages of this thread so sorry if this has been suggested.

I used to use that pool. I became disenchanted because it would often take more than a day to find a block, and then sometimes it would be orphaned. I moved to ABC, where you simply get paid per share, and enjoyed getting the same amount of BTC every day. Unfortunately, they're now closing. I'm now on 50BTC. I also like BTC Guild, but they've been encouraging people to move on because they're getting too big.

But since that really has nothing to do with alt coins, I'll also mention I'm trying some XPM (Primecoin) mining. It's still in the solo CPU mining stages.

I wonder if any reason for LTC and FTC to exist except to give a chance those who were late to mine BTC. Well, the "silver" thing seems to have worked out for LTC, but FTC? IMO it makes the whole thing look like pyramid, they "follow" LTC's software updates and everything.

P.S. And yes, I just want out of the sandbox so I can go to burnside and complain about my locked account.

I doubt you will reach your ROI with those single-chip miners, but good luck. What do they make per day now?
