For a while i have been using services such as coinwarz and wheretomine, though "problem" i have been facing is where to mine the alt coins in a efficient way (pool).

Lets say these sites tell me a prediction of 1000 coins per day, then i find a pool that has a stable block finding rate, now the actual number of coins are not even close to the predicted number, ofc i have a understanding that this is because all workers compete for the next block and the chance that the pool or you even find the next block is not certain.

I myself find that litecoin is the most accurate coin to mine and the predicted income is not too far from the predictions the calculators give.

What experience do you guys have in this regards?

What if Alt currencies don't disapear?! there are so many that have a real benefit to the Bit coin system.

A lower Block time is one big positive. plus if Bitcoin does break the 2000 or much higher it will need complimentary currencies so that we aren't all dealing in 0.0000001 to buy a Bigmac.

What benefit?
No , you can pay one sastoshi or one mBTC for a Bigmac, there a problem?

Most people are not so clued up on millionth decimal points and if Bit coin is meant to be accepted socially then that is clearly an issue for the average joe.

also there are 100's of currencies in the FX markets what makes Bitcoin so special other than a 1st mover advantage?!

Also , most bitcoins clients can switch your balance to mBTC , that can be the next default setting , so it ain't gonna be a problem for the average Joe.

Hi I'm also new here and looking to get into mining. What is everyone's opinion about mining Stablecoins? Also, for stablecoins and scrypt is CPU mining any good?

CPU mining is a fairer game for all. IMO it makes much more sense.

stable coin looks good I have some of those but  Have you seen Digital coin? WSJ just wrote 2 pieces about how it might be the next big thing. im getting on it!  Grin

Hi, I'm totally newbie here. Since Bitcoin is so high and hard do make, which coins you recommend to get into ?
For mining: Litecoins, Feathercoins or XPM. They have good rates now. Also its better to find a pool.

There is other option to get some coins... get them from Market (cryptocurrency exchange). Remember to check Market fee on withdrawal/transfer.

So I'm thinking about buying GLD Coin since I heard from numerous hacker forums it will most likely rise.  I got 4 LTC to spend, and I'm thinking about using 1 LTC to buy a bunch of em.  Is this a bad idea?  What are your thoughts on GLD Coin?
GLD coin made me a lot of cash lately.
Just spend 2 or 3 ltc on them can not hurt  Smiley
Cool. I will invest 2 LTC I suppose.  I will share the results later this week.  Hopefully it will turn out well Smiley

LTC is a bit inflated at the moment I believe, so selling and hedging in other coins isn't a bad idea!

Thanks for the warning... I will keep to BTC because it's way more stable than Alt-Coins.

Finally , somebody thinking right what to do with his money.

I am mining Alt-Coins as they have the best chance of any returns but am playing safe by converting my coins into BTC at the first opportunity.

Doing the same but keep a small portion as well to invest.

this is my plan exactly, how is this working out compared to pools that mine altcoins and pay out in btc? do you think its worth the extra work and risk?

im a little worried that i will build up a good amount of alt coins and not be able to exchange them for something a little more stable before they flop

Same here- I'm mining and converting 90% into BTC or LTC, and then keeping a handful of different coins just in case values or ratios against BTC spike.
