The Bitcoin Foundation is/was a private club that gave themselves a fancy sounding name so that others might be fooled into thinking there was something "official" about them.  To become a "member" of their club, you would donate bitcoins to them.  Then they would spend those bitcoins on whatever the club leadership wanted to.  Sometimes it might be lobbying government representatives, or educating the public, or paying developers to add features to the bitcoin code.  Other times it might be a party or gathering for socializing and networking.

If you like, you can create your own club with your friends and others.  You can also give your club a fancy name (maybe something like "The Bitcoin Association" or "The Bitcoin Management Committee".

This is pretty funny.Having a foundation is a really good business. Grin
Are the BF "members" just parasites or they do contribute and help  the bitcoin community?
How to become a leader of this foundation?Maybe we could make some changes and improve bitcoin promotion thru BF.

It does not regulate Bitcoin. It can't. Its objectives include promoting Bitcoin.
It largely became irrelevant because it was more interested in lobbying with governments rather than spending money on protocol development.

it done neither successfully, just pretended the majority of members funds were being used for those purposes while they syphoned alot out while doing the minimum

Why there is an organization named : Bitcoin Foundation, what is the main activity of its Foundation, does it produce any regulation about Bitcoin , and does we need Bitcoin Foundation?Because I think bitcoin is no need to be regulated from any organization or even any government in this world

the BF
was originally envisioned to be a place where people can get info. collaborate on projects, organise meetups social events and also fund dev teams.

it was hoped they would have got into going to help governments, legal agencies understand bitcoin better, and ensure governments didnt get too heavy handed with bureaucracy of regulating the fiat<->btc exchanges..

bitcoin itself is not in any countries/government jurisdiction.

but people are.
and businesses using bitcoin could be regulated. especially ones also handling FIAT. such as exchanges. so although you cant regulate bitcoin. businesses working at the edges between bitcoin and fiat can be played around with by governments.

the BF was not intented to ever "regulate" bitcoin or control bitcoin but be pretty much be the noticeboard of bitcoin information.

but they just milked the members dry and walked away.
