Yes, we have casinos that have been around for twenty years long before Cryptocurrency casinos have around and they integrate Cryptocurrency into their system, one of them is the industry giant Stake.com when Cryptocurrency becomes popular in casinos many casinos come out and they are still around, the Crypto casino industry is doing great and one of the most stabilize industry.

There are some casinos that folded up but they just rebrand or the group set up a casino to relaunch to adapt to the market, some casino becomes scammers but it expected to have bad actors in this kind of industry.

Actually if you are analyzing the gambling projects in this forum, moroever in Gambling Board, you will find several old gambling projects that still exitesd. Although they may stop doing the signature campaign in this forum, it doesn't mean that their operation is also ended.
How old gambling projects will survive although there are so many new gambling projects because they really deserve this. They commonly have goo supports, security systems, great display and games that make the suers comfortable being in the platform, good reputation and also trust for every user without anybig issues that is not solved.

What kills a certain old reputable gambling site or platform?

1. Withdrawal issues
2. Shady results or simply talks about fairness
3. Altering their terms and conditions

If they won't resolve their existing problems, gamblers will start to doubt the reputation of the site.
But I have seen one old casino here, with frequent problem of withdrawal issues, delayed payment and slow response from the owners.
And yet, they are still up and running. If you are long enough in the forum, you may know which casino I am talking about.
But most of the time, if the casino starts giving issues with withdrawals, people start to avoid using such casino.

I agree support is so important because fast responses are needed whenever there's an issue between their customers and the same goes here in the forum side. Lots of casino sites have started as small projects but developed and turned into big casino sites in time. Yes, they have been running for a long time and still working until now. It took a lot of courage for them to build up a strong reputation to maintain and keep their site running. Most top casino sites nowadays have been running for a long time already.

Survive or not the casino you want to build really depends on your abilities and intentions, many online casinos that appear are just to cheat and or be a scam because they don't have the ability to develop it and to get a profit, also your capital greatly affect the development.

I think he mean startup casino with utility tokens and not old casino that start from scratch because there is only few startup casino that I know that still survive on crypto space except those new web 3 casino like Betfury and Owl whose currently top of this type of casino but the rest who start this project idea during 2017 like edgeless, vslice and crypto casino startup with utility tokens already die or not that active anymore.

So I would assume only few survive and not that many if we consider those old projects way back then and not the new generation casino with utility tokens because they need to experience long crypto winter too before we can conclude.

Maybe what he mean are gambling sites which came out in the early days of crypto. There are lots of them when we backread the pages of our gambling section but many of them are not active anymore. I think that's because they are on chain type of gambling and people find it not really secure because they will just deposit on one address and the rest will be done automatically not like to the gambling sites nowadays where we have our own separate deposit address and we can be able to withdraw our funds manually.

I hate to see them losing but without proper support and the delays from withdrawals? surely it will end in bad ways.
have been playing for years , also had experiences in withdrawal delays but lucky that those site I played are really trustworthy and bring their words into reality so finding those is hard nowadays so better keep an eye on those areas.

You can see for yourself that there are in fact several casinos which have survived and thrived in this market for a very long time, if you are interested you can check the gambling section of the forum and take a look at some of those casinos.

And about what ends up killing them the truth is that the same reasons that affect regular businesses affect cryptocurrency casinos as well, some of them turn into scams, some others were badly administrated and went bankrupt and in some cases the owners lost the desire to keep themselves in business and sold their casino or simply closed their doors.
