It's a competitive industry. And while it may seem like lots of people like using Bitcoin/crypto inside some kind of bubble, especially on this forum, most people in the world still prefer using fiat, making the vast majority of gambling take place that way.

So it can and does exist and prosper for a bunch of reasons. But there's also a lot of things holding various aspects of it back.

Primedice and freebitco.in.

These two are still going strong after all these years, and have built a very active community and a huge playerbase with lots of loyal patrons. Even I remember the transition of freebitco.in from a dedicated btc faucet up until its transition to a casino. They just focused on their brand and just did what they do best, and people supported them for that. Community relations also go a long way. During Primedice and freebitco.in early days, a lot of their reps are active and can easily be approached.

I remember primedice (stake.com), 777coin [currently offline] (bitvest.io) and freebitco.in being around since about 2013.

The sites in brackets are ones that share the same team or seem to have started as a branch from the same project/company.

A lot turn into scam or disappear because they have bankrolls that are hard to manage. Even some places where the bankroll is invested by other users have seen issues in the site going offline (probably due to it not being profitible or due to a hack in some cases, exit scams are quite rife here too and there's been quite a few gambling related ones).

Aside from that, I can attest that there are old gambling sites that have survived up until now.
A very good example are freebitco and primedice, and honestly, I knew these sites before knowing this forum.
I believe a lot of users here are also long-time players in those 2 mentioned sites.
We can understand about the question of the OP as he is a newbie in the forum.
But if he tries to read the gambling board itself, he will surely understand that there are several casinos that are still active today.

Am sure there hand full of old casinos that are still very active and relevant over the years and until now, you can read through the forum to see some of those old casinos, and am sure a handful of them are still active with their signature campaigns on the forum e.g stake.

It's a bit of a bizarre question to ask in a forum that is packed full of threads about different gambling companies that have existed for many years already. Are you looking for smaller scale projects that maybe revolve around one game? The thing is, these companies have to grow big and fast or they might get stamped out by all sorts of effects. These days if you want to successfully launch a new crypto casino or sportbook you really need to have deep pockets because there are a lot of factors conspiring to put you out of business and the basic infrastructure you'll need requires a lot of upfront costs. Then you have to plow in a lot of cash in advertising along with offering things like welcome bonuses, and maybe run at a loss for the first couple years while building a reasonable user base.

Gambling has been around for long as well as those reputable gambling sites who are still very accessible until now and are still widely played by most of the gamblers. You can check it in the gambling boards if you like. However, moving this thread into gambling discussion will create more valuable and clear insights for you as a lot of gamblers will share their own experiences from different gambling sites.

OP your topic is an interesting aspect and i see the gambling section best suitable for your question to receive more response because there in gambling board, all discussion related to gambling where easily attended to upto satisfaction, there's jo need of creating another topic there, just move the thread to gambling discussion preferably.
